Date of visit: March 9, 2026 This Albertson's is practically across the street from work so it was the perfect place to stop in and snag some bakery items to celebrate/commiserate this past weekend's Daylight Saving Time. The first time having their bakery was actually pretty good, both the mini muffins and the donuts were a hit with the team and I liked what I tried as well. While the prices seemed a bit high for what I got, the store was in good shape and the items I was perusing were all signed and labeled correctly. Also, I appreciated not needing to give a blood sample to get the sale prices. Another bonus is the USPS machine just past the checkout counters as I needed to mail an envelope and was able to do that from the kiosk without issue. read more

It will be discontinued. There are white signs. Some are digital deals only. Use your telephone number at checkout. Some are sale deals. Also, in the Ice Cream Aisle, every tub was soft! I think that they had to dump it all. Hubby found an employee to report this too. We ended up getting the selection from the End Cap aisle. But then the sign was misleading. White sign, must buy 2. The worse location I have been to !!! I wanted to pay my energy bill at customer service and for one, it took 3-4 employees to look at me and not say anything or help me as I was standing there at customer service. I approached the lady who was assisting self checkout and had asked her if customer service was closed. She said no she's still There. Mind you, I don't see no one there. So I wait about 3 mins. And still no one. Until someone made eye contact me after the fact that she had passed by me and after she cleaned the register she was about to open. Now she comes to me and I tell her what I need to do, she says we don't do that here. I said but the other location by my house does it, and she still repeated that she doesn't do the payments there without the physical bill. I repeated myself that other locations have done so with me filling out a small slip with my account number. She said again that they don't have the paper slips so that means they don't do it there without the physical bill. I went to this location because I was nearby. Never again!!! read more

We used to go to Albertsons on Durango but happened to be near this one and decided to try it. We are glad we did! The staff all seem consistently happier and friendlier at this location. The deli is busy, but the staff seem very attentive and even offer you a sample slice to taste! The store seems much cleaner and better kept than the other location, but the aisles are a bit tight at times. One thing I notice is that when you pass a staff member in the aisle they always give you a friendly greeting which I really appreciate! Prices are variable. You can definitely get some good deals with their rewards program. I do notice they tend to have higher prices than Walmart, but I do prefer the ambiance of Albertsons to Walmart! Overall, this is a great store and has become our go-to market! read more

The store is fine. The people that work there are great. My one big complaint is the parking lot. It is extremely dangerous as there are a few stop signs, but there are no signs. It is just lightly painted on the ground, but it looks like it has not been updated in many years so therefore people do not stop. It is extremely dangerous. Shoppers BEWARE if the poultry you purchase. Remember Pilgrim Pride owner donated 5 million to Trump's campaign to take off a specific regulation pertaining to the spoilage of poultry. Albertson's, as well as other grocers purchase poultry frim Pilgrims Pride who is a subsidiary of JBS (billionaires). Anyway, I purchased 2 packs of chicken legs, I went home, cleaned and seasoned the chicken, I fried all of the chicken. I taste the crisp, which was fine but when I bit the chicken it tasted horrible. I spit it out. Then I look at the meat it was black. I never seen anything like this. My son came over, took a piece. He spit it out, he said the meat was rotten. I threw everything away. Now I am disgusted with chicken. I cant eat it anymore. So just beware of the meat you purchase. read more

Albertsons is great! You'll find them on Flamingo and Hualapai. There's ample parking. The store is very clean and fully stocked with various cooking essentials, snacks, baked goods, and even the fresh produce section is well-maintained. I noticed an ongoing sale, especially with ice cream, wow! I went to one of the kiosk for self-service and experienced an error. After multiple attempts, Verna and Geralyn from customer service came by and offered a solution which is so nice! I really appreciate the kind gesture and attentiveness, it means alot. Service from Verna and Geralyn is remarkable and excellent! They're very kind, welcoming, helpful, consderate, and friendly. While I don't visit Albertsons too often, in the event that I do need something, chances are they'll have something I need. What's great about this Albertsons is that there's a DMV self service Kiosk which is nice but if you're not familiar with using the self checkout Kiosk, finding assistance may be quite difficult. While they do have deli section, I've only ever been there a handful of times and usually just stop by for the Starbucks if I'm in the area! The food mainly consists of rotisserie chicken and dishes that you can scoop yourself such as mac n' cheese, chicken tenders and such and it'll be weighed to determine the price. Though as far as Albertsons goes, while I've been to this one for years, it's about time I gave it a review and really, nothing stuck out to me. The only thing that really stuck out to me was the convenient DMV kiosk but even then sometimes it can be out of service. Overall as of now I would lean it more towards a 3.5 stars and hope that the service will improve in the future! read more

