The selection of cat food isn't luxurious but we found something both meows like and the price was identical to Walmart. What was that classic TV show where part of the tag line was "that bar where everyone knows your name " or something like that . Well that's how I feel about Winco... it's a no frills kind of market with generally decent stuff and I know where everything is and I know and the cashiers know me. Yeah, it's not like Sprouts or Whole Foods, not as many of the same type of an item as Smiths or Albertsons , not nearly as bare bones as Aldi's.... But you know what? It is generally fine for what I need , especially on a quick trip. Yeah, I'm not getting Boarshead deli meat or Sprouts in store sushi... but if I need "routine" groceries like eggs, breads, canned goods and produce, I'm going to go Winco and save a bit. I mean, yeah I have to bag my stuff, dodge the various folks in the parking lot who may be trying to solicit something , there's always ample parking and the hours are great. LP called to let cashier know I have some items at the bottom of the basket ' which that's what I had the cashier scanned first' After the loud phone call... the cashier had the nerve to tell me she needs to scan the things bottom of the basket, I said , "miss ! you've already scanned these, those were the First things I handed you to scan, so I could toss them at the bottom of the cart . she chuckled and said, "oh yeah"! Like wtf! Are y'all just overworked or high? The next time, if ever I return back to the store, I'll hold those items high like Rafiki held Simba in the Lion King so y'all blind bats in the back are able to clearly see that it has been scanned! Literally the worst grocery store on the planet. This isn't based off of one bad experience. Each and every single time I come into this grocery store is horrible. The only thing that has brought me in the last few times was that it was the only thing open past 11pm. Even still, I ended up giving up after waiting 20+ minutes in the line and not moving an inch because the employees are always arguing with the customer whether something costs $2.79 or $2.78. Only to leave the whole line waiting and eventually close the line down after the employee gives up. There is only 1 lane open ever, even with 10+ people waiting. I keep thinking, "whatever I'll just be patient and wait 30 min" but after that time I'm still standing in the same place and the line hasn't moved. I would rather just skip dinner for the night and wait until morning to eat again, than to deal with the nightmare that is this Winco. On top of that, you have to triple check your groceries and make sure the bag isn't sliced open from when they unload it and put it on the shelves. That's if you're lucky enough to make it through the checkout line. Negative 5 stars. Sick of this place and never coming back no matter how convenient it pretends to be, since it's the only place open at night. read more

Winco is 24 hours and they have everything you need here. The prices are good and some items are cheaper than Walmart. I've compared the prices myself. They offer everything. They even sell in bulk and have a full selection of nuts, baking items, candy, , spices,coffee, dog food, and even a machine to make fresh peanut butter and almond butter. Sometimes you're making a recipe and you don't need to buy an entire bottle of spice and can get exactly what you need. The produce prices are good, the selection is huge, and honestly, It's a solid, well- rounded market. Late at night it can get busy, and sometimes there's only one cashier but they're fast, and I'll gladly take that in exchange for having a 24/7 store. There's always a staff member available for you to ask any questions if you need.. If you're looking to save money, shop anytime, and still get great quality, this is your store. read more

i went up a star, the last time i was here the parking lot was disgusting, this time it seems they got the message to clean it up. I've found the cashiers both to be friendly and helpful. Disclaimer: i usually go very early 5:00-5:30am. the only drawback to shopping early is they are stocking the shelves. I have to use an electric cart and some aisles are blocked with pallets, making it impossible to go through. I rarely--if ever--leave negative reviews, but tonight's experience at WinCo requires acknowledgment. At approximately 8:15 PM - 8/14/25, I was using the self-checkout area. Because we had a large number of items and were not informed that moving or removing the bagging area would cause the system to stop, we had to request assistance. During the first interaction, the employee displayed visible irritation. During the second, she stated that any further assistance would result in a $15 charge per request. To be clear: assisting customers at self-checkout is a paid job responsibility, not an optional courtesy. Threatening customers with additional charges for requesting help is unprofessional, inappropriate, and unacceptable. Self-checkout may reduce labor costs, but it does not excuse staff from providing basic customer service. This interaction reflected a serious lapse in professionalism and fell well below the standard expected from a company of WinCo's size. read more

We like shopping here! The produce is fresh and the prices are better than our other grocery stores. They have honey and nut butters that we put into containers. They also have avocado oil to dispense into containers and the cost is very low by comparison to other grocery stores! Winco is great for finding good deals and lower prices. Customer service is decent but not as good as Albertsons. They also don't play music but I wish they did! The reason for 4 stars is because they usually only have 2 checkout lanes open which makes checking out a lot slower. I usually have too many items to do self checkout so I'm forced to wait in the long lines. I've found going later in the evening is a great time to go if you don't want to wait in long lines! Also beware: half of the carts they have are terrible and you have to really check to see if they work well before shopping. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Only 2 registers open and there's an issue with 1 of the customers so they backed up a register. The manager opened up an extra register, and instead of taking some of the people that have been sitting in the line waiting, he lets new people join that line that just got to the back. Imagine waiting 20 minutes for them to void an EBT item, just so you can watch everyone that's behind you go to a new line and leave before you do. This store is poorly managed. read more

