And 3 years later, I've given this place another several shots because they have a better produce section than Costco in our area.. and i am quite surprised at the shift in customer service. Customer service: I'm not sure what happened to the bald manager, if he's still there or not, I haven't seen him. But I do have to praise all the employees there. I see many new faces and they are all so helpful and friendly. Food: I do get their fried chicken meals here, although a bit salty for my taste, the family pack is a good deal. I like that there's a Starbucks in here for this zombie momma. Produce section is great, I like that they have an organic section. Everything seems more organized in comparison to stater bros. I like their deli section too. My mom purchased salmon there and that particular one was a fresh catch. Environment: Well, I did feel safer three years ago compared to now. My last visit, a crazy homeless pregnant lady was lurking around the parking lot. I was so tempted to give her something, anything, but was advised not too because everyone says she's a drug abuser and I could get attacked. I'm giving this Albertsons 5 I'm a cancer conqueror. I WANT to stay alive! I eat ONLY! And I do mean ONLY!!! ORGANIC. The exception to the rule is non-gmo is allowed, sometimes. But more and more. Not even non-gmo is good enough. So what's good enough for you? Do you go for the fast food. Do you stuff your mug with processed food. Here's a thought. Throw away the garbage chemicals in the box. The cardboard it comes in has more nutritional value. I like this store because.... This store has my FAVORITE RAW ORGANIC TORTILLAS WARM THEM YOURSELF.! Soooo YUMMY! And my SO Delicious Coconut creamer. THEY even have an ORGANIC hard Parmesan cheese! WOW!!! They have olives and a whole host of veggies! So if COSTCO is closed and Roots is too far COME HERE! Extremely great customer servies. I needed formula today and decided to stop here on my way home. It isn't my normal store I shop for formula so I asked the first employee how to I buy formula here. Sometimes they are locked up and sometimes they are in the aisle. This employee explained they are locked up but went out of his way to find the keys and get me my cans of formula. He was very kind and professional. This will be my go-to place to stop for formula from now on. read more

I love the people who work at this Albertsons. The store is always clean and well stocked. HOWEVER, this new single line idea is STUPID. They say it's for social distancing but everyone always ends up super bunched up in the liquor area. Whomever came up with this idea needs to get out of the ivory tower and visit a few actual stores. This is a very bad idea, not just from a social distancing perspective, but also from a customer experience perspective. It feels like I'm waiting in a Disneyland line, but there is no exciting ride to look forward to at the end. Please go back to normal. Really, we are all big boys and girls and can manage our own social distancing just fine. read more

Went in at 6:50ish to get some fried chicken. Everything was empty I asked the deli worker what time does the deli close at she says 9pm and I said where's the chicken she points to the back of the fryers she had two trays with all the different chicken varies mixed together. My chicken was under done and cold and my wedges dried out cold and hard. I am really disappointed with this store. Having the employees cleaning up during deli operating hours just to save money on employee hours is sad. The food was inedible and disappointing. Used the self-checkout and the machines were not working well at all. It wasn't my first time using a self-checkout but I had to request help because the machines were not working well. An employee (older man with glasses) who was working the self-checkout area seemed like he didn't want to help customers out at all. I also overheard him telling a customer, (who was successful with the self-checkouts) "good job, you did it, you're not a caveman." What is he getting paid for? It's Thanksgiving and just brought home the "Complete Turkey Dinner Kit". Everything is frozen prepackaged suff I could have gotten off the shelf. The turkey is most disappointing. Frozen. The women in the deli are telling everyone "It may need a little longer cooking time, usually 1 1/2 hours to 2 normal, but partially frozen just leave it in the over an extra hour". The first line on the direcions state: If frozen completely thaw turkey in refrigerator. It might take 2 to 3 days or more. This complete Turkey Dinner is NO bargain. 3 days ago I had a partially thawed turkey and fixins in my cart, but put everything back thinking this would be easier. NAVER AGAIN, YOU FOOLED ME ONCE. What the heck is wrong with Albertsons in Lake Elsinore? They no longer carry fresh hot bread. When I asked for some, I am told the new bakery manager discontinued it. The selections here aren't what they used to be, the PRICES are much higher, the self checkouts were taken out & 2 new "express" checkouts were installed that are rarely ever open, and at the busiest time of the evening (when people get off work) there is only 1 checker. We have frequented this store since moving into the area about a year ago. The store is clean, and the staff (besides Starbucks) has always been friendly. Prices are average. I have to be careful and always check dates here, because I've purchased milk and eggs that have been expired numerous times. They don't seem to rotate, and the dates on the eggs are typically too close for comfort. The Starbucks is horrible. Employees don't acknowledge customers and would rather hold personal conversations then provide the customer service they are paid to perform. I managed an Albertsons for about 10 years, and am not too picky when it comes to store operations, but I do try to see things from a customers point of view, since I am now a customer and not an employee. Dates really need to be checked on a regular basis. Store walks need to be done especially in perishable departments. The gourmet cheese case is normally filled with out of codes or close dates products. The eggs is a whole issue in itself. Milk has been better the last month, same with juices. Tortillas have been a problem as well. All in all, I will continue to shop at this store. Staff is friendly, and I've never had a problem at the meat, deli, or bakery department. Something needs to be done about the Starbucks though, because those employees don't deserve the paycheck they are cashing. read more

