I went in as a new patient for a check up and cleaning. The hygienist was lovely but the first dentist told me that he was very concerned by my 4 crooked teeth on the bottom. I mentioned I'm fine with my smile and didn't want Invisalign but he wouldn't let it go. I again said that while I respect his opinion, I wasn't interested. Then he came back with a different dentist who took a picture of my teeth and zoomed in on my crooked teeth to say I have cracks in my teeth and it's very concerning. (If I have them they're not visible and I apparently have zero pain). He then pulled up his schedule and clicked into another patients file (I saw the name which I feel like violates HIPPA?) and showed me his X-rays of a broken front tooth saying that it will also happen to me because my teeth don't have enough room and I need Invisalign. I again said I wasn't interested but was given a treatment plan and shown a discounted rate which I didn't ask for. Then suddenly, I was told that I have decaying under an old filling so I needed another appointment. I knew I wouldn't be back so I attempted to dodge it by saying I would call to make an appointment, which was also ignored as they insisted I make an appointment ASAP so I felt pressured to do so. I do not trust that I was given proper care at this dental office, and also allegedly maybe was given unnecessary treatments, as well as unconsented treatments, both MAJOR. I also received the most painful "cleaning" ever, and only half done, it was painful constantly for a month. I have since found a GOOD dentist, caring, honest. They know nothing. Do not trust a word they say. Avoid this place at all cost. I walked in 2 days ago because of an abnormal and extreme toothache that happened just that day. They took an x-ray and the doctor tapped and poked a few places on and near my aching tooth and try to figure out where the pain comes from. Right after seeing the x-ray image, the doctor starts to say there is misalignment between my upper and lower teeth which is causing this problem. Then he starts to ask me whether I want to keep the tooth or have it removed. Keeping the tooth would result in a root canal and crown treatment and removal would need a replacement tooth implant in the future. The doctor did also mention my wisdom teeth but he did not think it was the problem for me this time. Everything he told me was wrong. I had brace in my middle school to correct the misalignment, and I also took great self-care on my teeth daily, including brushing and water flossing. So imagine how shocked I was to learn what he had told me. I also became suspicious about it when he said he could do the removal or the root canal right at that time. So I left without doing anything further, and booked another dentist visit in 2 days. And that proved to be dodging a huge bullet. 2 days later, I was still feeling great pain but I had been using pain meds to manage it. The new dentist I visited took a quick look and poke on my gum and was sure it was my wisdom teeth acting up. He also told me that my teeth looked great, the misalignment issue was supposed be a much longer-term thing that should never cause my acute pain. Now I am prescribed with some pain meds and anti-inflammatory meds and will get my wisdom teeth removed in a few days. Sum up again, do not go to this place, and do not trust this place. "RUN do not walk" A few days ago, my son got braces, and the orthodontist placed bite blocks to prevent his teeth from clashing when he bit down. On Saturday morning, he woke up, and they were gone--he must have swallowed them in his sleep. I tried contacting his orthodontist but couldn't get through. After searching on Google, we found this office and called. I explained the situation to the woman who answered, and she assured me they could help. His appointment was scheduled for 2:00 PM. We arrived right on time but ended up waiting in the lobby until 3:00 PM. While I wasn't upset about the wait--especially since it was a last-minute appointment--everyone else in the waiting room was clearly frustrated and complaining. Once we were finally called back, we had to wait another 20 minutes before the dentist came in. He briefly looked in my son's mouth and asked which teeth the bite blocks had been on. We weren't sure, but we knew they had been on the top. Instead of providing any real guidance, he printed off a piece of paper and told me it would cost $125 per side to replace them. I immediately said, "Absolutely not." What a complete waste of time. To make matters worse, they charged me nearly $50 for what they called an "exam"--but all the dentist did was glance in my son's mouth. The woman on the phone clearly had no idea what she was talking about and should have explained the pricing and process beforehand. We have great dental insurance, and there was no way I was paying that outrageous fee. From the moment I walked in, I had a bad feeling about this place, and I should have trusted my instincts. Got a tooth extracted August 2, 2023. Came in about two, and I was out of there by 4:30pm. Once myself and Dr. Albert Natanov confirmed the numbing shots had taken hold, it took Dr. Natanov just 30 seconds to extract molar, painlessly. Extraction cost around $430 that day. $130 to see the Dr. and then $325 to extract. It's just around four shots of numbing agent and a little