UPDATE: Thamara called me on November 21st about the review I left. The call made no sense because she offered zero resolution. She opened by asking why I wrote the review... even though the entire reason is spelled out clearly in it. Then she denied ever telling me the package she sold me was unlimited. I asked if their calls were recorded; she said yes. So I told her to go listen to the call where she sold me the package -- January 8th, 2025 between 5-6 PM. She said she and her manager would review it and call me back. They never did. No apology. No explanation. No solution. They also refused to share the recording. I asked if I'd be able to hear it once they found it. She said no. At this point it's pretty clear: do not get tattoo removal here. I'm beyond annoyed. A few days ago, I called LaserAway to ask how many units of Xeomin I had left. The person on the phone told me I had 25 units. I thought that sounded high and even asked, "Are you sure?" She said, "Yep, 25 left." Since she confirmed, I decided to book, planning on using up my remaining units. Fast-forward to today: I left work early, arrived early, and as soon as the esthetician -- who was pregnant, very sweet, and clearly the only one who knew what she was doing -- looked at my chart, she saw the real number: 7 units, not 25. She also didn't know whether my past treatments were Botox or Xeomin, and the front desk didn't know either. Total confusion. This isn't the first time I've had problems here. Last year, I showed up for an appointment at opening time, the time listed on their website, on Yelp, and on their own door, and they weren't open. I waited an hour, but they never opened. When I finally got an answer later, I was told that because they didn't have an appointment until later that morning, they decided not to come in at all. That's not how you run a business, especially one that advertises walk-ins. I've been a client for years, but between the repeated misinformation, lack of communication, and general disorganization, I'm done. The representative I spoke with was extremely rude, couldn't answer a basic questions, spoke o er me, clearly had no interest in helping, and to make things worse, they ended the call abruptly and hung up on me. LaserAway is the best. I love how their machine blows cold air as it lasers so the pain is significantly less. I've had some great results all over my body after several sessions. It's so nice being carefree when putting on shorts or dresses and not needing to worry about hairy legs haha. The downfall of this studio is they constantly change my appointments without calling me. I'll make an appt 6 weeks in advance at a certain time and when I get a confirmation text the week of its at a different time? I'd appreciate if they call me to say they are doing this so I can let them know if I can make it or not. I usually make it for some time after work, and when they change it, they make it in the middle of my workday so obviously I won't be able to make it. The people who work at this location are amazing, but the laser hair service just does not work. I just completed my last LaserAway treatment last week, and after sacrificing nearly two years of being able to be in the sun/wax, I am extremely disappointed with the results. I paid a total of over $8,000 for several packages and eventually signed up for full body laser hair removal, but I still have just as much hair as before I started. On top of that, it has even mildly stimulated growth in some areas. I feel scammed, because the person who sold me on LaserAway on the phone told me she had a similar hair/was the same ethnicity as me, that it worked well on our skin type, and that she was almost completely hairless now. During the treatments there was definitely a reduction, but now that they're done it's back to square one... what a waste of money! Every time I complain to LaserAway, someone tries to sell me a maintenance package, or tells me to get my hormones tested. I did have them tested when I had a physical recently, and everything was fine. After having a very personalized consultation over the phone, I chose to buy 10 sessions of laser tattoo removal. I'm on my second session and for a 1 inch by 1 inch tattoo, the laser session is so much faster than I expected. They provide you with an ice pack to help numb the area at the beginning and give you some petroleum jelly to coat the area in when you leave. Went for the clear and brilliant procedure. Was told over the phone I was a candidate sent a photo and they took my credit card information. They charged me $600 which is a down payment for 3 treatments. I owed another $341 I believe. Initially I was quoted $1200 for 3 treatments upon researching that was extremely overpriced. I spoke to them about that and they did agree to lower the price. Overall The laser treatment absolutely destroyed my skin it's been 8 mos and my skin is still recovering but reacts horribly to any products I put on now . I can no longer use anything on my face but baby soap and cera ve. I did research and saw this lady who had the same problem used a cream for severely injured skin from Bioderma Ciabaccio or something like that. It helped tremendously. My Aesthetician won't touch my face she says I cannot get facials put steam or anything like that on my face. I spoke with the nurse and office manager regarding the state of my face abs they asked for more pictures and offered other services in exchange for the balance left of what I over paid . I agreed because I thought they were trying to work with me. In the end they didn't refund and difference since one treatment was only $499 and I paid $600 . They then flipped the script and said now they charge $599 for a treatment and I'm not entitled to anything back & too bad basically about almost burning the skin off my face. Upon further investigation after the fact (my fault) Everyone is NOT a candidate for this procedure! Age, ethnicity, skin conditions and many other factors play a huge part in successful treatments and these people just want to hustle you into treatments abs take your money regardless of your health and safety.
