I popped into this ALDI in Dacula, GA on a whim after noticing it en route to my dinner destination on 03/07/26. I was pleasantly surprised to find the second flavor of a seasonal ALDI snack -- Coconut Clusters -- that is sold out in my home state. I purchased the Ginger Mango variety last week and am hooked! It was such a joy to find a bag of the Ginger Cranberry Coconut Clusters here. I snagged it & a wonderful smelling (and beautifully canned) Butterfly Blossoms scented candle that was waiting for me in the ALDI finds section of the store. If not for the length of the only open checkout line, this would have easily been a 5-star visit & review! read more

I can always count on Aldi to have something new. Fresh ideas come from them having different things as well as home staples. I like that they keep smaller quantities of fruits and veggies so that it keeps the prices down and quality high. Don't forget to bring your own bag and a quarter for the cart. Paper and reusable shopping totes are available for purchase at the register if needed. You can also use a cardboard box found on the isle if you don't think you need a shopping cart but then find out you are getting more than planned. Sometimes there are items or deals that are just hard to pass up. The only thing i don't like is that sometimes you can never find the same thing twice. If you find something you really like, it may be hard to find it again. read more

Your employee Micah was very disrespectful today because I forgot to put the divider in front of my groceries in the checkout line and he felt it was his right to embarrass and put me down in front of other customers, the lady behind was embarrassed for me as well and stated his rudeness was unwarranted. He failed to acknowledge me but made sure to acknowledge the customer in front of me and behind me. I looked at the lady behind me and laughing and said how nice it was that she was being acknowledged by Micah wish that same courtesy was given to all customers...I asked the assistant manager to call but as no surprise no response! So after years of shopping here I will no longer be supporting Aldi's. read more

If you hate the big box retail stores that take forever to walk through to get a few items then start shopping at Aldi. They have great prices and it takes no time to find what you need. Don't forget a quarter. read more

Went today and was disrespected by a man whom I presume was a manager at the check-out. I seriously can't believe that Aldi has such ignorant employees, but these are the times we're in. I learned at a very young age from my father to "never beg anyone to take your money" and I don't, which is why I won't go into another Aldi's, especially this one in Dacula. read more

So first the positives... The prices are indeed lower than everywhere including Sam's Club where you pay 50 bucks a year for the privilege (but there are some benefits I will touch on later) The produce (they have just the basics) is better looking than publix although that ain't saying much since publix produce appears to have come out of the dumpster at krogers. The small format is relatively easy to navigate through and find things easily and the items are in good shape and nicely presented considering they're usually in a bulk carton of some sort. There's always some good non-edible loss leader items that change from week to week. Now for a dose of reality... Shopping at Aldi feels like shopping at the Dollar Store, complete with dollar store clientele and their numerous screaming babies. Yes, all grocery stores out here seem to have a lot of crying babies, it's just that at Aldi, there's no escaping them. At Sam's Club, where I've migrated to, there's millions and millions of square feet to get away from them. There's usually only one cash register open and the lines can be very long. Unlike at publix where they see lines forming and they instantly open another register, the employees at Aldi pretend they can't see or hear your grunts and groans as the line winds through the aisles and out the door. They could care less about you waiting. Did you know that at Sam's Club, you don't even have to wait in line? You can use their Scan & Go app to check out and just walk out the door. That alone is worth the membership cost. To clarify, there's plenty of other employees in the store, they just won't open a register. And the one register that is open, they rush you through so fast that they're practically stuffing your items into the shopping cart of the customer before you who hasn't even had a chance to put their wallet back in their purse/pocket. If you ask them to please hold on for a moment, they ignore you. The expressionless, miserable attitudes of the people that work in this store just makes me want to cry. I leave the store literally feeling depressed. It's not all about the money. Pretend for a second that you're happy I've passed 4 other grocery stores to shop in your store. Things that should be refrigerated like mushrooms (that even say keep refrigerated on the package), asparagus, broccoli, carrots etc are left out at room temperature in boxes all day and possibly multiple days. I'm sure it saves money and all, but come on, it's stays fresher. Prices that you get rung up for are frequently incorrect. If you bring it to their attention, they'll assume you're lying of course and then spend 10 minutes summonsing someone to check it and then they'll pay you back the difference in cash after making you wait in the insanely long line again. In summary, the reasons I have stopped shopping at this Aldi and really any Aldi, and gone back to Publix and now Sam's is because the lines are too long and there is no service with a smile. Shpping at Aldi was a cold feeling that left me feeling like I've hit rock bottom. Some things are worth paying extra for, what else can I say? read more

