Believe me when I tell you that I was nervous as hell going outside my regular guy, but he would not do my sternum, so I had to find someone else. I sent Brian a few ideas that I liked and told him to use those for inspiration- I wanted the artists true work and always give my artist free range to play with my concept. Brian came up with a lotus flower idea and added some details that i liked, and he came up with something that matched my energy and meaning behind the tattoo. The sternum is not an easy tattoo to sit through, but he did his best to distract me and keep me on the table as long as possible- got it done in 2 sessions with his help. When she came out to even look at my bellybutton I said if I didn't have the right anatomy to pierce it I would get something else so she wouldn't feel like she had too, then when I showed her she got annoyed and said I couldn't get the one I wanted and I could only get the floating navel which is fine but then she got snappy when my boyfriend tried to hold my hand for a second because he thought she was piercing me and then when she went to pierce me she didn't even tell me when she was piercing me she just stuck the needle in. I knew when she did it that it felt a little tight but I just thought it was because she had just done it but after a couple hours i realized how much it was pinching my skin together and how much it hurt, I couldn't walk, bend over, or do anything bc of how tiny the piercing was. Not to mention she didn't use a clamp so she pierced way too much skin. I went to two different tattoo shops to try and get it changed out and every time I said I went to liquid chaos and every time I said that they said " oh you went to Kayla" the one shop told me that they had many customers come in unhappy because of how Kayla pierced them. I was extremely nervous but Wizz made sure I didn't make a run for it. There's a small restroom in the back if u need to change clothes or obviously use it - clean. There was a total of 3 people in our and I was second; before starting he wanted to know where I wanted and to make sure I was comfortable. Please note the minimum price is $65... So make sure you get a size which equal up to that value and color included. He played music, cracker jokes, and OMG he was some nice eye candy to look at as well (yummy). To start out with, I am reviewing their piercing, mainly; I do have friends who have had tattoos…read moredone here, but they can speak for themselves. I've been going to Happy for piercings for about 4 years. He has done my septum, my tongue and my VCH. I have other piercings (nose, nipples, labret, ears) so I am measuring my experience against those experiences. Happy pierced my septum in 2008; it was $25. He was friendly and so was his wife, and they put me at ease since I had come in alone. That is one of the best things about this shop - you can come in alone without feeling awkward or jittery, because Happy and his wife will immediately put you at ease. I never had any problems with my septum. He pierced my tongue a year later, in 2009 (also $25), and again I went in alone. This time he began to pierce my tongue and then had to start over because I flinched; to me, that is a testament to his honesty and work that he would tell me hey, wait, lets start over. I know of several people who have had piercings done at other places, placed incorrectly, and one has to wonder if at any time the piercer saw that something was not right and said nothing in order to save face. But Happy is not like that, and he quickly righted things. I never had any problems with my tongue. The last time that I went to Happy was in December of 2011. This time I brought my sister and I got my hood pierced (for $50). I was a bit nervous about this piercing, especially because of the area. But Happy and his wife again put me at ease. The piercing itself took a second, there was barely any pain, and healed in under a week. I recommend Happy all the time.

I chose three piercings, because I was so comfortable with her. She explained the process thoroughly reassuring me there would be no surprises. I loved the breathing technique that she talked me through, it helped me immensely as I have anxiety with needles. The ambience was very artistic, the leather couches and the TV is a nice comfortable way to wait your turn if it is busy. I would definitely recommend this place!!

He had our art for well over a month and we had to send it multiple times. We get there and he hadn't even drawn hers up, so he spent almost two hours on that and only one of us got our ink after devoting an entire day and tons of gas money to this inconsiderate and unprepared artist. I absolutely love Kayla Jade and her style. She's the sweetest person and a absolute awesome artist. I am currently working to get in for another one. I would definitely recommend all of the artists.
