I haven't even got pierced here yet and I already would highly recommended this place. I scheduled piercings for me and my friends. We all filled out the information and consent form online. When I got there, the piercer informed me that I was too close to a recent surgery to get pierced due to my body still healing and potential infection. He immediately rescheduled me for enough time out from my surgery to come back. My friend was still able to get pierced and watching the process of him explaining all the sterilization he was doing and the aftercare she should follow was very reassuring. Rich stole a $100 piece of jewelry from my daughter. My daughters body rejected a piercing he gave her and we went in to have him remove it and get his advice on if she needed antibiotics or anything. He removed it and said he would hold onto the jewelry until she came back to get it redone. Well, my daughter decided she didn't want to get it redone several months later because she was going back and forth on it. We called and spoke to the woman who makes the appointments and she said she would speak to Rich to find the jewelry. We have texted and left voicemails over the last couple months to no response. All we wanted was the jewelry for my daughter to keep as a memento and they stole it. I have my receipts for the piercing and the jewelry as well as the paperwork for both appointments. Do not go to this place for any piercings. read more

I typically do not leave reviews but after receiving services here I feel obligated to. The prices are outrageous for mediocre service. they do not accurately explain their prices upfront. They charge for the piercing and the jewelry. It cost me $200 to get my nipples pierced and this was not explained to me until after the se was completed. I originally was under the impression that I would be paying $100 which I thought was pricy but I was okay with it. This is complete price gouging. definitely will not be back read more

I got a quick tattoo here on Valentine's Day by Steve. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice and made the process fun and easy. The store itself is clean and stylish and Steve's room followed suit. His work was thoughtful and quick and the end result was exactly what I wanted. He provided suggestions as needed but didn't try to change the tattoo at all. His room was filled with upcoming tattoos that he freehand drew for clients. I was seriously impressed and slightly disappointed that I opted for a small quote, lol. I had a great experience with Rich. it was my first piercing (a PA) and he walked me through every step. He explained the aftercare and what to expect in the healing process in great detail. Rich was super professional while making me feel comfortable at the same time. (As comfortable as he could anyhow...I was still really nervous.) The piercing itself went great. I barely felt the dreaded receiving tube going in. The needle going in was one big fast flash and then it was over. Kind of a rush actually. Minimal pain thereafter. Happy to say I'm healing up just fine, maybe even a bit ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Rich and the staff at Iconic. Also, if you want more info about piercing, get Elayne Angel's book "The Piercing Bible." It's a great resource and Elayne is a great person. She does online consultations for genital piercings that are well worth the minimal cost. read more

In a nutshell, AVOID at all costs. Iconic Tattoo is overhyped and expensive. The staff were elitist, rigid, and condescending. We've been to plenty of other tattoo/piercing establishments and have never encountered such misanthropic and inflexible treatment. This business will not survive if they continue with poor customer service and attitudes. The details: Regarding piercings, they are VERY EXPENSIVE and you need to put down a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT just to get an appointment. The scheduling person was pretty condescending and acted hauty like I was lucky to be getting an appointment at all. She also wouldn't allow me to come in early to shop for my studs and said I'd have plenty of time to shop at my appointment. So I trusted her and was excited for my appointment. Entering the building is very regulated. Only 1 person is allowed to enter. Clients are made to feel unwelcome. My partner had an appointment immediately after me but had to wait outside. (We are both double vaccinated, live together and wore masks etc). Unfortunately they have a very LIMITED SELECTION of jewelry. I couldn't find anything that I liked. I wanted a simple gold 1-2 mm cz stud. Paul said they could iodize a titanium stud to turn it yellow (but it was an ugly yellow and did not look gold at all). He was also aloof and rigid. He acted like I was a burden to him. It was very strange. I decided to NOT get the piercing because nothing was my style and I didn't want to be stuck with something expensive that I didn't like. When I asked if my deposit could be applied to my partner getting an extra service (in addition to what she was already scheduled for) Paul said NO. They would NOT REFUND MY DEPOSIT even though I was able to fill my appointment time with an extra service for my partner right then and there. Needless to say it was a very unpleasant experience. I generally write only positive reviews. In this case, I absolutely could not. We won't be back and would never recommend. read more

I went with a friend so that she could get her belly button pierced. When in the lobby, we were looking at different styles of rings, and she asked me what type of threading I had on mine. I looked down to check, slightly unscrewing the top to see. The man helping us proceeded to ask me not to "play with or take out my jewelry in the middle of the lobby" commenting on spreading germs and making it seem like I was a dirty person. He asked me to hold out my hands and sprayed me with a disinfectant. Who would do something like that! Honestly! It was so rude and made me feel so unwelcome. There are better ways to go about a situation like this. Overall, the environment was clean and professional, and the people seemed to know what they were talking about, but I would not go back after being treated this way. Unacceptable. read more

They were so nice and it's the first time I had a professional piercing done because my first lobe piercing was done at claire's and they explained to me why that's actually not a good idea and how because of the type of gun they use , it caused longer healing time. I have been here a few times. I have gotten two piercings and one tattoo. I will definitely go back for more. Rich did my conch and forward helix (I will eventually add a photo). He is very knowledgable and takes what he does very seriously. He did a great job, and thus far has been the easiest healing I've had from a piercing. My favorite band is Tool and I decided for my first tattoo I wanted artwork from the album Aenima. I saw Andrea Burg's artwork online and she had a lot of eyes in her pieces. I decided to chat with her about it. She didn't really know the band, but she was so excited to get the opportunity to tattoo and eye. It was a very difficult spot for to tattoo, the back of the neck. I was nervous that it would effect the quality, but it is by far the best Aenima tattoo I have seen. She did so good on the detailing and the transition from the eye to my skin. I have seen many of these tattoos on Google and they are often not finished well. I will definitely ask her to design another and have her be able to tattoo her original work in the future. Great shop. I read a lot of good reviews here before visiting the store. I took the appointment with Andrea and gave the picture I wanted to get tattooed. I emailed three times asking for the sketch between my five week appointment period. Andrea NEVER sent any sketch until five hours before the actual tattoo appointment. To top it all, she sketched a completely different picture and told me it is the artist interpretation. I wonder if everyone gets a permanent tattoo on their body of the artist's interpretation. I was so upset about the whole thing and my excitement of getting a tattoo has gone to zero. And, to add to the whole thing, ICONIC tattoo management told me they won't refund the deposit.
