I asked if their calls were recorded; she said yes. So I told her to go listen to the call where she sold me the package -- January 8th, 2025 between 5-6 PM. She said she and her manager would review it and call me back. They never did. No apology. No explanation. No solution. They also refused to share the recording. I asked if I'd be able to hear it once they found it. She said no. At this point it's pretty clear: do not get tattoo removal here. You do get a proper, full consultation. I got lip fillers, make sure you get a real extensive spot test for the numbing lotions because they use a combination and you could be allergic to one of them and develop contact dermatitis, it's how I ended up with a terrible reaction that didn't go away for weeks. If saving up for fillers, make sure you save an extra $500 because if your filler migrates they charge you that much to dissolve it. If it migrates even a little bit make sure you go tell them right away because unfortunately, I didn't. Mine created a tiny ball under my lip that was not immediately that noticeable so I put it off... big mistake. I moved away and by the time I came back to the city and could get it re-done they said that actually I cannot be sure what it is because it might have been an allergy or something I ate. Naturally, that felt pretty disrespectful. I'm telling you it was the filler, and anyone that has spent time in the esthetics industry, especially esthetic medicine, can tell you that's a ball of filler. Furthermore, what allergic reaction lasts this long? No. What you deposited in my mouth moved to the wrong place... it's okay, it happens... but charging one $500 to fix it is out of this world. Finally, and actually most importantly, they do use tablets to sign forms and all that, PLEASE watch that they're not touching them with gloves on and then touch your medications and injectables or your face!!! This place works with a referral system, and after my friend referred me, I was able to have eight laser sessions for free. Semper uses a Candela laser machine, which, according to the laser techs, after finishing the treatment, no more hair will grow in the area. Before my first session, I was taught about how the machine works, and how it affects the growth of my hair. This was really helpful in understanding the treatment and made me less nervous during my first session. I normally go every six weeks, and they have appointments ALL day! I recently had to switch to going during nights because of work and they have appointments late in the day (around 7:30). I am only in my fourth session, and I have seen less growth in the area where I'm doing the treatment, there is some hair still growing. Hopefully by the time I finish all the sessions I'll see a difference.

On the day of my appointment, I left work early to arrive on time for my 4:00 PM appointment. After checking in, I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time without anyone updating me or letting me know the technician was running behind. I waited for a simple acknowledgment, but it never came. When the technician finally brought me back, the treatment felt noticeably rushed compared to my previous laser experiences. The session was significantly more painful than normal, and I wasn't informed that a higher setting would be used beforehand. I also left covered in gel after being told it wouldn't get on my clothes, but it ended up getting all over both me and my shirt. The most unprofessional part happened at checkout. The front desk staff seemed unsure how to process my appointment, and after several minutes of figuring out the system, they had to manually enter my credit card information because there was no card reader. Before handing over my card, I specifically confirmed the price. They verbally confirmed the amount I had originally been quoted. However, after leaving, I noticed my card had been charged more than that amount. When I went back inside to ask about it, the receptionist simply said, "The price must have gone up." If the price had increased, that should have been disclosed before my card was charged. Charging a customer more than the amount you just verbally confirmed, without informing them beforehand, is completely unacceptable. Mistakes happen, and I understand businesses run behind sometimes. However, between the unexplained 30-minute delay, the rushed treatment, the disorganized checkout process, and the undisclosed price increase, this was easily the least professional laser experience I've had. Management responded to Google review offering to talk with me privately and told me to reach out. I reached out to them once again detailing my experience. They never bothered to respond. Just a further example of how crazy unprofessional this place is. Avoid at all costs.

On my second visit I was informed that the Kendall office was closing and therefore I would have to start going to the one at Doral. I was always treated well by the employee who took care of my treatment at the Doral clinic, but on my 5th visit the employee was not there, so the owner (clinical director) took her place that day. The experience was completely different, the laser machine had never been applied so intensely and after the 1st to 2nd minute the owner (who just so happens to be RN) stopped the treatment informing me that my skin was having a reaction and that I should go home and schedule another visit. When I arrived home I realized I had suffered a deep burn above my upper lip, caused by the totally irresponsible usage of the laser machine. I called the clinic the next day informing the owner that I had suffered an intense skin burn from the laser. I spent over 3 months sending her pictures of the burnt area and requesting help, as I always insisted it was a burn she would disagree calling it a minor scab. Making a long story short I requested a full refund due to all the inconveniences I had, such as, not being able to get any sun for over 3 months (affecting my work), having a massive and embarrassing burn scar with pus dripping over my lips everywhere I went. After 3 months of many calls and speaking directly with the owner, she finally agreed that she was responsible for the recklessness of the way she handled the laser machine. But, she would not agree on giving me a full refund, she gave me a partial refund for the visits I had not used. Due to my busy life and work I did not have many other options, so I ended up accepting the partial refund, upon arriving at the office was informed I had to sign a letter of agreement that I would not take further actions (court). We'll all I can say is that after 5 treatments and the terrible scar I now carry, the laser hair treatment from this clinic made ZERO difference removing my facial hair. It has all grown back, the only place it does not grow is on the new scar I now carry.
