    Under $10 deal!

This market has a good selection of food, a Deli, Bakery, an entire Beauty/Health Aisle, Frozen food section with a variety of selection for your budget! I went here just to buy some snacks but ended buying other things that were great deals.

Hand sanitizer stations at the entrance is appreciated. It's a nice store. Cash and debit card are the payment options. Each time I've been here it appears to be well organized and well kept.

What does WinCo means... A great shopping deals with options galore! I remember when I visited my bestie in Oregon and this was one of her favorite place to shop as she took me here to make some yummy home cook meal and even back then noticed the prices here are amazing and browsing here today don't even notice any price difference from years back. After shopping at Trader Joe's we were still in need for some water as we're just visiting but buying bottle water throughout the days can get quite expensive and since it's right across from TJ's I just had to see if they have exactly what we're looking for. As we browsed and searched and see a huge bulk items as well the whole market layout is quite impressive though not familiar of it all was very confusing trying to find water lol! Finally finding the aisle noticed it was all small specific bottled water and the large was only distilled..sigh! As we were so close to buy a huge pack of water noticed the water filling station. Arctic Mountain dispenser uses reverse osmosis drinking water and it was $0.35 a gallon though we don't have the gallon purchased one for $1.03 and filled it which was just as a bargain. Offering so many other container options as well this was very much worth it and we didn't have to worry about having some water to start our day, a great deal to stay hydrated! Thank you!

I have been shopping groceries on almost all continents of the planet, but North America is the only continent where grocery stores do not plan staffing according to major holidays. So EVERY YEAR before Thanksgiving, you have to wait for almost 1 hour to check out. Winco must be the only ones that dont know that Thanksgiving was coming up, so they could call in more cashiers? The self checkouts are not allowed for those who have more than 10 items, unless you are friends with those who run the store. Not even when there is no line for them! They also have misleading prices on milk, they advertise "$2.34/gallon" but in fine print they admit that they will charge you $3.08 ADDITIONAL for the first two!!!

We didn't want a sit-down restaurant but wanted something with more quality than fast food. Whole Foods Market delivered (not literally). We were impressed when we walked in as this is a large store with a lot of staff, good service, and plenty to offer. The parking lot was rather empty earlier in the morning but less than 45 minutes later when we left, it was rather busy being a Sunday morning. I typically go to other Whole Foods Markets for a few quick items or something specific. There is a huge amount of convention and organic produce, an expanded bakery department with made-in-house bread, a full-service coffee and juice bar, an expanded whole body department with wellness items, a chocolate and cheese department, a curated grocery department with many local items, a full-service seafood counter, a full-service meat counter, an extensive selection of more than MANY wines and local beer options, and a larger prepared foods department with a salad bar, hot bar, fresh pizza, made-to-order sandwiches, and rotisserie chicken. On my most recent visit to Whole Foods Market, my friend and I decided to order deli sandwiches made to-order along with a bag of chips for each of us. They were delicious and less expensive than a meal at many of the nearby restaurants! Amazon Prime members can shop at Whole Foods and take advantage of a number of benefits from discounts on products and in-store sale items, paying in-store with Amazon One or the Amazon app, and return items at the Amazon returns counter in the store (though anyone can do this last one). For more information on in-store benefits for Prime members, visit https://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/amazon. I would strongly recommend this Whole Foods Market to anyone. It's very spacious and quite well-lit. Again, there is plenty to by and see for anyone. I'll certainly be back again (on a future visit to Las Vegas).

It looks like they haven't... they are just quietly existing. This morning I woke up to our two meows both standing by their bowls. We are moving today and were planning on their next meal being at the new place-- but I couldn't stand their sadness! I searched for the earliest opening grocery store and found that Winco is 24 hours. The selection of cat food isn't luxurious but we found something both meows like and the price was identical to Walmart. If you've had ethical issues regarding Walmart, Winco states proudly that they are employee owned. Well that's how I feel about Winco... it's a no frills kind of market with generally decent stuff and I know where everything is and I know and the cashiers know me. Yeah, it's not like Sprouts or Whole Foods, not as many of the same type of an item as Smiths or Albertsons , not nearly as bare bones as Aldi's.... But you know what? It is generally fine for what I need , especially on a quick trip. Yeah, I'm not getting Boarshead deli meat or Sprouts in store sushi... but if I need "routine" groceries like eggs, breads, canned goods and produce, I'm going to go Winco and save a bit. I mean, yeah I have to bag my stuff, dodge the various folks in the parking lot who may be trying to solicit something , there's always ample parking and the hours are great. Just saying, so many people dis Winco just because they can't choose from 18 kinds of olive oil or there are no lobsters swimming in the seafood section and of course, you have to use cash or debit... do people still shop with cash? More do every day after all the rip offs of credit cards

Although Winco officially means Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, and Oregon; the way I see it…read moreWinco means "Winning." At 90,0000 square feet, the Henderson Winco has been winning at pricing and selection since they opened on March 4, 2012. In contrast to local supermarket chains including Walmart Neighborhood Market, Albertson's, and Smith's; Winco does not saturate the market. In Las Vegas there are currently only three WinCo's. With that being the case, I don't visit as much as I would like to. I am impressed by the prices. WinCo's strategy is to keep costs down by passing over advertising and not accepting credit cards to avoid the merchant processing fees. Additionally there is no pharmacy which keeps the overhead down. I feel that the lack of advertising makes Winco unique and creates this mystique. Without advertising telling me what to think about the business, my mind has its own marketing about the supermarket. It kind of reminds me of a 1970s supermarket. The exterior and logo remind me of the long defunct Woolco Department Store. It is a clean brightly lit store with what I consider a modernized version of a 1970s store. I say this in a good way. When I enter the store through The Wall of Savings I am greeted with a brightly lit and clean store surrounded by deals. It is the antithesis of a dingy and cluttered discount supermarket. Throughout the store the shopping experience is great. In the heart of the store, the top shelf is roughly equivalent to the top of my head. This alleviates the situation of having to struggle to reach for something on the top shelf. From shopping here, I noticed something missing in action. That is lock up cases. I did not see one lock up case. That includes health and beauty aids. I am impressed with their selection. They carry brands that I have not seen at other local supermarkets. This includes Shasta soda. My Winco tradition has been to pay 50 cents for a can of Shasta soda at the vestibule. My go-to item at Winco has been the Tastee Choice frozen shrimp dinners. They are delicious , filling, and cost around $4. Throughout the outstanding selection permeates through the fresh areas, the bulk candy, bakery, and aisles throughout the store. The one thing that Winco can improve on is the check out process. It is normal to only have a few lanes open at a time. There could be a wait. To the left of the full-serve checkouts there are a few self checkout terminals. Additionally, although I don't mind, customers have to bag their own orders. As stated earlier, to pass down the savings, Winco does not accept credit cards. The way I see it, Winco means "Winning." When it comes to finding a great selection and prices, I win when I shop at Winco.
