This was my first time going to an Aldi. Great small grocery store for staple items at a affordable price. You can be in an out in a short period of time and get food, produce to cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. Very nice alternative to the larger supermarkets. Store was clean and maintained well. 4.3.24 If you have not been to Aldi's you are missing out. The prices are low on quite a few staple items like milk, bread, eggs, fruits and veggies. The store is always clean and tidy. I stopped in here to pick up coffee for my hubby. He loves their dark roast coffee. The gentlemen was nice and friendly. Aldi's also sells other items too. Like home goods, gardening stuff, candles, blankets, etc... The new items come out on Wednesdays so make sure to go on Wednesdays. I will stop at this location again. read more

I LOVE this place! I will say the selection is not huge and not everything is a great deal, but you can definitely save a lot of money shopping here if you do it right! First, the 2 most important things to know are that you need to bring a quarter to have access to a shopping cart (don't worry, you will get it back) and you need to bring your own shopping bags to bag your groceries in after check out. My personal strategy for shopping here is that I make my grocery list and head to Aldi first. I am very aware of what I pay for my standard items at other grocery stores so if I can get it cheaper at Aldi, I get it there. The deals change from week to week and a lot of times i come out of there saving $30-$60 dollars on the same items I'd get elsewhere. We do our monthly shopping here. We manage to get 95% of everything we need each time and top out at MOST $120 bucks for a full cart. It's absolutely amazing. The store is clean and presentation is great. The cashiers are excellent and FAAAAAST! I absolutely LOVE my Aldi! read more

Love shopping here. Quick in and out. Know to bring your own bags and a quarter(you will get back when you put it up) for your cart. I always get my cheese and wine here. Kiddos love the variety of chocolates! There are not a lot of employees but that might be why the prices are so low. A must stop for milk, cheese, cream cheese, bacon, and eggs. Love this store. I have saved an average of about 350 dollars a year during the 2 years that it has been open. The staff is the greatest, always willing to help you. Not like at the HEBs in town where you usually can't find anyone to help you; or if you do, they mostly ignore you. Love their brands. Their brand of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream is better than the original. Their muffins are much cheaper than the other grocery stores and really ten times better. They have just about everything that I use. It is always busy for a reason. What they do, they do better than the competition! read more

Been here several times and prices on some items are good. Had some great promotions when they first opened. The breads are frozen or very cold on the shelf. Need to be careful of the bread molding after you get it home from moisture in plastic wrapper. The big thing is cashiers are in a SUPPER HURRY. One time cashier was throwing the food in ladies basket and she had fruit and things that bruise easily. I think they need to slow down when checking out. This is not California or some other big city where everyone in such a big hurry. Have the cashiers slow down and take care of people's purchases. read more

When we lived in MA, we shopped here every few weeks. So we know the drill, bring a quarter for the shopping carriage, bring your own bags, and be prepared to bag your own groceries. Great savings when we were in Grad School. Selection seems better here in Bryan. Very affordable. We bought a few household staples for only 7 bucks. Only thing- the carts seems pretty wide. I want to compliment the manager of my Aldi here in Bryan, Texas 77802, for keeping his store so clean, well stocked and so pleasant to go to. I am an elderly woman of 84 years and when I first heard that an Aldi would be replacing our friendly local store I was sure that our entire neighborhood would fall apart having heard many bad things about Aldi being a cheap and dirty store. so I did not go for 6 months or more I was afraid of not being well treated. The previous store knew that I was a Heart patient and provided me with a lot of help so I could retain my autonomy. The Manager of my local Aldi is just as helpful I had one of my heart crisis when I went to Aldi once and he noticed that something was wrong and I needed help. With his help I have become a faithful Aldi customer and do ALL my shopping there, including Christmas gifts and Birthday presents because I know that even if I buy lots of stuff I will be helped by the Manager Jason. I am ever grateful. I noticed lately it seems that a new negative attitude is showing up lots of very young and inexperience people are showing up who do not have the courtesy and care for a store located in our neighborhood. I know Jason has trained some very good potential Aldi managers but not everyone is capable to adjust to a small Aldi store. Torn between 2 and 3 stars here. Walked over here on opening day to see what all the fuss was about. Its in the same space previously occupied by Village Foods, and before that Apple Tree. Aldi occupies roughly half the space of those two stores, so it is small, and feels very cramped, especially when it is crowded (as on opening day). The staff are friendly and seem happy working there. They were handing out free shopping bags which was nice. because of the size of the place and the narrow aisles, shopping cart traffic jams should be expected. Its an Aldi, so prices were low, as should be expected. Inventory is very limited. The wine and beer selection is next to non-existent, but there are a few things that someone shopping in an emergency could do fine with. Produce and meats selection are also very limited, but the quality was high (very fresh). I wasn't impressed at first until some German friends of mine suggested I look more carefully. Ans so, because its a German chain, there are interesting German products to be had...some really nice bread from Germany, for example. Lots of dessert type things. At present I see no compelling reason to shop here instead of the nearby HEB which has a larger and better selection, and a much better layout. Not being a poor, the lower prices aren't enough of a draw. I hope it draws people away from HEB so the crowds there thin out a bit. I'll revisit the place when the crowds die down. read more

Don't really have a review but want to ask others about the store. How is their selection of organic produce and meats. Do they carry FRESH GOAT'S MILK, not canned. I can't eat any processed foods since they contain so much sugar. Since I put together an anti-inflammatory diet cutting out all SUGAR, WHEAT GLUTEN and CASEIN (cow's milk)it has stopped about 90% of my pain. I have Fibromyalgia, an auto-immune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis, Scoliosis, Kyphosis, and severe DDD. I was on the diet for two months and I realized I was not feeling any pain from my Fibromyalgia & Ankylosing Spondylitis. Of course, I had to have surgery on the rest and now I feel great. SUGAR is the worst enemy. I'm sure eating pesticides and herbicides from GMO foods doesn't help our health. I had to figure out something to stop my pain because opiates do not work on me. Even after surgery when the doctor sliced open my entire back and put two titanium rods down both sides and screwed them into my spine I had no pain killers since no opiates worked on my DNA.. I am use to travelling all the way over to HEB in College Station even though I live in Bryan since they have a huge assortment of organic produce and they have organic meats as well as fresh goat's milk. The canned goat's milk taste terrible. Not only is Sugar a no, no but so are artificial sweeteners. I use stevia. A brand called Pyure. Let me know about this store please. read more
