Police called on me ....This is in ALAMOGORDO NEW MEXICO NOT SF Heres the story .. got a text message that my prescription was ready ... i was in Las cruzes as my wife had a heart attack .. she was helicoptered there 3 days before ... it took me a hour and half after that to return home... When i went to pickup my prescription there were 5 people in front of me so waited another 38 minutes in line with only ONE lady to wait on all these people...there was 10 people behind me ..there was ONE person waiting on customers... then finally they opened the second window..waited on the man in front of me .. Then it was my turn ..was told i had to wait 30 minutes for the safe to be opened....i explained i got the text over 2 hours ago .. then the wait in line ..now its almost 3 hours since the text.... i was told to come back in a hour ..as there text messages mean nothing and if i didnt leave they were calling the police .. as i was leaving the store in the parking lot i was surrounded by FOUR police cars...Told to put my hands on the police car... they frisked me for weapons as the pharmacy manager said i threated her ...she never even came to the counter..and i never said anything other then i came for my meds.... they had 8 people behind their counter to help ..yet NONE did ..the store has great staff..but the pharmacy is a joke.. my advice is NEVER get anything there...Wamarts .. Walgreens are much better and customer oriented ... pharmacy manager ...short dark hair .glasses..told me NEVER to return as they dont need my business.. if you want to be frisked and almost arrested DO not complain about waiting ...they will call the police.. i was also warned i was tresspassed so if i return ..i d be arrested.. we used to spend close to 600.00 a month there.. This cakes was ordered 10 days in advance. The writing was wrong and the calls that I received the morning of were unacceptable. The worry of the store not locating the dinosaur packet that I ordered for this cake (well in advance) THE MORNING OF, should never be the customers problem. This is the best pharmacy in town. Yes, you will wait 10 minutes, but they will explain everything to you, and they will have what you need.

For my wedding I looked everywhere for flower prices that would suit our bill and come out perfect. Not only did their flower department take care of it for a great price, but the florist did an absolute stunning job on my bouquet and headdress I asked for. I loved how beautiful she did everything and took the time to make sure it was what I wanted. I still receive complements to this day on the pics and how perfect they look. I moved all my prescriptions here because they participate in the good rx program. BIG mistake. They have two customer service windows but rarely have both staffed. The wait to pick up a prescription has taken as long as 20 minutes and it's not like there aren't others behind the counter that could help. Now they've gotten my profile screwed up which resulted in a big delay getting one of my prescriptions filled. A life threatening situation for me. A second prescription was called in on the 22nd, today is the 26th, and they can't even find the prescription in their "system" with the empty bottle in front of them to reference. This prescription is also one that I shouldn't miss a dose on without serious health risks. I'm going to notify my PCP to move all my prescriptions to Walgreens. I'm so disappointed with the service I received today. I ordered flowers today and had them delivered to my loved one, and Albertsons failed and didn't deliver them! I'm so upset with them! I spent a lot of money and they didn't even have the courtesy to call me and advise me of a delay. I will be calling tomorrow and better get a full refund and I can guarantee this, I will never use this service again! The other issue is I called around 6:30pm and they lady in the floral department said they were heading out for their last deliveries and my order would be to my house shortly, that was now 3 hours ago and still nothing! So many customers weren't wearing masks. I have family members with major health issues, I have to be careful. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable there. When I called to let the manager know that the mask mandate wasn't being enforced, I was told she "couldn't" enforce the mask mandate because it's a HIPPA violation. I explained that a HIPPA violation is where a healthcare professional shares a patient's personal information without the patient's consent. I will be contacting the health department. read more

Your offering of organic produce is marginal. What you have is old and not discounted. No organic hummus. The clerk would not take my Safeway discount card, even though they are both owned by the same Corporation. (I purchased over $200 of groceries). Also, NO Organic Blood Orange Italian Soda????? I give you 2 stars only because I prefer to shop at your store rather than any other in Alamogordo however you are chasing me away. Lowes grocery started this digital coupon I balked and finally did it as you all have done the same. I was able to download and access Lowes grocery app and Lowes Signature app not Albertsons. I have downloaded it I have an account recognized as I am a reward member with you all. The app will not recognize me and constantly asks for me to do a password it recognizes so I changed it more than once still no access because it doesn't recognize my password. After spending way more than enough time and effort I have my husband try same issue. So I then call you complaint line talk to them yesterday morning took my email and phone number assured me I was important and they would get this issue handled and either email or call me........still waiting ‍ I prefer to shop at your store and apparently you don't feel the same. Please don't put a silly comment about you want another chance fix the issue make me feel like you want my money and hold my phone complaint seriously or keep your groceries and plants and I will take my money elsewhere. So far, this store is a joy to shop at. Bright, nice staff, always pleasant to shop in, fresh food, quality produce that doesn't rot in 24hrs like WalMart, FRESH FISH delivered T, Th, Sa. Yes they are higher pricing in many things and certain things like canned goods we try to get the best value which usually Wally World does win on. But what a joy to not have to walk through, around, over mounds of stuff waiting to be stocked like WalMart. Here's the only reason Albertsons hasn't earned that last star yet, it happened last night. We wanted sandwiches on a fresh french baguette. I was sent on the mission to the grocery store, a rarity for me. I'm walking around the bakery and finally ask the young girl behind the counter am I missing where the baguettes are? She comes around the counter and says "Sir, they are suppose to be right here in a basket..." Mind you she's pointing to an empty spot on the ground, nothing is there, not even an empty basket. My question to her "So are you making some more?" It was 5pm, not closing time. Her response "...well no, we're out." And that was that, left me a bit like WTF? Granted, we adjusted, but I didn't expect that from her with every experience being "how can we bend over backwards to help you" So, Albertson's management, hopefully this was a small "glitch" and not the Alamogordo trap/standard since its been about 6mo since you opened. read more