pressure. I mean it when I say it was painless. The tooth had been infected for a minute too, so my body feels so much better. Bloodstream bacteria infections are no joke. I had them extract a tooth in 2017, and I'm glad I found them again. The most bizarre dental experience ever! After x-rays, a flossing and polish ( no cleaning tartare) I told the nice hygienist I was under a time constraint. I Just wanted my teeth cleaned. He didn't care he told me I'd be fine but told me to raise my hand if I experienced pain so he could stop, but then he refused to stop. I went there last minute and wish I had read the bad reviews beforehand because they are accurate. I felt very pressured into buying Invisalign even though my teeth are fine; they even presented me with a printout of the Invisalign cost breakdown. I had asked for a root canal but was told I couldn't get one because my tooth was too deteriorated, even though I was informed a few months ago that I could. There was only one dentist who could do the work, so I arrived at 9:30 AM and didn't leave until 11:40 AM, just to get my tooth pulled. Each time someone came to see me, there was a 30-minute wait. The dentist numbed my mouth the second time he saw me, then made me wait another 20-30 minutes while he worked on another patient. When he returned to pull my tooth, I told him I wasn't entirely numb. He then recklessly poked inside my cheeks and gums with a long needle about five more times. I was scared, squirming, and making noise, and he rudely told me not to do that because there were other patients!! Yes DR.ALBERT NATANOV TOLD ME that instead ensuring me that everything is ok. It was very inconsiderate, especially when using such a large needle. I don't recommend this dental office at all. Read all the bad reviews. A zero rating should be allowed to be given. This business is bad. They stole money from me and I have spent a month trying to get answers about what has happened and been given the run around. Oh the doctor will have to call, the doctor will have to call. BUT HE NEVER CALLS. On October 22nd we were charged for invisalign ($389), which we paid off in July and hadn't had a payment taken since August or September. Called no answers no one could explain anything. A week goes by, we still had not received a refund. Call again, they sent the refund, need to wait. Okay, kept waiting. Call again and are told they refunded $319 which then we realized we had received but since it was refunded through paypal and had no information attached we didn't know what it was. Asked about the $70 difference, no answers. Told we'd have to speak to the doctor. Called twice more, was told the doctor would call because they couldn't see anything on my account for the $70. Called today and suddenly there is a $70 charge for X-rays from July of 2021! Asked for my card to be deleted from their system and was told legally they are not allowed to delete that information. I then said I need to speak to the Dr. now because this is ridiculous we live on a fix income and can't have random charges we know nothing about happening and then not being refunded fully happening again. Whoever answered started raising her voice at me, and yes I raised mine because it has been a month of this crap, all of which I have been patience through until today. I originally went to Albert dental for an emergency tooth pain on a Saturday, which is why I picked this office. Everything went downhill from there. The receptionists are rude and very unhelpful every time I've called. I was put on hold for over 45 minutes and when I called back I was told they forgot about me. Dr. Albert saved my fiance's life . He had a severe infected tooth. The dentist gave him the appropriate antibiotics and did oral surgery on him. He had to cut the tooth out and did a bone graft with stitches and a few other procedures. If the dentist didn't get the tooth out quickly he would of died. The surgery was great and his cost was not bad for everything he had to do. Most importantly this dentist saved a life . This happened last year and I do recommend this dentist. 5 stars! They were able to get me in within about an hour of my calling. Great experience. Everyone was very kind and professional. Dr. Albert Natanov was very thorough and informed me of my options. Stay away! I had an emergency on a Sunday and was recommended to Albert Dental by my dentist. I needed two temporary crowns on my front teeth and a root canal. If you're looking for brown teeth and expecting to pay $2,000 then this is the place for you! They were unprofessional with their set up and staffing and after I called to complain and asked them to cancel my appointment and stop my permanent teeth I was met with a rude attitude from the receptionist. Thankfully I was able to get into a specialist that took the time to properly prepare my teeth for the permanent crowns I needed and color matched them perfectly. I had an appointment at Albert Dental approximately 5 years ago. I had a chipped front tooth and needed a crown. It was $1400. It lasted about 3 years. It was the incorrect crown and my tooth underneath decayed. I now need an implant or partial denture. I have a temporary tooth in it's place. I called back once and they told me that I was never a patient. I think that was because I had a credit for another procedure that I planned to have done there. Will never return. read more

