Friendly staff Super clean sites and bathrooms! Highly recommend them if traveling through! Love how dog friendly they are too, we even had a site with our own private dog run which was awesome

Great park! Lots to do! Good for a family with kids stoping for a night or two. Staff is helpful! The area around the park could be rated unsafe. But we felt completely safe inside

I want to give this place five stars but I just can't. The sites are super clean and private. There is a pool, hotel tub, mini golf, so many amenities!! Bill checked us in and was very nice. Considering the private water spout, nice showers and bathrooms, and electrical charging station, we had everything that we needed. My one complaint is that the tent sites are just so close to the highway the road noise is impossible. I'm sure it's fine in an RV or one of the cabins, but it made it super difficult to sleep.

Clean campgrounds. Great wi-fi. Gave us a pull through with a personal pet run for our dog. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Had a good night stay at this location. Thanks!

While staying in Albuquerque, NM we stayed here. It was a great place. It was clean, easy to get in and out and the staff was great. When y'all need to stay in Albuquerque try this place out.

    Swimming time! Cold and refreshing!!

Clean & Welcoming. Of the 3 KOA's we've stayed at this ranks highest. Pool, showers, and grounds are clean. I would recommend this facility and would have no problem staying again.

This is a nice large KOA campground with some really nice easy drive through spots or cabins. We pulled off and spent the night to try this one out. It was easy to get a spot, the bathrooms where clean and the shower water was nice and hot too

Trashy spot to look at when you pay $105 a nite

Just really pricey for what it is. Was given the wrong gate code and had to wait for a while.

August 22, 2026 - Cedar Crest, NM…read more I've stayed at this RV park a few times over the years, and I keep coming back because I enjoy its rustic charm. Surrounded by hills and offering some nice views, it has a relaxed, old-fashioned feel that I really like. There are quite a few long-term RVers, but we stayed in the short-term section and had most of it to ourselves. You can hear some road noise from Highway 14, although it wasn't too bothersome. There's also a gravel road that runs past the park. It doesn't get much traffic, but the cars and trucks that do use it tend to drive pretty fast, kicking up quite a bit of dust. I like the overall feel and location of this park. Each night we were there, we were lucky enough to see lightning and hear some spectacular, rolling thunder--an added bonus to our stay. The park is right along the Turquoise Trail and is conveniently located for exploring Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Madrid, and Sandia Crest. The restrooms and showers are older and rustic. The showers use tokens, and the staff provides some tokens when you check in. Overall, this is a rustic RV park with plenty of character. It may not have all the modern amenities of a newer resort-style park, but I enjoy its peaceful setting, great location, and laid-back atmosphere. I'm sure I'll stay here again.

Super nice staff. Cute cabins, solar powered fairy lamps on walk way. And to top it all off one of the owners gave me flowers! There's a grocery store about a mile down, and same with a coffee shop. I'd def recommend!

The park is next to the casino and hotel and there's a free shuttle that will take you back and forth if you want. Just call them and they will come and get you. While we haven't used the showers; we did use the laundry today and it was $2.50 per load to wash and dry. Everything worked great. The main reception building is awesome with games, fireplace and seating, plus a kitchen if you're here with a group. There is a tiny exercise room too! There is a pickleball court as well as sand volleyball and a putting green. So much to do here! WiFi was pretty sad at 2-3Mb so don't expect to do great things. We had a great experience both times. The amenities are really excellent. Bathrooms were clean and showers were great. They just recently opened the pool year-round and the kids had a fun time splashing around. The kids also enjoyed the small playground after a day in the truck. The owner and staff are extremely nice and take great pride in the place. They texted us in the afternoon of our first stay to coordinate our arrival. When we got there, they explained that since we have a truck camper they put us in a spot close to the facilities and away from the road. They knew we would appreciate the quiet and the shorter walk to the bathrooms. Very thoughtful! The afternoon of our trip back through, they texted us to let us know that we had the same site with the same access code for that evening. It was seamless. The location is also great. It is close to I-40 with easy on and off. It feels safe behind locked gates and thick walls. Noise at night was minimal, considering the urban location. Just across the main road, there are many options to eat, which was great when we didn't feel like cooking. Multiple gas stations are also close. There is a truck stop nearby and one of the nights there were many big rigs parked on the road, but they made no difference to the experience of staying on the property. We only saw a few other people during our stays. They were friendly and everyone just kept to themselves. It was tough to judge how many residents are long-term versus short-term, but I did notice some turnover between our Saturday and Wednesday stays. Overall, I strongly recommend Birdie if you need a place to stay in Albuquerque! We will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.
