The cabin is adorable, suited our basic needs for the night, and added to our cross country road trip adventure. It's really a glorified wood shed with electric heat and air conditioning(pray the electric does not go out in town like it did for us), complete with a queen bed, a couch, and a table. RV park has quite a few long term residents, a community two stall bathroom with two pay showers and laundry. We were there in a snowstorm and it would have been nice to have a shovel to clear our porch or make a walking path down to restrooms. Codes to get into cabin and bathroom were way too long to remember. Location was fantastic close to town and highway. I have mixed reviews on this RV park. We stayed one night and were disappointed with our space. It was full of old cigarette butts and weeds. There are 2 dog runs. Both trashcans were full of dog poop and hadn't been emptied in a while. On the other hand, the laundry room and shower area was very clean and looked like it had been remodeled recently. They also added a dog wash tub and new fencing around one of the dog runs. It also looked like they are adding new picnic tables. So I think the owners are trying to improve the park. read more

We were there for one night on trip home to Arizona. Basically clean. Lots of long term rv'ers, site 40 was not level. Laundry clean. Showers clean. Wish showers were separate from toliets AND VERY UNACCEPTABLE that Laundry/Showers were closed for cleaning from 6:00AM to 8:00 AM when people are getting up in the morning. Otherwise, not bad RV campground. read more

We spent two weeks here while visiting family. We were in a 22' travel trailer. The property is laid out to fit a large number of campers. Some areas had a few trees to help cast shade and add a bit of privacy, but that is not consistent through the park. Our spot was completely gravel. This is not unreasonable and we came to spend time in New Mexico not relax in an RV park. The park did have several amenities that were surprising. They retain a BBQ food truck on the property. It was pretty good and we ate there several times. A large inflatable jump pad was available to the kids as well. They enjoyed it once or twice. The laundry and shared restrooms were ok. Customer service was fantastic. We felt welcomed and that our business was appreciated. The price was reasonable. read more

Clean safe park with barbecue food truck ! All the staff was friendly just whatever you do don't walk on the grass next to the playground the groundskeeper was not thrilled that my toddler and i walked through the grass . If you are looking for a dump station when traveling through the Albuquerque area on I-40, the Route 66 RV Park in Edgewood, NM has a dump station that has plenty of room for a big rig to park temporarily at the dump station, and also plenty of room for big rigs to drive through to their camp locations while your rig is parked at the dump station. The RV park is about a mile off I-40 on old Route 66. The dump station area is fairly flat for good drainage of black and grey tanks, and the dump opening is slightly below the road level, so there are no issues with low trailer drains being able to drain properly. When entering the RV park, check in at the tiny office in the middle of the park near the entrance. Take the first left turn when coming into the park so that the dump station will be on your driver's side. Drive to the north area of the property. The trash dumpster is just to the west of the dump station. The dump fee was $15 on 7/17/2023. We have not stayed at this RV park, but have used the dump station quite a few times over the years. The RV park has been upgraded and enlarged over the last few years, and appears to be a nice location for short term and long term guests. The management team has been very helpful and friendly to us over years that we have utilized their facilities. read more

We just stopped by for the night while headed over to California. I'm so glad we found this place on the way! The lady that checked us in was a sweetheart and gave great customer service. She brought us to a large spot to park our RV. It was clean, level and had full hookups. We asked about a place to walk to or eat and she suggested a delivery pizza place (which was delicious). The night was quiet and a perfect spot to star gaze. Next time we drive through we will definitely stay here again! read more

I called to book a 3 night stay at this place approximately 2 months prior to arrival. Office staff collected the full amount due of $111.19 over the phone and everything seemed to be fine. We arrived at the campground and parked next to the tiny office to check-in. I walked inside and immediately noticed three female employees. A younger woman was sitting at the desk and another person with tattoos was standing next to her. A third woman was bellowing at the top of her lungs about lord knows what. Good heavens! They ended up giving us information on local places of interest though so that was appreciated. Then we were off to full hookup full through site #32. The gravel site was 100+ feet long (wow!) but sadly it was not level. We had to use several blocks before dropping our jacks. Water at the site was horribly hard and it tasted awful. A bizarre event proceeded to unfold the next day. Two park employees drove up in a golf cart and informed my wife that we were scheduled to check out that afternoon, and our credit card would be charged if we intended to stay longer. What in the world? I walked outside my RV and informed them that we had already paid for 3 days. One employee reiterated that we were on the checkout list and that she would have to call their manager for clarification. Wow...get your act together folks! We've traveled all over the country as full-time RVers for the past 2+ years while staying in 100+ campgrounds. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Just stunning levels of incompetence! Free campground wifi occasionally worked at the site but it was not great. My AT&T phone had 2 bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 4 bars. The 24 digital cable channels were nice. Did not use the campground showers or laundry. Private bathrooms looked ok. Onsite Red Arrow BBQ truck offers sandwiches and chicken wings. No ribs or dinners. We ordered a 12 boneless wing special and it was decent but a bit pricey. read more

Received wonderful service and kindness from Tracy who checked us in and got us settled. She was really willing to go above and beyond to make our stay a positive one which was really appreciated. We stayed here for a night on our way to our destination. The staff is nothing but friendly and helpful. Made us feel very welcome. It's a simple spot but the bathrooms were sparkling clean and there is laundry, FHU, the spaces are not too small however the park wasn't full so we had a space free on both sides. 5 stars for cleanliness and great customer service. read more

$35 for FHU. Right off the highway, go left under the highway, left at the first stoplight and then it's on your left about a mile up. You stop at the front and friendly staff guide you to your site (office is in trailer to your left). Gravel/dirt road and sites- might be a problem in rainy season but we were there in dry weather. Sites are pretty level. Laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers and two separate bathroom/showers in a central location. The laundry/bathroom facility is newly built, well lit and clean. We only stayed one weeknight and it was quiet. There are small trees there, but there's no real shade and no stopping the wind when it gets going. You're above the freeway and a valley so the view was nice. read more

In my 12 years of RVing this is by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with someone at the RV park. I called ahead to make reservations because I knew we had a long day and late night of traveling ahead due to a deadline we had to meet. I spoke to the manager on the phone and told her we had at least 6 hours of travel time according to Google. It was 5 pm. Usually RV parks leave information on the door for late check in but she said she would have to take us to our site and to call. We arrived after midnight and she rudely. proceeded to lecture me about how rude it was to arrive so late and that I should have called. As any RVer knows, you can't always count on having phone service.. The RV park is not that big and having done this once or twice we would have found our spot. We left because it is unacceptable for someone to be so rude to anyone. My recommendation is to drive a little farther and find a nicer RV park with friendly people. read more