5 stars for gentle and excellent car during a dental emergency on a Saturday. Couldn't find any other dentist open and when we arrived for our 3pm appointment found the lobby jammed with people all needing emergency help. We waited 2 hours to be seen, but even so we were just thankful not to have to wait until Monday. We heard one patient drove out from near St Louis just to be seen. Each and every member of the staff was whizzing around and being as quick as they could to fit everyone in. You'd think they would be frazzled and barely polite by the end of the day... Not so! We felt really cared for and when we did get to meet the Dr. he made my husband feel like he had been his only patient that day. ---You might want to read this before you head in to Albert Dental.------ This dentist performed a root canal, and attempted 2 crowns back a couple of months ago. Key word on attempted. Dr. Natanov left my bite so badly off after leaving the office, that I could not eat anything whatsoever. I could not even bring by jaw together without risking breaking or severely injuring the tooth on the left rear of my mouth. (The teeth that he worked on ) He left my teeth in such agony, that my gum line got badly infected. When I returned to the office to have my bite fixed, the dentist spent all of maybe 5 minutes trying to bring the high side down and restore the bite to its proper form. After several attempts using the dental paper and being unsuccessful, Dr. Natanov became frustrated and simply told me "your good". It was at that point I knew that I was anything but "good". That is when I was forced to make a call to another office in Overland Park, and tell them about my mouth, and the emergency. I would like to disclose the other office because they did great work, but I fear this dentist will retaliate if I do so, so I will leave them out of it. The specialist brought me in to see me the same day that Dr. Ablert failed to rectify my situation, and sent me out the door in agony. This specialist took x rays, looked at my bite, and the root canal done at Albert Dental, plus the crown imprints. They were in shock to see a dentist leave me in that condition. They informed me that I had an active infection in my gum line, that the temporary crowns (imprints) would never be successful do to corrosion left inside the tooth, and due to the bite being so badly off when the imprints were taken. Long story short, I never returned to Albert Dental. The cost has now exceeded $5000 to repair the damages done at Albert Dental.I am currently in the process of submitting a formal complaint to the KS dental board and this may turn into a malpractice law suit. To make things even more ridiculous, after leaving a negative review on FB of Albert Dental, this dentist retaliated on my social media business account leaving fake reviews under a fake alias! I had to have an emergency root canal done in the fall of 2016 and Albert Dental was the only dentist in the state who was open. I went to their office and had the procedure done and a crown was placed. I hadn't experienced any problems with it until yesterday when the crown fell out while eating gummy vitamins. I called their office this morning to set up an appointment to have the issue fixed and was told that not only would I be expected to pay 80 dollars to even be seen but that I would also be liable for the cost of replacement too, despite the fact that the crown barely lasted over a year. Do not go use their services. I spent nearly three thousand dollars to have my the root canal done and the crown placed only to have their subpar work fail in a little over a year. I used to work here a couple years back and lasted 1 month because I kid you not I could not believe the things I witnessed working at this dental practice. I strongly suggest people to stay away from this office. This doctor is not trust worthy. The dental assistant I was working with at the time was not careful and would touch clean instruments with her dirty gloves and I was not only worried but disgusted as she acted like she didn't even care which means they are unethical when it comes to sterilizing equipment. I would give them zero stars if I could! I took my adult son in for an emergency appointment on a Sunday afternoon. My son was in a great deal of pain, so they took him back right away. Almost an hour later, the hygienist came out with a statement of charges and told me that "doctor won't see him until you pay". What? What's been happening for the last HOUR? I paid over $800 for 2 extractions / seemed pricey, but it was a Sunday, so I didn't argue. Another hour passed before my some came out - they were trying to sell him all sorts of crap he didn't need, so I told him we needed to leave. It was obvious he was in tremendous pain. As soon as we stepped outside, my 27year old collapsed into my arms sobbing. He said they did both extractions WITHOUT ANESTHESIA. I'm not sure what they injected him with - if it actually was Novocain, it didn't work. he kept telling them it was painful and was told it was "just pressure" and "don't be a baby". He told me he'd never had anything hurt so badly in his life. I was torn between taking care of my son and going back in the office to complain. My son was more important, so I took him home. Thank