The customer service I received from their night manager today (07/19/25) was very poor. He was condescending and rude. All I wanted was to know how to get a credit for the rotten lettuce I received from their drive-up and go department. Nice store inventory wise, but both times I've been it's been a bit of a sketchy crowd shopping there. Last week when I went, when I got to my car I saw some people running out of the store with baskets. Hopped in the getaway car and threw the baskets out the window when they reached the light to exit the parking lot. I know this happens a lot at grocery stores, I used to work at an Albertsons.. but this particular location just seems a bit sketchier than others. Just got home to find that both meat items I bought were 3 days past expiration.. Not on sale or even bargain area.. This after I told the manager that a bakery item in the refrigerated case where the bakery need to get for you was 2 days past expiration.. I am not even sure why I asked about the cupcake I guess it looked a little droopy.. Glad I did and checked everything else when I got home.. Popped in to grab some beer for the weekend. I've been into the Battle Ground Albertsons recently and they had a good selection of brewskies and was hoping these guys did too since I was in the area. As far as selection I was pleased with this one too. Some pretty good sales and a great selection of local IPA's. I'd give 5 stars but those roundabout cash registers are stupid! Just a quick stop this evening to buy some milk, and then up front to check out. Amazing, but there was no one waiting in line at any of the registers. As I set my purchase on the belt, the unsmiling young lady at the register asked me, "Have you tried the self-check?" I confess that her question puzzled me, but I answered honestly, "Yes, I have, but it's bad for my health; they never seem to work right and my blood pressure goes through the roof." On the way out, my mind rolled around in search of "the right way", the "friendly, customer service way" to interpret her question. Search failed. read more

The place is always clean and nice to walk in. However if you come here you will wait in line for a long time. I live here near and it's the only reason I ever come in here. There's always never more than one single lane open. And I notice a significant price increase in everything! If you are doing a full grocery shop, expect to spend $150 more at this store read more

The price is outstanding, try them you won't be disappointed, Sherry does exactly what I needed a soccer ball . Then on top of that I used the Deli for a tray and they did fabulous job. Come here if you'd like some overpriced products that amount to sometimes 5X or more what you would pay for the exact same thing most places elsewhere. The location of this store is convenient for someone living in Salmon Creek but given the competition nearby I'd go elsewhere because not only is this place super expensive (the produce just isn't as Fresh as Freddie's or as affordable as Winco - you think there'd maybe be a healthy in between but I think it's just spendy due to the location?), but I'm sad to say I've had certain staff members treat me rudely here to top it all off. I shop here for a few reasons. One, it's close by. But so are Fred Meyer, Chuck's, and Safeway. Fred Meyer is fine but always packed. Safeway is ok too. Chuck's you can forget about because there is NEVER a place to park. My Albertsons might not have the most amazing selection but they are convenient and the employees are wonderful. Do they always have specialty items that I might need? No, but for 90% of my shopping I'll take great customer service, ease of parking, and proximity any day. read more

Okay, so the place is somewhat outdated and it's not the most attractive grocery store in town. But what it lacks in cosmetic appeal, it absolutely makes up for in customer service. The staff in every department of the store have been nothing short of exceptional. We've shopped here for quite some time now, and though the selection isn't always as robust as other locations, it is perfect for the essentials of every day life. Also, hit up Cheap Chicken Monday. It is seriously some of the best chicken we've ever had. So good in fact that they were asked to train the staff at Safeway locations in their specific recipe and cooking methods, and now most of the local Safeway stores have gone that route as well. read more

We did a quick late night trip to the store this evening. It was a toss up between Albertsons and Safefway. Both myself and my best friend deemed it the BEST idea to go to Albertsons. Their customer service was far above and beyond what we had expected. Lisa Church was funny, kind, and helpful. We asked a lot of her and she had nothing but enthusiasm (even if we were there 5 minutes prior to losing) to help with all our wishes. Both of us left (we live super close to this Albertsons and a nearby Safeway) saying we will be coming back to Albertsons over Safeway due to Lisa's great attitude!! read more

Albertsons service, A thing of the past. I remember the day the Albertsons on 20th Ave Salmon Creek Vancouver, WA, had great customer service,and it was not very long ago. In the past they were friendly and would take every other stores coupon, and I understand everyone has had to tighten the budget and I am OK with that. Last night I was there and I had a manufactures coupon and they would not take it because it was not in their system and it was not from their store. I am not as frustrated about the coupon as I am the way I was treated. Stores spit out manufactures coupons all the time and any store takes them as long as they say on them "manufactures coupon" The manager was rude!!!! and she could have taken it as I did spend $100 and it was not like I came in buying a $3 item with a $2 off coupon, but she would not. She said she would talk to the person that takes care of the coupons. Not good enough, even Walmart takes them, not that I am saying I comparing them nor do I shop at Walmart very much, but I never though I would see the day I had better service the last time I was at Walmart than my local Albertsons. I pay higher prices at Albertsons for better service, and the service has been going away and so have I been. No Matter I am a Target shopper most of the time anyway. Shame on you Albertsons read more
