You're probably not going to get a walk in tattoo done here, but walk in to talk to or consult with an artist ahead of time to be sure. The shop itself is in a good location with a decent amount of parking, and inside it is inspiring. There are lots of plants and beautiful art. It is body-positive and woman-positive with more than one woman tattoo artist in residence. The tattoo work areas are separated with short walls and actual doors so privacy is controlled. It also allows each artist to have her own space full of the energy she wants. This part of the shop's design really adds to the experience of being worked on there. It allows the creative energy to bubble around without feeling intrusive or exposed while being worked on. It can also shift during a session - door open or closed. I have two fairly large, artist-original pieces done by Autum McCallister (Lethal Lady). Her work is magical! You can find it on Instagram or Facebook, or stop in to see her. She also does commission pieces (your design). Autum's eye for color, shape, and layout makes for truly gorgeous body art. When I have requested (small) changes to a design, she is thoughtful and takes her time to work through what will work well with the piece and fits with what I like. She'll also make some changes as she works and sees the piece come to life on your body. To top it off, she has a great sense of humor, and we have fun conversations with a lot of laughter. Though I haven't worked with any other artists at this shop, I have listened to them work and seen some of it. Stop in with your idea, and whoever you talk to will either be a good choice or tell you who the right person for your piece would be.

When she came out to even look at my bellybutton I said if I didn't have the right anatomy to pierce it I would get something else so she wouldn't feel like she had too, then when I showed her she got annoyed and said I couldn't get the one I wanted and I could only get the floating navel which is fine but then she got snappy when my boyfriend tried to hold my hand for a second because he thought she was piercing me and then when she went to pierce me she didn't even tell me when she was piercing me she just stuck the needle in. I knew when she did it that it felt a little tight but I just thought it was because she had just done it but after a couple hours i realized how much it was pinching my skin together and how much it hurt, I couldn't walk, bend over, or do anything bc of how tiny the piercing was. Not to mention she didn't use a clamp so she pierced way too much skin. I went to two different tattoo shops to try and get it changed out and every time I said I went to liquid chaos and every time I said that they said " oh you went to Kayla" the one shop told me that they had many customers come in unhappy because of how Kayla pierced them. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Believe me when I tell you that I was nervous as hell going outside my regular guy, but he would not do my sternum, so I had to find someone else. I sent Brian a few ideas that I liked and told him to use those for inspiration- I wanted the artists true work and always give my artist free range to play with my concept. Brian came up with a lotus flower idea and added some details that i liked, and he came up with something that matched my energy and meaning behind the tattoo. The sternum is not an easy tattoo to sit through, but he did his best to distract me and keep me on the table as long as possible- got it done in 2 sessions with his help. Prices are very reasonable & Brians personality and energy was amazing. Go check him out on IG and consider him for your next piece!

That is one of the best things about this shop - you can come in alone without feeling awkward or jittery, because Happy and his wife will immediately put you at ease. I never had any problems with my septum. He pierced my tongue a year later, in 2009 (also $25), and again I went in alone. This time he began to pierce my tongue and then had to start over because I flinched; to me, that is a testament to his honesty and work that he would tell me hey, wait, lets start over. I know of several people who have had piercings done at other places, placed incorrectly, and one has to wonder if at any time the piercer saw that something was not right and said nothing in order to save face. But Happy is not like that, and he quickly righted things. I never had any problems with my tongue. The last time that I went to Happy was in December of 2011. This time I brought my sister and I got my hood pierced (for $50). I was a bit nervous about this piercing, especially because of the area. But Happy and his wife again put me at ease. The piercing itself took a second, there was barely any pain, and healed in under a week. I recommend Happy all the time.

I've got to give big kudos to my piercer -Below the Knee at Baby Dolls Tattoo. He is totally cool. I have quite a few piercings, but he is by far the absolute best. Everyone in the shop is friendly and makes you feel at ease. The body jewelry selection is awesome - and the prices are great. I always make sure to tip for this excellent service. If you have to travel to get their services....it's worth it. I've gotten piercings in Michigan, LA, Las Vegas and ATL. Travel to Taylor folks, you'll be glad you did!!!!!!!!!! read more

Words can not discribe the passion, talent, and dedacation, of the the only artist I will allow tatt me....tears are in my eyes for a dedacation tatt of my grandfather that raised me, that I can to DAN REDDING with..I had 5 things I had to incorporate in this tatt for my grandpa and mines bond and he nailed it!!!! I was extremely nervous but Wizz made sure I didn't make a run for it. There's a small restroom in the back if u need to change clothes or obviously use it - clean. There was a total of 3 people in our and I was second; before starting he wanted to know where I wanted and to make sure I was comfortable. Please note the minimum price is $65... So make sure you get a size which equal up to that value and color included. He played music, cracker jokes, and OMG he was some nice eye candy to look at as well (yummy). I know I wasn't cool at all because I couldn't even look at it as he was tattoo'n - YES IM A BIG BABY but I didn't cry. My tattoo is a paw print with a heart around it on my thigh. (I've joined the dark side now)