I don't think it's professional for cashiers to be on their phones while they are working! Donna was so busy on her phone she didn't even notice us. Maybe she was mad about what was on her phone but she was out of pocket from the beginning. I went to this Albertsons tonight May 24th. Donna the lady working the 1 register that was open was extremely rude! She snapped at me not to put anymore sodas up because her ribs were hurt. I told her maybe she should have a sign so everyone knew. When she realized I was talking about her ribs the attitude started. She was almost throwing my groceries. I remarked that she had shaken up all the sodas. She tried to reply but, I informed her I wasn't talking to her. Of course she called the manager cause I called her a rude bi**h. I went to talk to the manager told her exactly what happened and she only heard what I said. Of course the manager isn't going to say anything to Donna about her customer service skills. The fact that i found a HAIR that looks like a PUBIC HAIR in my fruit cup packaging has me in disbelief. That is so disgusting. That means they are not wearing hair/beard nets.. Unless it truly is a pubic hair... I am never shopping at this location again as if i found a hair in my fruit cup i'm sure there is more hairs in other food items. Am I wrong for loving these donuts from Albertsons bakery? Man, I can't get enough of those chocolate covered plain cake donuts they make! My only gripe is that every time I go it seems that they are out of them. That's no bueno man! So then I have to buy a box of the assorted stuff just to get the ones I like. It's crazy that out of all the fancy donut shops in town no one can make a chocolate plain cake like this! The texture, flavor and the fact that it's not greasy. They are all so not expensive. Service is, serve yourself and first come first serve your self (most of the time they are out anyway). Ambiance is a grocery store but I'm telling you that you very one else is trying to get to fancy with their donuts that the miss the simple easy goodness of a normal donut. It sucks that you can only find them at Albertsons because personally I like the fuel program at smiths better but since I'm there, I usually pick up about $50 of stuff that I may need at the house. I've lived in Vegas for the better part of six years and used to love this Albertson's location. In fact, it was the only one my family would shop at once a week. Lately, one employee named Bill (Self-checkout cashier) has acted more and more inappropriately towards a relative of mine. He constantly asks where my relative works, forced her to give him all 10/10 on employee survey if she wanted to continue her self checkout of groceries, and in the last week, cornered her again when alone to question where she works. This employee is displaying predatory behaviors and my relative wants to file a complaint, but is afraid. I hope Bill gets fired for his unacceptable behavior. read more

I don't visit this location often, but when I do it's usually to use the extra services provided such as the post office and DMV kiosk. I'll tell you what! The bottom line is any store that still has a cashier running the cash register instead of a self check out is going to get my business from now on. I spend approximately 600 bucks a week at the grocery stores picking out the best possible quality food that I can for my children. I used to go to Whole Foods. However, the quality turned to shameful about five years ago. Same thing with Trader Joe's just because they have increased price tags doesn't mean it's better quality and that's sad and Albertson's that has always been. The bottom of the barrel is now at the top of the echelon because of service! I refuse to spend that kind of money I do, or even a penny and check myself out. I moved to this side of town back in March/April 2020. As always you have to find stores, shops, coffee houses etc. I decide to pull in here and grab a coffee. This was near the beginning of the padademic. I'm greeted by a friendly voice as I am walking in. Like a Paul Simon song, his name is Alfred, but let's call him Al, then a hello from the Barista, while in line a passing by worker asks me how's my day. I'm simply blown away by everyone being so friendly. Now, with coffee in hand made perfectly by the barista, I believe his name was Sean, I decided to walk around. I walk up to seemingly the friendliest person I may have ever met and ask him if they have the bottled starbucks mocha drinks. He replies yes and walks me over to them. Once again, this was Al. I'm blown away that he walked me over to them instead of pointing. Also shocked, they had them and told him thank you. He simply replied, "That's why we're here. If you need anything else, just ask." I've never been to any store where every time I go, everyone is in a good mood, friendly and nice. Everyone at this location not only seems to like their job but seems to love working there, and it shows. They take pride in their store. I try to take care of them because they are part of my community. It's more than a store it's also its own community within our community. From the store manager to the nice people gathering the carts, from the checkers to the floor workers, everyone is friendly, kind, and helpful. Even during the beginning of the padademic. Heck, even the store manager back then, and now it will take time to not only talk with you about a product but will walk you over to it. Albertsons Vons, when you read this, you should take notes. This is the shining example of how your stores should be. Corp. you could learn a lot from Alfred and his entire team who work together to run their store. This location, once again, is more than a store it's part of our community, and I want to thank them all. The amazing team at this Albertsons above and beyond excellent. Their kindness, friendliest, and overall positivity have helped me and so many others in our community over the past year's. Thank you so much. As a special note, I want to thank all my amazing baristas at this location. But above all, I want to say thank you to the first person who was randomly nice to me here. I went back to Albertsons on Flamingo and Hualapai today 4/19/24 the store was much cleaner and neater! Thank you! The food looked much better too! The staff is not too friendly tho. That's ok tho sometimes people have problems ,who knows . I think it's more that it needs to be upgraded with new floors , paint , lighting etc .. , but that's esthetics ,at least it was more organized . Maybe in the future they will renovate as this area is becoming a popular area with the movie studio coming and all of the new homes going up. . I've been shopping at Albertsons for years and I have to say this one needs to close down. The employees, the management nobody gives a crap about you. They have a sign up in the front that says if you see more than three people in a line let us know and we'll get somebody else and that's a bunch of BS. There were two lines, 6 to 7 people in each line and no help was ever called for. I then went to self check out, started to complete my transaction and then the machine decides to freeze. The lady tells me that the money that was already taken from my card will automatically be put back and then I would have to ring my items up again. She then told me that I couldn't go to an open register and then I would have to get back in line. WTF? This place is trash. I was so hesitant to go to a store during these times. However I was so impressed how this location is taking measures to keep us safe. At the entrance there is an employee with mask that hands you a disinfectant wipe, once you enter, there is a person wiping down all carts with sanitizer and hands you a clean cart. People Inside the store is limited, so there was no crowding. They had good selection of vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy and other food basics. Of course the cleaning supplies and disinfect is not there, but other than that, all necessities are available. I saw employees wiping down shelves. This review is For the Albertsons on Grand Canyon and Flamingo! i find that this grocery store is generally very clean and fresh made breads and rolls are fresh if we make Sure to Evaluate dates! For the most part the people who work hear are Very knowledgeable and Willing to Help!! There is one young woman who is a Single mom who does an amazing job of putting deli meats and Cheeses so neatly and well separated that the products remain fresher Longer. She is terrific. I wish I remembered her name!! My husband no longer will order steak from a restaurant because the filet mignon(when in stock) and NY Steak bone in) are Delectable And you can hand picked them each time. In face I have two filets with a rub marinating for Tonight and smell delicious with a fresh baked potatoe and Grilled fresh asparagus !! All fresh and All Delicious. The produce section in this Albertsons is generally excellent. Once I awhile Some Veggies aren't available but I believe that it is market availability as a whole!! If you utilize the digital Coupons etc they offer it helps With some Very high priced ores For Example Cereals For $7 a box. Too rich for my budget. One of the better and cleaner stores in Las Vegas. They have more of a selection on quite a few items compared to the Smiths store just down the street. Lots of convenience in one store. They have their own post office and package drop off that I use quite often. Items seem to be in stock quite often. And all of the staff are friendly and greet you as they pass by. And they play pretty decent music while you shop. And another plus is that since it's on a nice end of town, they don't seem to have three riff raff hanging about that I've seen in other stores. read more