I have to start out by saying I really like Albertsons. But in there ad this week they are posting Rib Eye $4.77 a lb 4 steaks per package 2 packages per person. My Daughter went there on Sun. And she had to ask about them. The butcher brought her 2 packs 3 in each pack she did not notice. I went there today tues. The 8th last day of sale is tomorrow. I saw 4 packs of 2. I asked the butcher for the 4 packs. They said thats all there is. u can have 2 packs of 2. I said can I get a rain check no she said because of the PANDEMIC u can not thats all. I said why did u advertise it if u don't have the steaks. The PANDAMIC has been going on since Feb. March. Thats just the way it is she said. I called the albertson hotline. Lol they said the same crap. I said the same thing I had said. I told them I could not afford steak like this everyday they should not advertise it. It definitely is one of the cleanest grocery stores i have been too but it is more expensive them the average grocery store I never have to wait in line and they are quick with the customer service which is why they get three stars read more

Employees are nice and friendly. Store is always clean and organized. Love the Friday deals that they have.

Can't complain, the lines are never overly long, the aisle are amply wide, staff is knowledgeable plus friendly, and the selection is decent cause when kombucha is no longer a health foods store only item and available at your everyday folks market you know it's mainstream. read more

I prefer other stores however because overall this store tends to be pricey when comparison shopping. I went here to buy 30 steaks worth $300 on 13 Oct around 200 PM. You would think they would want my business. Not really. I bought 12 steaks and asked them to cut me 18 more. I asked to see the steaks before they wrapped them so I can see the cut of meat I was buying. The answer I got was if I cut you 18 steaks then 18 steaks is what your going to get. I said I want to look at the steaks. Answer was what for? I said so I can see what cut of meat I was getting. Answer was all will be the same. Why do you need to look at them. REALLY?! I placed an online order for about $120 on thursday 5/3 for (3) 3 foot long subs for a funeral I was hosting on sunday 5/6. I requested that they be available at 8am. I arrived around 10am to pickup and when I got back to the deli, the workers there had no clue what was going on. They had no knowledge of my order that I had placed days before. They went in the back to "look" for 9 feet worth of sandwiches and found nothing, they later blamed the woman who had worked the day before saying she didn't make them, but they were supposed to be ready at 8 and I arrived 2 hours later at 10, plenty of time to correct any errors and 2 hours to make the sandwiches. I spoke to a manager who went to the back and never came back to help me. Also as I was back in the deli waiting, I noticed ALOT of the food there looked old, probably from the day or day(s) before, it was very crusty looking. Long story short I arrived to the funeral empty handed as no one even offered to correct the error and make the sandwiches, they were making it seem like I was the problem. If the store can't access online orders maybe take them off the website so further customers who choose albertsons are not disappointed and have their order ignored. I am not looking for compensation or anything like that. I just want you to take a look at the people you have running this operation, as well as the system of online orders because obviously they are failing at that. I've been a regular customer at this location for about two years now. Although customer service for a whole is good, I always come home with an expired item! I mean these are items I feed my children. How is this even happening after I have notified numerous managers and I know based on these yelp reviews others have as well. I told the store manager who offered me a $25 gift card, mind you I spend over $800 a month here and thrown away about a quarter of that due to being expired. This is absolutely unacceptable! I visited Albertsons this afternoon and I was very disappointed and disgusted by the attitude and service the cashier, Brianna S., gave not only us but the two customers ahead of us. When we approached there was a man paying and he pulled out $3 and asked Brianna if he could break it into quarters for him. She then proceeded to make a grunting noise and ask another cashier for quarters. After the other cashier said she wasn't sure, Brianna rudely shoved the money back into the mans hands stating that she wasn't a bank. He walked away and Brianna insisted on making more comments about the man to the next woman in line and again stating how she wasn't a bank. When she reached us she treated us like if we were an inconvenience and focusing her attention on other employees. As I was reaching for the stuff I had bought she somewhat shoves it in my direction. I have been helped by Brianna in the Deli section a couple times before and every visit with her is nothing but rude.
