    A #31.

If you are anywhere near Alamagordo, you MUST stop! My hubs and I road trip a lot, eating everything along the way. This is now the Top Stop for a sandwich for us. Number One!

The bread was really good and soft. I think that the bread is the highlight of the sandwich. I had a meatball sub, and it was pretty good. The inside of the place looked really clean, which is definitely a plus. They have a really large menu and many options. I should have tried a cold-cut sandwich, but warm sounded good with it being cold outside. Business was steady, so it must be a favorite for the area. The employees were kind, and they also have a large parking lot.

It's December 23rd and I assumed that all the local businesses would pack up for the season. We in fact tried several places beforehand (closed), but were out of luck. DH found Brown Bag and a full parking lot at three in the afternoon told us all we needed to know. After wrangling parking, we joined the fray. I truly envied the woman leaving with four (4) five-foot sandwiches tucked under her arm. The counter service was so fast and efficient as to be breath-taking. As in you need to have your order ready to place similar to Katz's in NYC. My chicken club was delish and the warmth of the chilies stayed with me for a while. So will the memory of this great lunch.

Came here for a quick lunch and I got a turkey and ham sandwich with coleslaw on it. It was okay, but the bread started to get soggy pretty quickly. The price was reasonable at least. There was a bit of a line and the service was a little slow.

    Roast beef sub

Decent sandwich and sub shop when compared to others across the country. For Alamogordo it is possibly your only place for a normal deli sandwich and sub given the extremely limited options in this area. Place was clean, bread was fresh and all meats cheeses for both of my sandwiches were good. I got a Reuben to eat there and a roast beef sub to go. Price wasn't too bad and the staff was super nice.

For what it was, I loved it great little place to get a sandwich and byNew York standards. We love our sandwiches in our delis. It was good. They even had a salad. I completely finished had refills on your soft drinks and plenty of parking

Stopppppppppppp! I want more! I went twice in less than 24 hours if that is any indication of my enthusiasm of Brown Bag Deli. They make it look easy but if it actually was more places would have a functional, delicious deli and they don't. Both my sandwiches the #31 and #27 the next day were served hot on request, fat, stacked, melty, and delicious! Service was efficient, kind and prompt both days I visited. To put the cherries on top of an already perfect cake they have a self serve banana pepper and pickle bar to add any extras to your sandwiches or just to munch while you wait. BBD has a tender retro-y interior and decor and live, happy, plants. When I see happy plants in a restaurant it is a sign for me that they also pay attention to their food. I will be back every time I visit Alamogordo for the rest of my life. Bless you Brown Bag Deli

The brown bag deli is like a store deli, but it's a restaurant. The ordering process is very quick and efficient. They have a large variety of meat to choose from. My hot pastrami sandwich came with a toasted roll and it was delicious!

This place is OK. Frankly, so are most sandwich shops. I did not see a huge difference between Brown Bag's offerings and Subway: except they had potato salad and slaw, which were generic, and available across the street at Albertsons What I expected? A New York style sandwich: huge and overflowing with "Ultimate " ingredients. What I got: average size, average sliced chicken, melted cheese and chili pepper. No music.

This rating is for The Arcade Dungeon located next door to the Pizza Mill & Sub Factory…read more My family and I visited this arcade for the first time this evening. After we ate our yummy food order, we decided to play some games before heading home. It's summertime, why not? Well, as my husband and son enter, they are approached by the co-manager of the arcade to ask for quarters to play. He states that the games are to be handled with care. They are not to be "banged on." Ok. Noted. As I walk in with my 6 year old son, we begin playing TNMT, and I notice he is standing behind me, but he doesn't say anything, he just monitors us as we are the only two customers in the arcade. As we move to the pinball machines, we played one or two before we are approached at the Jurassic World machine. Our son was playing on that one while I finished up with one next to him. The level of excitement is drained from all of us as he states to my son, "you cannot hit the buttons so hard, you will break them." We stated, this was his first time playing these machines. "You still can't beat the buttons that loudly, you will break my machine." Umm. It's a pinball machine, aren't we supposed to play with the buttons on the side of the machine? I'm pretty sure all of these machines make this noise when a customer is playing them?? Like what? We clearly were not playing on them that hard people. It is not like we were punching the buttons, the glass, or attempting to break the machines or even yelling; we were having fun, or so we thought. Also, as an owner, if you don't want your collection to be used by customers, why open an arcade if the customers are expected to softly play your games? Like I don't even know what he means by that? Softly is petting a kitten, I mean That's what I think of when I need to play softly? Plus, inside the restaurant it states " the money that is spent in the arcade goes right back to the arcade for maintenance for the games." If you don't want "kids or anyone touching your machines, you need to establish an "age limit," and encourage parents to be with their children. Have them sign a waiver so that you can make things even more complicated for your customers that just want to play some cool games. BTW. You gave a great collection, but maybe you should consider storing them in a man cave or a garage if you want them to stay in prestige condition. Also, I'm sure being glued to your phone was the main reason why you approached us, we clearly bothered you by coming in the door. The look you gave me when I asked for $5 in quarters. Cringe. Also, attempting to sell a pinball machine for 3500.00, and having a sorry attitude towards your everyday customers is NOT GOOD BUSINESS. But, best of luck to you dude. Our entire family is very disappointed on how this arcade is managed. We will never feel welcomed to this arcade again.

The special sprite is like Sonic's ocean water...only better. Add vanilla and blueberries to the sprite and coconut. There were so many blueberries and they came through the straw making it even more fun to drink. It was refreshing and delicious. The service was great and they were super quick. The manager incorrectly stated that service dogs must wear a vest to be recognized as service animals and demanded that we provide a "service animal certificate." We were then told that such certificates were not valid and that service animals must be registered in New Mexico before being allowed into the restaurant. None of these statements are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service dogs are not required to wear vests, carry certificates, or be registered with any state in order to access public accommodations. It is deeply concerning that a manager responsible for serving the public appears to have such a poor understanding of federal disability law. The experience was embarrassing, discriminatory, and completely unnecessary. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States with my service dogs and have never been treated this way. I strongly encourage management to educate staff on ADA requirements before another customer is subjected to the same treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who relies on a service animal.