goodness for Dr. Natanov and Bridget. Last month one of my front teeth broke off at the gum line while eating lunch and panicked. I rushed over to the office on a Sunday and was seen almost immediately as a walk in. The same day I received a dental implant and a temporary fix for my tooth that should last until I'm able to get my crown in a few months. So far, I've had no issues! I worked here at Albert Dental and I would not recommend ANYONE going here. Dr. Natanov is a scam artist. There were many MANY times I would tell Dr. Natanov a patient had a credit on their account and he would not let them know that. He would charge people for nitrous (laughing gas) and not even have a tank of it. He recommends a root canal, to buy a water pick, crowns, and his electric tooth brush for everyone. He does not sterilize his equipment that he uses on EVERYONE, and will make up prices to charge you using a special code. Many people have sued him, the good reviews are paid for. I was told that they will refund our money for whatever our dental insurance will pay. Best dentist I've found in KC. Dr. Albert is knowledgeable, gentle, and does fantastic work. I've had emergency work done at two other practices, and this is by far the best. I had to get a crown and two root canals all in the space of three weeks. Even worse, the second one had to be done the day before I was scheduled for an international flight! Dr. Albert worked me in at the last minute. He explained several courses of treatment at different prices, so I could make an informed decision. I got the work done, and the relief was immediate. No complications and no regrets. They're not the cheapest around, but you definitely get more than you pay for. High quality and compassionate service. Money very well spent. Fantastic experience at Albert Dental. First of all they are open on weekends. Clearly, dedicated to his patients. My crown had fallen off on Friday and was traveling the next week so i searched for an office and his is i believe the only one in the area open and taking patients on weekends. Very professional staff. I was in and out in no time. DR Albert was the dentist doing the cementing of my crowne and he explained my options clearly. Recommeneded given the age and condition of crowne that i replace but offered to re cement old crowne for now while he filled for pre authorization from insurance. I'll start my review by saying that if you also had a bad experience with Albert Natanov, you should report him to the Kansas Dental Board. My experience at Albert Dental was absolutely dreadful. Albert scammed be into believing I needed to have 12 amalgam fillings replaced with composite, as a sort of preventative maintenance (he said my teeth were going to fracture if I didn't replace them). I'm 23 and none of those well-placed fillings were older than 10 years. After trying to get a second opinion from the web and another dentist, I didn't get a very clear answer. I decided I didn't want the treatment. My mistake was going back to Albert, telling him "no," and then letting him PUSH me into getting the fillings replaced. I should have left then, but he really put me on the spot, so I reluctantly accepted. He thought it was a good idea to replace 7 fillings in 3 corners of my mouth in ONE TREATMENT. The result is that my bite has been out of alignment, and my teeth and jaw have been in pain for 4 months, even after going back to his office again 4 times to get the bite adjusted. On the 3rd revisit, he suggested I might need a root canal. REALLY?! I didn't even want to get the fillings replaced, and now he's telling me I'll need to pay thousands to fix the mess HE created?! He also scheduled 3 cleanings in 1 year (insurance only covers 1; 3 is completely unnecessary!) He tried to sell me an expensive toothbrush, water flosser, and teeth whitening. Albert isn't just a reckless dentist, but he's also a con-artist! Then if you're thinking of switching dentists, forget about getting your records transferred from here. The receptionists Cindy and Rose will be absolutely undelighted to help you. One of them even told me that I needed to have my new dentist request the records. That's against the HIPAA privacy rule. Very unprofessional. Natanov is an absolutely shameful dentist. He is deceitful and will do whatever he can to try and empty your pockets, regardless of whether or not you actually need treatment. And you will likely leave his office in pain, wishing you had never gone in the first place. I didn't have any dental problems before I visited Albert Dental, but I surely do now. I will make sure to tell my friends, co-workers, and family to stay away from this quack. After I reviewed them on Google, they tried calling me 3 times in a row to check on me and "see how my fillings were doing." It's been 2 months since I last went to their office. I prepaid for the service $1500 since the office staff had already went home and couldn't process our insurance. The following Monday the staff filed with our insurance company. They immediately received payment from Delta Dental. Yet I haven't received ANY money back from Albert Dental. The root canal work he did is fine and we are happy but I am extremely disappointed and angry that I can't seem to get our money back. I've struggled for a while about whether or not to submit a review because