I got a cab at 1:15am at the airport. The driver told me that the base rate from the airport is $15 for up to 4 miles, then it goes up by the mile from there. I was going to ask around among the other companies and the driver told me that the airport rates are the same for all other companies at the airport. After a long day of travel delays I was exhausted and desperately wanted to get home so I paid $15 for a ride that was under a mile. When I called the company the next day to ask their rates I was told $10. Clearly they lie and do what they can to financially exploit travel weary people. I am usually fairly savvy and am rather embarrassed that I fell prey to this greedy company. Save your money and please do not give Green Cab any of it. Go with a company that has transparent rates that don't change when the driver feels that they can get away with wringing more from you in moments of need. If you are using cash make sure they are using some sort of meter that you can see and that they operate while you are getting a ride. Insist on a receipt so that you have documentation of what you paid. I am assuming that my money went directly into that drivers pocket, tax free. I'd give Green Cab negative stars if I could, but this will have to suffice. read more

I needed a ride from airport (flight cancelled) and the Green Taxi was immediately available. Driver was accurate on destination and arrived in excellent time, good driving, pleasant experience. Pricing was comparable to ride share without having to wait. read more

Was in s pinch, no Uber available. When I requested Green Cab, explained to Driver that the Fare would be round trip of no more than 20 miles, and was quoted $2.60/mile...did the Math, and agreed. Route mind you on my GPS, Driver didn't know how to enter it on his own...With my directions no problem getting to destination. Returning to the start point, he decides to take a different route, oookay.... End of Trip. He actually thought he'd receive price on meter, which was no less than $35.- OVER what it should have been. Suspect he had meter running driving to pick me up, and Driver is perhaps Owner as well. I sold my car decades ago, thinking if I need to go somewhere I'd go with a driving friend, take Suntran (which has improved greatly), or maybe take a taxi. After all that time, today I finally had reason to use Albuquerque Green Cab. I had a medical appointment and I knew several days ahead that the weather might be too bad to take 2 buses and walk a lot (all to the Center and back), so I called Green Cab ahead of time and made an appointment. Ricardo picked me up right on time and drove smoothly to the Medical Center, proving that he knew it better than I did (since I usually just walked). I told him I didn't know when my appointment would be over (it's a busy place), but he gave me his card and asked me to call, he would come if he was in a good position. This worked out very well, and I got home before the weather became dangerous (I'd still be on a bus if I'd taken that option). I highly recommend Albuquerque Green Cab and Ricardo, and I hope the other employees of that company are as efficient and thoughtful as Ricardo is! read more

I requested a ride for my husband at Presbyterian Hospital to be picked up and take home, the were very accommodating and he was home in about 10-15 minutes. I will use there service again if we need a cab ride. read more

Most City Cab Companies run 24/7, especially if they advertise airport service. When called at 3am for a 1.5 mile fare from a hotel to the airport, to catch a redeye flight, Green's phone robo-answered in fast speaking Spanish. No human ever answered. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

Dishonest and a ripoff. When I arrived at the Albuquerque train station a Green Cab with Rigo the driver was there so my husband and I got in to go to our hotel. He took us on a long ride even getting on the expressway and we ended up being charged $23 dollars. When we took a different cab from our hotel back to the train station it was only $10 and was a short drive a few streets from the station. read more

I had a dental appointment this morning and I had scheduled Uber but they cancelled right when the driver was to pick me up. I immediately contacted this company for taxi service and Galdino was able to pick me up immediately. I made it to my appointment and he even came back to get me when I was done. Ok, I am LOATH to write bad review, because it's just not my personality... But... here goes. My husband was flying back to Seattle this morning and needed to be at the airport by 7:50 am 6/25. He decided to take a cab, because he's a really nice guy and didn't want to make me change my schedule. So, the night before, at about 8:00 pm he calls ABQ Green Cab Co. They have a great website, and he calls and makes a reservation to get a pick up from the house to the Airport at 7:30 am on 6/26. Conversation at 8:00 pm goes like this: Green Cab: Green Cab Co M: Hello, I need a cab to the airport at 7:30 am tomorrow. Green Cab: We can do that, address? M: My address is ... Green Cab: See you tomorrow. M: Thank You Conversation he has at 7:40 am this morning: Green Cab: Hello M: Is this ABQ Green Cab? Green Cab: Yes M: I had made a reservation last night for a ride to the Airport. Are you on your way? Green Cab: What's you Address? M: My address is... Green Cab: We have no record of you. Sorry M: OK, any thoughts. Green Cab: Nope. So, at 7:40 am this morning I am shucking into my jeans and flying out the door to get my cutie pie to the Airport. At 12:30 a.m. I scheduled a cab to pick me up at my house at 4:30 a.m. At 4:35 I called the cab company as Green Cab had not arrived. The dispatcher told me his driver fell asleep. A few minutes later, the driver called to confirm my address. Dispatch gave him the wrong address. The driver, "Frankie's Taxi," showed up at 4:55 and drove me to the airport. The ride was uncomfortable as he slammed the gas at starts and slammed the brake at stops. When I asked he said he takes credit cards. When we reached the airport at 5:01 fory 5:55 flight he ran my card for the $15.94 fare. When I signed the receipt I asked why the total showed up as $17.04. "Credit card fee." Then he acted troubled and befuddled when I asked for a receipt. "No tip?" He asked. Are you kidding me? I nearly missed my flight. Here's a tip: Don't fall asleep when you have a scheduled fare and disclose your credit card fee in advance. I've had good experience with Green Cab's Rod Flash, but Frankie's Taxi will cause me to never use Green Cab again. read more