Super impressed with this store! Such a great selection of fruits and veggies as well as vegan and vegetarian meats and cheeses. And the prices are a bargain (compared to KS and many other grocers offering the same products). We made at least six friends on our whirlwind pass through the store. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Of course they have the option to input a phone number for a frequent shopper card. We don't have one for this chain and we were in a hurry. I asked them if they had a store card we could use. That confused the checkout girl a bit hit she was willing to ask someone and give it a try. I ended up asking the shipper behind me for her number and it all worked out perfectly. Lovely store. read more

Nice market. Really clean and people there are friendly. Plenty of room between isles. The produce is fresh. Today was the first day of roasting Hatch Green Chilis. They only had hot or mild. We got the mild. Turned out that they must have got them mixed up. The ones we got were really hot but still very good. read more

I like Albertsons but it is completely stupid that they put the grocery pick up on the Starbucks side. Starbucks stays busy, so why not put the grocery pick up on the Southside of the parking lot. read more

Nice new store.... I'm not in love with Walmart, but sorry I can't bring myself to pay more for the same item. We will only be buying the sale items, or comping them at Wallies. Albertson's doesn't comp. There are items we buy at WM that we couldn't find here. As for the price of milk, yes it's $2.99, on sale, reg $3.99 WM is now $2.97 regular price. If you can and want to afford to shop here, enjoy! As for Starbucks... guess different strokes for different folks. Pay more for what? Bitterness? Do not trust the bakery. I ordered a wedding cake. Went to pick it up 2 hours after the "ready by" time. First only gave me the small cake top, then found the rest. At checkout, price was not on box. Even though we were rushed, they required us to go back to bakery to get it priced. We got it all the way to the reception site an hour away, to find that the inscription was not on the cake - it was blank. I called to complain this morning, and the manager was apologetic, and told me to come get a gift card to redeem themselves. $10. Wow. Had I seen the amount before I left I would have thrown it at them. Not sure what I did expect but not that joke. That does not even come close to making it better ... they ruined a wedding cake, sending a run of the mill generic looking cake. To top it off, it was a gay wedding. ...was nice to see Alamogordo get another grocery store, unfortunately Albertson's has fallen down since it arrived. Watch out for the meat and produce, they routinely hide older meat, past sell by date I expect, beneath newer meat. I have also seen where they hide older produce beneath newer fresh produce, cherries, grapes, etc. When i raised the concern with the floor manager, he ushered me away from the customers ears in checkout and then out the door, rather than saying lets go see the problem your talking about and working to rectifying it. No doubt they had much to hide, you could see the nervousness in the Customer Service Clerk and the Manager that was called as I raise the issue. BAD, VERY BAD Management and sooner or later they will make someone sick, if they haven't already. read more

This store was an amazing breath of fresh air when it first opened. They too over the top customer service and assistance to the next level. It's been 3 decades since I was asked if I needed help with my groceries. Bravo! Everywhere you turned there were people there to help you. However, just like all the other businesses that start a new in Alamogordo, they're employed by locals who, unless forced, aren't akin to that whole customer service thing. It is still light years ahead of any alternative within 100 miles, but the shine is tarnished somewhat. What is most frustrating, is in 7 years in Alamogordo, IO have not once been able to complete all of my shopping at one store. One will be out one thing or another that you have to go to Lowe's or Walmart to get. Conversely each store has one this less expensive than the other. Albertson's is tops for produce and meat but you get what you pay for. general groceries/dry goods, you're better off at Walmart or Lowe's. The so called Starbuck outlet is quite a let down although better than driving to Ruidoso or Las Cruces to get your Café-fix. I guess my reason for the low rating is that while Albertsons is THE best option in Alamogordo, that's akin to being the shiniest Ford Pinto. If you go to other states, cities, you can see that while being the best in Alamogordo, doesn't make you the best. read more

Albertson's grocery on MacArthur is a big store with great selection on almost all of the staples for my home. It is big, clean and uncluttered. You can actually move your cart down aisles without running into other buyers. read more

We are soon coming up on the one year anniversary of the opening of Albertsons Market here in Alamogordo and I am so glad we are. I have thoroughly enjoyed this last year having a wonderful alternative to the few other stores here. The meats and produce there are of very good quality, and they have a wide selection of unique as well as expected items throughout the store. I look forward to the ad each week just to see what's offered on sale and I am usually not disappointed with at least one item that I need at a significantly lower price. I also appreciate that my child can get a piece of fruit (apple, orange, or banana) on the house to munch on each time we go in to shop. It is always clean and the parking is very manageable and the employees and management are always helpful if I have any issue, which has been but rarely. I am also glad that it's closer to my side of town than the alternatives. Even though Alamogordo is not that big and you can usually traverse it's width or length within 10 or 15 minutes, it's nice not having to by being able to go just a few blocks to shop. I am so thankful to the powers that be that the way was made for this store to come here. read more
