When I took it back to see if they could help me replace it, the sales lady brought out an even more expensive center diamond and told me they would not do anything for me because it looked like one of my prongs was caught on something and was not in place. Causing my stone to fall out. Within 3 months! Am I not suppose to wear my ring or what, and I'm suppose to replace it with a more expensive diamond so that I can lose it too. I am very disappointed in Meierotto Jewelers. I wish I had never gone there. I did though because I had bought a ring at their original location in the Kmart parking lot back in 1984, in Gladstone and I never lost that diamond. Are the rings just not made as well now as they used to be or did I go to the wrong Jeweler? Again, sorry I went there!

Buyer beware before purchasing…read more There is no return policy (only trade in) even if the purchase is less than 24 hrs. Its is not posted anywhere in the store or on the receipt. Its was not mentioned to me nor did I ask. And expect "price gouging" to be in effect. Upon my request to return my necklace, I was told first thing, you agreed to pay the amount. And yes I did. But they were not interested in why I wanted to return it, (I guess because it didn't matter). It was at least $500 more than The highest priced exact same thing, I could find on the Internet from other retailers. She told me if I paid cash, i could save tax. And as I was leaving to get the cash, she added $50 to the total she told be for the necklace -But after i returned and asked her why, she removed the $50. (she didnt bother to explain why when I asked ). Apparently they do not understand the value of a satisfied "returning"customer or dont care. I guess the word "traders" in there Business name should have tipped me off.