Called Abq Green for a person that needed a cab. I figured that I'd try the new kids on the block. Boy was I mistaken. I called & the person on the phone sounded like he was bothered by my phone call. I gave him the address & he said 45 minutes then hung up. At that, I called back & cancelled & told the female that answered the phone this time that I'll call someone else. She made excuses, I hate excuses! I called Yellow & 15 minutes later the yellow taxi rolled up & everyone was happy. Never again will I call for Green. read more

I was in Albuquerque for the Hot Air Balloon Festival and, luckily, I found ABQ Green Cab. I was incredibly fortunate to get 2 great drivers, Pat Salazar & Chris Jackson! Chris Jackson dropped me off at the Balloon Fiesta. When the festival ended, they were not letting any taxis in to pick up people until all the parking lots were empty which was alarming. I called Chris and he said he knew a back way to get in & will come and get me. He parked his cab a mile away & ran all the way to get me, and by that time, there were 2 elderly ladies who were also stranded and cold. I have never seen customer service like I saw that night! Above and Beyond!!! All 3 of us were so grateful for Chris' outstanding service!!! If you are in Albuquerque and need a cab, this is the only cab service you need to call.... but be sure to ask for Chris or Pat.... they will take care of you like family. read more

He also said he didnt care and HUNG UP! all i asked was inwas paying in cash and about how much it would be! He said its not his responsibility and said its whatever it is at the end of the ride and hung up before i could even give him my address!!!! Terrible service. We arrived in ABQ at 1:30 am. Mistakenly tried to get in a cab that a lady hailed. When she asked us to go ahead and join her (we were literally going across the street from where she was headed) the driver argued and was angry with her (very aggressive) said he was charging us separately and refused to turn on the meter. So-$20 later for a ride about a mile total (walking with luggage in 19 degrees to the hotel wasn't an option) we all got to our respective destinations. First, driver, if you hate people, maybe taxi driving is not for you. Second, I believe that the meter is required and regulated. Third, we get that this wasn't exactly a long ride and would have gladly tipped you in kind. read more

I can not believe this cab company. We used them a few times and finaly on the day my b.f. calls with 30 minutes to get to work the dispach says it will a 20 minute wait well a whole hour later he calls them to finde out no cab is on the way. Thank you yellow cab for picking up where they left off.no i will not be using them and no i will not reffer any friends. Btw we used them arty least 3x a week. My friends and I were going to a performance at Popejoy Hall but didn't want to drive. We called Green Cab. The driver seemed to not understand English. He handed us his phone to type in Popejoy Hall. He did get us there but we were apprehensive as to whether we would make it to the performance on time. read more

Worst cab driver! He had a foul attitude and acted like he didn't want us in his car. He slammed the trunk after we loaded our own luggage. He drove like a maniac and very aggressively. The worst ever to take the cab, the cab driver in Cab 23 was very aggressive and rude and was driving like a maniac, it felt like that he didn't wan't me riding on his cab, also I felt very uncomfortable during my ride, when I got to my arriving point he just ripped me off and made me broke with no money left so I felt very pissed off and I will never take green cab again because of this mediocre driver!!! read more

My husband and I needed a cab in ABQ. We were waiting for one hour for an other cab company that never showed up. Green cab showed up on time took us the our hotel by the airport and provided excellent service. I recommend this company even if it does not come first on your internet search. read more

I gave Green Cab a shot and my experience with them started nice but quickly went down hill. First my husband went grocery shopping and called a cab from the stores customer service counter and waited 2 hours. They failed to mentioned unless you have a cell phone they do not dispatch your call. Second was when I was ill and need a ride home. I reserved the cab at 12:30 for a 5:00 pm pick up. Cab was not there and the dispatcher stated no one had accepted the call but they would send someone. 30 min later cab showed. Today was the 3rd strike. Called because I needed to go to urgent care and was told 30-40 min. After 45 min I called back and was told it had not been dispatched and needed for cabs to clear. I called a competitor who was there in 15 min. I was at my destination for 15 min before green can said a driver was outside, almost 2 hours later and I called back to cancel when the other cab showed up. And I had a cell phone. not worth it. read more

I had called to get a cab ride from Green Cab. The ratings didn't seem too high for their service, but they were said to be reasonably low priced. The cabbie got to my location pretty quick, calling in to check on me while he was on the way, and to tell me he would be right there. I unfortunately had to cancel the ride, as my original ride had finally called to say they were actually coming to get me, from a not so good area. I felt bad for canceling the cab ride, as the cabbie was not too happy I had to cancel the service right as he had gotten to my location. The person who had taken my call for the cab called me back to see why I had canceled the cab ride as well, and so late. I feel bad I had to, after their faster and better than expected service. But I apologized to both, and gave the cabbie five bucks for at least getting to me, I hope I wasn't too much trouble. I would use their service again if needed. read more

I'm glad I switch from yellow cab to Green cab.. WAY BETTER! The dispatch isn't rude and drivers are very friendly, always on time or at least 5 mins early. No complaints here. I use them almost every other day. read more