quite frankly, I hate leaving negative reviews. I'm typically a positive reviewer, or I don't post at all. However, after thinking about it the last few months, I realize others seriously need to be warned to stay away from this place. My first clue that something wasn't right was that the waiting room was full of people who all had the same appointment time as I did. Someone in the lobby even asked how many hygienists were working and figured out we had all been quadruple booked. But I stayed. The hygienist was very nice and personable. No complaints there. I had a cleaning and X-rays (ps- one year ago, and every year prior to that, X-rays have come back totally normal). But the dentist came in and discussed lengthy dental work that needed to be completed, including having a cracked tooth and the need for two additional crowns. For someone with repeated clean bills of dental health, I was pretty shocked to hear this. And I almost fell for these claims of my horrific oral hygiene until the dentist turned into a salesperson in 0.2 seconds with "We recommend fluoride treatments as well. They cost $70. Would you prefer strawberry or banana flavor?" When I said no thank you, he repeated the flavor choice rather than ever asking for my consent of the procedure. A classic "either-or" sales technique. After the dentist attempted scare tactics of stating my teeth would literally break off if I didn't address these serious issues immediately, it was on to the lady who would explain the cost of the various procedures and insisted I sign a piece of paper acknowledging the work needed to be done, even when I stated on several occasions that I didn't feel comfortable signing it. I did, and I regret it. Please, please do not make the same mistakes I do. You only get one set of these in this life, and it is important to find a trusted dentist. I'm new to the area, and I initially chose wrong. My feelings over the past several months are the same as when I left the office-- this dental practice is only out to make a profit, even if it is at the expense of the oath to do no harm. read more

My mom went here for her teeth to be pulled and get dentures. I've never seen my mom cry so much from the pain. Also she said you're suppose to be treated like family here ha! The first thing they say is you owe money. She was suppose to get her dentures and they called five minutes before the appointment and said they aren't in. Where to begin... I saw the reviews, but I wanted to go in giving them a benefit of a doubt. I went in because I had issue with my bite that had happened over the weekend. I came in expecting to have them grind my teeth down where my bite was off. I should have known something was wrong when I was the only person there at 8 AM. No other appointments. I told the hygienist my problem, and she even said: "oh you probably just bruised your teeth." Which was what I thought as well. When the doctor came in I expected him to say the thing and help me out. Instead I get fed this totally bull crap story about how I need braces. That the reason I can't close my mouth properly is that all my teeth are misaligned. I had braces years ago, and my teeth are still straight. I tried to explain to him my problem, and asked if there was anything he could do for me. However, he just kept pushing braces at me, and was more than willing to tell me how much my insurance would cover. I've never had a dentist feel like such a used car sales person. I was quoted well over $1,000. He refused to grind my teeth, and would only write me for a pain prescription. I hurriedly left telling them I wanted to discuss with my spouse. Later that day, I got a second opinion at another dental office and lo and behold.... my teeth were just bruised. This doctor assured me my bite would be back to normal in a few days. In the meantime, he grinded my teeth for me to make me more comfortable. Not even two days later my teeth were back to normal. Do NOT go to Albert Dental. He will scam you. read more

I broke my tooth on a Saturday while eating lunch. I checked Google, and found Albert dental was accepting walk-ins. They got me in quick! in a little over 1 hour I had a GREAT looking veneer. The match is excellent and a good price. I am very happy with the service and quality, will be back in the future! read more

I went here after receiving a referral from a dentist in network. I was NOT happy about my services with the original dentist, so I was also a little nervous about the person they referred me to. I wanted to leave a review for Albert Dental saying they did a great job, were organized, and made me feel calm about getting a tooth extracted. I saw Dr. Natanov and he had a great bedside demeanor and explained each step in the process. I really liked my interactions with all the staff, which was pretty surprising considering I was super irritable after my previous dentist wasting my time that same morning (made an appt for extraction with dentist, which they told me when I arrived was not a service they offered. Then I was insulted by a cocky dentist which put the cherry on top). I definitely felt like this was a quality, experienced dentist and I will be returning for my general dentistry needs. I have Medicaid so my choices are limited, but I would rather pay out of pocket than deal with an untrustworthy dentist. read more