Okay let's just start off by saying I'm addicted to grocery shopping so it doesn't take much to make me happy. However Aldi's has always had such a special place in my heart since I was little and my mom and I went there every weekend. But now that I'm paying for my own food I see the value even more! I like Aldi's because the prices are lower than Walmart and it makes it really affordable for me to eat healthy and stay on budget. Their fit and active collection is great. I can meal plan for myself with 5-6 small meals and snacks for a week for under $100. And have great variety. There frozen fruit is great and I really enjoy the Greek yogurt. I really could go on and on. And their wine? Lovely. Them being a German company gives a great international selection to choose from. Plus the staff is great in giving recommendations! Yes the produce isn't always the best and fruit needs to be eaten fast but I for what I'm paying I can deal. Yes you have to bring your own bags and their usually are only 1-2 cashiers. However that seems like more people than they have available at Kroger and Walmart these days. (Sorry I don't want to check myself out EVERY time I go to the store. I have to pay for my food and pack it up?? I thought I already had a job, who knew I was interviewing to be a cashier here too ) I digress. Check it out! You won't regret it! read more

The layout of this supermarket is basically the same everywhere. I usually go to the one off Duluth Highway (Georgia Route 120) on the other side of town, but had to go to this one instead. I got: two frozen Chinese food entrées, Strawberry Banana fruit ropes, two things of yogurt, a bag of spinach, battered fish filets, a bag of pork rinds, a bag of caramel rice cakes, a bag of sweet potato chips, a half gallon of orange juice, a half gallon of guava/mango juice, three bacon and eggs breakfast bowls, a bag of frozen waffle fries, a bundle of bananas, and a bag of Granny Smith apples. My total? I was thinking: $55-60. Nope! $36.68! That's unheard of! The bag of spinach was on sale for 79 cents, and the half gallon of mango-guava juice? $1.29. Very cheap prices and they'd be way much more (total around $65-70) had I shopped at Publix. I'm always happy to find all these very cheap prices (my wallet and bank account are happy too!) and the surprising amount of variety here. Why pay more at Publix or Kroger? Come here instead!! This location is clean and they typically have the products in the advertisements available. But the cashiers are not friendly here. I think it's just the location because the cashiers at the Oakwood location are great. Also, they almost always have just one cashier open with a store that is always busy. read more

I love ALDI! They have a great (be it basic) selection of good quality products at affordable prices. I save money regularly by purchasing the bulk of our groceries here. Bring a quarter to get a cart. (You'll get it back when you return the cart.) Also bring your own bags or you'll need to purchase them at checkout. They recently started accepting all major credit cards. read more

This is the first Aldi's grocery we have been exposed to and over all it has been a pleasant and refreshing experience. It has a small market feel. Great deals if you look a bit. A few names or makes I'm not familiar with but after trying I'm glad I did and now look for them. Great little market. read more

Great prices. Butter and Bacon are cheap. Also has some Kerrygold cheeses. I like the gluten free options. The meat and produce are great and great prices. The staff is friendly. Bring your own bags and a quarter for the shopping buggy. Some name brands but mostly their generics. They also have some general merchandise stuff. Their gluten free corn muffin mix tastes like Jiffy Mix. read more

Nice new store on braselton hwy in decula bigger than most other Aldis. Its not exactly convenient but whats more bothersom is how unfriendly the cashier Nicholas is towards black americans. Rather noticeable which strikes me because other locations don't seem to have his problem. He doesn't appear to have much of a personality in general, and there may not be many non-white customers but I imagine Aldis would expect better representation from their employees. read more
