    Some of the flavor options

I grew up in NWA but now live on the west coast. Every time I come home to visit, a stop at Alchemy is a must! My sister and I love coming here to pick out flavors for our box--we always get the new flavors plus some of our favorites. My go-to flavors are the red velvet, lemon, and raspberry. My sister's favorites are the pink champagne and salted caramel. The new ones we tried today were lemon blueberry and key lime. They all have perfect texture, the flavors are always spot on, and these macarons far exceed any other macarons we've tried anywhere else! Can't say enough good things about this place. They are able to be successful by only having macarons and tea because they are THAT good. I don't usually get their tea because I frequently visit Savoy down the street, but they have many tea options available to choose from. We usually get a box of 6 or 12, but they also do cute little gift boxes that hold 2 macarons. Make sure to come here whenever you're in Fayetteville! (They have a location in Rogers as well, but this location is our favorite)

Perfect crisp with a slight chew, Macaroons here are some of the best that I've had in the US! Big fan of the coffee and the honey lavender flavored macaroons! A bit pricey for a college town - but i guess you need a place that can weed away all the riff-raff of the bar scenes nearby.

Yum yum and yum. Neat little place just off the square. We bought 12 macaroons and they were very tasty. My favorite was the salted Carmel.

This is the only macaron store in the country I'll drive 10 hours to visit. Actually, 9 hours to visit my sister in Rogers, but the extra hour or so to Fayetteville is well worth the trip! Macarons seem to be trendy these days, but if you go searching for the perfect bite (like me), you'll find that most of the patisseries or bakeries that sell them fly them in frozen, thaw them out and then sell them as their own. Alchemy does not, and you can taste it in every bite - so delicious! I'll keep visiting every time I make the trek from Illinois. One of my favorite stops in AR!

My son is trying to become a macaroon aficionado and Alchemy is favorite location. Great tip from the staff about a gently tart passion fruit flavor. His all-time favorite now. Love seeing new flavors each time is rewarding. "It is fancy and clean" - Caleb

They are expensive but it's worth it! Amazing flavors and the staff is always friendly. 15 percent off discounts on Wednesday for students! Overall this is the best place to get a macaron in northwest Arkansas

Awesome macaroon choices. Stop here if you're walking around downtown and need a light dessert. Sometimes during football season Saturday's they might sell out, so just get there early! They are good about posting new flavors online so check there!

My first ever macaron. So delicious. Crisp and chewy. They have a huge selection. Guaranteed to have at least one you are craving. The lavender with earl grey tea was amazing. If you are less adventurous the lemon was pure bliss. Pricey but if you've ever researched how to make them you would agree it's worth it. Huge selection of loose tea. I tried a sample of the orange spice they had out and it was so flavorful. My daughter is a macron guru and she said they have more filling than most. I guess that could be a plus or minus.

Very well designed shop with delicious fresh baked (from scratch!) Macarons and a variety of well brewed teas! Everything they do, they do well. You will not be disappointed!

Such a cute store. I will 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Fayetteville! The Macarons are naturally GF for those with allergies. They are probably the best Macaron I have ever had. Light and fluffy. Not overly sweet. Price is great. The tea was a magical experience getting to watch it be prepared.

So like good tourists, we did You walk into the store and it's not what you expect and there is no seating. They do have water that you can drink but this is definitely a grab and go place. That doesn't mean that you will be rushed however as I went here twice within the same weekend and took my time both times. MJ's serves macarons, which I believe they are best known for. They also have cakes in jars, cookie sandwiches, brownie cookie, and ice cream. Of the macarons, my favorite was the fig and honey ones though they were all delicious. I also got the chocolate chip cookie cream sandwich and it was SO YUMMY plus big enough to nibble on the rest of the weekend. The brownie cookie was delicious with some milk once I got back to our cabin. I did not try the ice cream so that is a next trip item! The store owner, which I think may be the husband of the baker(??- maybe just a worker), was so kind, patient, and considerate. I bought the macrons for my husband as a take-home treat. Once a man behind the counter knew that that's what I was doing with them, he took the extra time to put them in a box that would keep them safe from crumbling, as well as putting that small box in the Ziploc bag to keep them as fresh as possible because it would be a day before I got back home. They did last all the way back to Tahlequah, OK for my husband and I to enjoy them together and start planning our adventure to Eureka Springs! I just wanted to specifically call out this kind gesture because it really made me wish that they were local to me as I would be using them for any of my events and gatherings. So be sure to visit them when you go, as good Fortune should follow good people! 100% recommend MJ's and look forward to seeing what they do next when I go back to Eureka Springs!

Then for the shrinkflation side of it you used to get a nice big clear cup filled with ice cream, mini chocolate bars, cookie dough, and it was worth every penny. What I got the other day was a semi warm waffle with a little squirt of chocolate ice cream, one mini Hershey chocolate bar in a small cardboard boat for $9.99.

So when the cashier asked if I wanted to add imperial rolls, I was like sure I'd like pork please, I asked if there was anything else the recommended for me, The cashier made a mention that they had really good Brussels sprouts and so I said let's add that too! I added a Lychee Sangria to top my solo dinner, was handed a cup and told to sit anywhere I'd like and the food would be out shortly. I think I was a little taken back by my $54 solo tab for dinner but was hangry, The food came out shortly and it was 3 separate dishes. :O Imperial rolls were small but crispy and good. Brussels sprouts were indeed good but had alittle too much glaze dressing for me. The bowl came out and it was lacking on the brisket meat. It was filled with tons of vermicelli noodles! It did end up being way too much food for me. I ended up taking some Togo and mixed in the Brussels with the vermicelli salad bowl to take to the hotel for a late night snack. I would come back to try other things and maybe avoid ordering too much and ask if what is being suggested is too much for one person. The vibe inside is pretty chill. Ample parking outside.

The line was quite long, and I didn't want to pay any more to add espresso, on top of my $48 bill, especially when it should've been nicely balanced from the start. I mean, just look at the color! I also got the iced lemon poppy matcha; it was refreshing and decent. What I will give credit for: the breakfast sandwich and carrot bread (not pictured) were delicious. And I can really appreciate coffee shops that make their own syrups and craft creative combinations with them, like wildflower-lavender or lemon poppy.