First of all I like shopping at Winco. The prices are fair, the store clean and shelves well stocked. My experience on 2/13/26 leaves me uncertain about what I was told by someone claiming to be a supervisor. #1 I asked for help by a person claiming to be a "supervisor" to find a sell by date on an item. She could not find one and explained that some companies use codes and that I would have to goggle the codes. (I understand and accept her explanation about the code.) #2 I tried to goggle in the store and she told me that I would have to go outside for reception. (No internet reception in the store? Sooo winco is a grocery store you can prob find in many different states we had one back in california before I moved to vegas Each location is different I noticed a lot of the workers in california were a little more pleasant to deal with and helpful when finding items or directing you to the correct aisle I noticed also that Vegas doesn't have the best produce / or perishable items as in the freshest but winco is known for their competitive prices and 24 hour availability that is what I do like they are usually always open so if you need something last minute they are there for you to shop for your needs . They usually keep a full stock of items so that's good too . And the store is generally clean so that's good to know. I have it 3 stars just for the location and because I feel like there should be more workers In the check out sections but I would still recommend to go there for your quick grocery needs read more

They have some great deals and they sale the cheapest food I think in Vegas I always compare prices as well they stay with cheaper deals. When it comes to their Oxtails mine are always spoiled I mean like spoiled to where I open them they had my whole house smelling so bad I gagged tmi but it happened like every time I got oxtails from them so I gave up even if they have the cheapest ones I will not buy them. When entering Winco on 215 and Decatur, we as customers are expected a welcoming positive environment. This is one of the many aspects they lack. The greetings from employees here are lackluster, the store is surrounded by debris and trash. They even take an excessive amount of smoke/phone breaks. I would look up to the store manager, Kelly, to evaluate this controversy, but unfortunately she affirms these habits of the employees. Stopped by WinCo for a late night shop before coming home last night. Picked up the free things I needed, and (of course) a few things I didn't that still doing their way into my cart. Anyway, got to the checkout area we're only one of the 16 registers were open... understandable being that it was later at night, but the line really wasn't moving at all, and I was six people back. I looked over and saw that the self checkout lanes were all empty, and even though I had about 20 or 25 items in my cart, I went over there. When I came in to the corraled area, the woman who worked there got all pissy and insisted that I couldn't check out since I had more than 15 items. I told her I only came over because there was no one else there, so I knew I wouldn't be causing any harm by checking myself out; obviously, this woman thought differently. She stood there, glowering at me like she was an angry librarian representing an HOA, and I was some distasteful thing that dared challenge her authority She was quite obviously offended by the fact that I came over to the 15 item or less self checkout line when I had 20 items in my cart, and didn't care that all eight self-checkout lines were empty, and literally stood in the way of my cart to block me from getting to any of the registers. I went back to the line where I was originally waiting, and saw that there was still no movement at all... so I decided to abandon my cart, leaving the perishables to spoil, and drove home; knowing that I would never return to this particular WinCo again. I love this place! They have everything! Groceries, meats, kitchen gadgets and organization storages to hair clips! I mean everything. We go here specifically for their sourdough bread. Some days they have the garlic sourdough bread. Great for grilled cheese making that my kids love so much! We also love their bulk section. They have rice, beans, candies, flour, already made gravy mix, pancake mix, chocolates. You name it they have it. It's a ten minute walk from the front door of my house, this location is uber-convinient for me. Love to get subs and fries from the back of the store deli counter. The old style barrels are always a plus. Wish the self check out counters were open 24 hours a day like the business. Did some late night shopping on 02/11/25 and I had a very disappointing experience at Winco supermarket, primarily due to an encounter with an employee named Lynette. My friend and I had divided our items and were planning to pay separately, which is something we do frequently. However, Lynette insisted that we get a separate cart, despite us explaining that the way we were handling more efficient due to us doing two dif paymen option. She was very demanding, and when we continued to explain our reasoning, she became frustrated and said "i dont got time for this". To make matters worse, after we insisted on sticking with our method, she proceeded to talk negatively about us to another customer within earshot. This was incredibly unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I expect employees to be respectful and accommodating, but Lynette's behavior fell short of basic customer service standards. I hope Winco addresses this issue to ensure that future customers do not have similar negative experiences. read more

The location did have a lot of great prices on products. They even include a visual of pricing from nearby stores for the consumer to compare with. The downside is that they do not accept credit cards whatsoever. Although when you look up the location, it does say credit cards are accepted. They are not.