I'm rather conflicted on whether or not I actually like this store or not. Heck let's be honest .....I pop in here to check on their discounted items, to get Inferno wings and to see if anything is cheaper than the rest. This store has a lot of service issues, last year they had an issue with taking your shopping cart if you left it for only 5 minutes and putting your things back assuming you left. That seems to be resolved but now a new issue seems to be if you go to the meat case and want some chicken cut they will tell you something along the lines of " we can't do that because the chicken is on sale".... to me that's the most ridiculous absurd thing I've ever heard because their competitors Smiths has no problem cutting up chicken you get from the display case. Usually when things are normal price this store is over the top expensive and it seems like they are trying to work on that with some items. The store itself is clean and it's organized I just have an issue with their service and some of the other weird policies. Now I'm a big shopper at another grocery store, but I do like Albertson's for their beef. Their quality of beef is decent and generally their cupcakes are pretty good. I know weird combo right? The bakery is on the way to the meat section so a cupcake always catches my eye. Albertsons is definitely a little pricier but when they have things that go on sale it can be fairly priced. I do like their quality of meat and their bakery is hit or miss but generally it's a hit. I'm not a big fan of their bagels either. I've always checked myself out since there doesn't seem to be too many not self serve lanes open when I go...which is kind of annoying. I have never tried so hard to creepily snap a picture of someone until today lol. I've never seen a essential worker so positive and loving as that man standing right there. I found out today (by squinting at his name tag) that his name is Mark. Last week, I came super early waiting in line for Albertsons to open to make more breakfast bowls. From where I parked, which is not even close to the entrance, I hear a man shouting towards me, "GOOD MORNING!!" I smiled back and waved. He had the biggest brightest smile and his energy was so contagious I really needed it. When I was leaving the store, I heard it again, "I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!!" I didn't even know he was saying it to me so I didn't acknowledge. So he said it again, this time loud and clear so I could hear it. I was about 10 car lengths away from him by then. When he made eye contact with me I was so amazed that someone would actually go out of their way to make sure what he said was being heard. You can feel that he genuinely means what he's trying to say too. He wasn't giving me special treatment. He was greeting every single person walking in and out of that store w/ the same exact positive vibe. Such small gestures means so so much right now. A week later today, I went again. It's 3pm and kinda hot out. This man is standing in the front doing the same exact thing he did a week ago. His kind and loving demeanor still hasn't changed. This time I was able to see him up close as he greeted me at the door. I'm not trying to be weird but man, this guy really made my day. The way everything is organized here almost reminds me of how nice Smiths is. It's not as packed here as the other Albertsons I have been to, so that's also a plus for me. Las Vegas/Summerlin, NV stores Please put into affect, immediately, an hour for senior citizens to shop separately from the general public. The 6am-7am hour solely for seniors would alleviate/limit their exposure to the coronavirus. My mother has been going at 6am and the crowds and lines create a threat to her and every other senior. It took her 2 hours to check out at 6:30am for a small basket of groceries.
