This went very well until the prescriptions began to be filled too soon for me. I was running out of space in my freezer to store them. I called and asked that they not fill the prescription until I needed it and to call prior to filling it. This was the process to be followed. It happened once. After they went back to how they handled it prior which i was not happy with. I have requested on multiple occasions to have a prescription transferred to another pharmacy and it still has not been transferred. I have spoken to the owner, the pharmacist and employees. The initial conversation I was informed there were no more refills. They would obtain a new prescription and transfer it. The prescriptions stopped coming. Then without warning they began again. A week prior to needing the medication refilled I found they had filled it and dropped it on my front bench without informing me. I called again and asked that they transfer the prescription. I was assured the transfer would occur. Two weeks prior to needing the medication refilled I found they had filled it and dropped it on my front porch without informing me. I informed him what had been happening. I again asked that they transfer the prescription. I was assured the transfer would occur. This happened again so I called and spoke to the pharmacist. I told her that I would be filing a complaint about the handling of this one prescription. She told me this would be addressed. I had called the new pharmacy to request they fill the prescription. I was informed they did not have it and they would call Beach Terrance to get it transferred. I had now no more of one of my medications. I had now been out of the medication for 3 days. I called Beach Terrance and asked if they still had the prescription. I was told they did. I asked that they fill it and them transfer it. I was told they would do so. I just checked after 3 weeks and found this still has not been transferred. I will call again tomorrow and speak to them once more. I have enough on hand now to make it to my next appointment with the prescribing Doctor. If this has not been transferred I will request a new prescription.

He said he already had it so I switched all my meds over and now I have a concierge pharmacist in Tim who texts me when I'm due for refills and he contacts and renews them as well in cases where I don't have to call them or go in myself. I also talk to him before I consult any doctors and he gives me the list of meds for that condition that would not interact negatively with what I'm already taking. Switching over to Tim has been one of the best decisions I've ever made, no exaggeration. CVS had bought BetteRx and neither BetteRx nor CVS bothered to inform me. I don't like CVS because I had previously complained to CVS customer service on a couple of occasions (different complaints) and never got a response. I tried the Savon pharmacy in the Albertson store and could not be happier. The workers there are phenomenal, especially Cindy and Dawn. These gals are fantastic! Very friendly and always remember me. I drop my prescription orders off when I arrive at the store and they are filled while I shop. They send me a text when the prescription is ready. I dropped off orders for several drugs on my last visit and was surprised that they had processed 6 Rx's in about 20 minutes. They also send you reminder texts when its time to refill. This is very useful to me as I take so many meds that I can't keep track of them all. To use a cliché, try it, you'll like it!
