The campground has lots of mature trees and the sites are nicely spaced from each other. There is a large clubhouse where we were able to play games or do puzzles which was great. They have a pool and hot tub that we were also able to enjoy. The campground is gated and located on a working ranch. I love seeing the longhorn cows! We've taken our dogs on a few walks on the marked trails there and they enjoyed themselves. The trails are a bit rugged so i highly recommend hiking boots. As of now Lake Medina is mostly dry and i look for the day when its back.

It is good for short-term ONLY. YES cable and internet. YES all inclusive rent. BUT POOR communication, cockroaches (you wake up to "Texas Edition" sized bug and their poop on your counter..see pics) hard water, weed smoking vandals who busted the windows out below us. Pictures say it ALL. Condoms strewn about outside and trash piled HIGH!. Speaking of high...the drugs being done there left me fearful to go outside. :/ We have a dog and are clean...BUT tenants dump UNBAGGED dog feces into the receptacle. I found this place online and it seemed nice BUT read reviews on Wilshire Woods apartments. Slovenly Suites are located within the complex. When I contacted the "boss-lady" Jessica Magder to tell her about the vandals who were renting below...AND getting STONED like Biblical whores...NOTHING! Guess their money is still green! She was frequently evasive. Had to buy our own roach traps. Which we have a baby under 1, so pest control could not spray due to her age. Our account was charged TWICE during Mother's Day weekend...which left us in a bind. Randy the "accountant" finally got it refunded...after a week of haggling. They did so graciously give us back our pet deposit and a few extra bones. I'm just appalled by how basic and brand new people can act when it comes to being a SLUM lord. It's sad and deplorable that they charge the amount of money that they do. Other children live in the complex, and no amount of cleaning would keep roaches (a known health risk for Asthma) out. Neighbors leave trash outside their door and it's asking for vermin. One louse almost fell in my husbands taco. Not exactly the barbacoa he was looking for. LOL! :P Had to laugh to keep from crying. I did cry several times while there! Glad to be in my new home. Very grateful to be in a safe neighborhood free of squalor and pestilence!

Not only are…read morethey reasonably priced, they're located a little outside of Alamo Heights, which is a really nice area--and known to be very pricey to live. The suites were very homey--didn't feel like I was staying in an uncomfortable hotel. Nicely furnished, and had a comfy bed. Kitchen was stocked up on anything you needed to cook--which was nice not having to make last minute runs to the store for a strainer or can opener, or anything else you wouldn't think to bring along. I had a couple issues while there, one with internet connection and another with parking, which were resolved pretty much right away--so really weren't much of an issue at all. Other than that, everything was good! The staff was super helpful with anything I needed, and any issues I had were addressed right away. Totally made for a stress-free, enjoyable stay. I would DEFINETLY recommend it, especially if you want to avoid paying an outrageous amount for anywhere else in the area!

House was small but spacious with heating and air conditioning. Kitchen was stocked with a few items you might need, and a few snacks in their welcome basket. Kitchen was super clean and everything was very well organized. Bedroom was spacious and clean with a soothing decor. Bed was so comfortable that you just sink in for a comfortable nights sleep. Woke up rested and refreshed. Bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries and laundry detergent for washer which is located in the big restroom and didn't feel crowded. Living room was clean and spacious for gathering and enjoying a quiet evening or a movie night. Back yard was well maintained and clean with a grassy area and private parking. Front porch had outdoor seating for enjoying your morning cup of coffee or tea. Area was quiet and we felt very safe staying here. Would definitely recommend this awesomely cute casita if you're in the San Antonio area. Price was very reasonable for all the amenities and living space you're getting. Go Wharton Dock Road not English Crossing. And do not pull in to what one address calls an "Information Center"- keep going straight and stay to the right and you will come to the entrance gates. This resort is nothing more then some land that belongs to someone out in thr middle of nowhere that has what looks like nice villas on the property but nothing more then a shell of a building. My husband and a group of guys went for a guy's weekend. No one checked them in or took them to their rooms they just guessed basedon the info they were given when making the reservations. The website says that the barn bunk house in which they stayed has a full kitchen that it comes with all cooking utensils and eating utensils. That is false! The stove was broke, there were only three plates(six guys) the couple of pots or pans they did have were dirty. Worst of all, it got down to 24* that night and of all things, the heater was broken. The guys all slept in their jeans and coats. My husband came home sick a well as a couple others! I have heard this place is extremely shady! No hot water, cable or Internet problems, and lots more! Do not stay here! They will con you out of your money!
