My wife prefers Grocers such as Harris Teeter, Publix and even WalMart but I like stores like ALDI. Remember they share a bloodline with Trader Joe's. Not as big as the Big Box Stores in terms of floor size or number of SKU's, they make up for it in variety. and price. They have much of the essentials we would be buying but at the same time, there is always something else and it keeps changing. More like a European store which it is in heart. Everything I go, I bring home something different that I had not set out to buy in the first place. This is particularly true of their cheeses. Twice a year, normally in April and October, they have weeklong promotions of German Staples and Meats. Always something good and delicious. Did I mention that ALDI is German? I love Aldi, mostly because I love saving money when I'm food shopping. This Aldi follows their formula perfectly. The parking lot area is clean, the carts are all returned (don't forget your quarter!) and inside, the same four aisles of shopping. Aldi generally does not have a large variety of brands. It's typically a single brand in each item category. Generally decent quality and amazing low price. And if you don't like it, there are other more expensive stores. Produce is inexpensive and while they don't have everything, they definitely have enough to do a full weekly shop. You might have to fill in a few things elsewhere, maybe. In addition to the shopping cart scheme, you need to remember to bring your own shopping bags as they are not free here. You'll also be bagging your own groceries. I call bullshit on Aldi's new ad campaign of lowering some prices to 2019 levels, because the wife and I were just in this store and we didn't see any prices anywhere close to 2019 prices. What we did see were prices even higher than our last visit from just 5 days ago. Eggs had gone up $2 a dozen, their version of Slim Jim's up .45 cents, half and half up .50 cents and on and on. Mayo was even worse. It has more than doubled in price in the past week! And that's even if you can find it on the shelf. On this recent visit, we were only able to get half of what was on our list because this store is constantly out of stock of so many items. How is it we can go into the Publix or Harris Teeter here in Denver and their shelves are always fully stocked, yet if you go into Aldi or Walmart your lucky to be able to get half of what's on your list due to all of the empty shelves. Also its used to be if Aldi and Wal-Mart carried the same items, you knew Aldi was going to be the cheapest. Well not any more. Now you have to price compare each item to see who has it the cheapest before you buy it and lately Harris Teeter weekly sales prices have been way cheaper on items like eggs, sugar, flour, chicken broth, cooking oil and mayo than Aldi or Walmart. We also got our Thanksgiving turkey for .29 cents a pound at Harris Teeter compared to Aldi's $1.07 a pound. Also tell me how Harris Teeter can have eggs on sale for $1.97 a dozen and yet here at Aldi they're $4.21 a dozen?? Aldi is no longer the low price leader they continue to claim to be and have not been so for a few years now. This Aldi is now just as bad as any Walmart, still lots of out of stock items, and if they do have it on the shelf expect to pay double or triple what you use to pay for it, with prices still going up almost daily. read more

Love this store. I save almost half my budget shopping here. I bring my own bags and leave the quarter for the next person. They usually have everything I need. I do have very picky cats so I get their food at Wal-Mart. The meat is wonderful ,very good. It's cheaper and a very good quality. I shop there every week. read more

Their lines remind me of Walmart lines on Sundays. Long, sometimes slow. It can be extremely frustrating when you only have a few things to purchase and there is only one register open. I wish they would do something about that. However, the associates are always smiling and friendly which I really appreciate. Parking is decent, it's a shopping area. I love the gluten free line Aldi has had for the last few years. I look forward to them continuing to extend it. read more

Aldi stores like this one are what make Aldi pretty great. I don't think many people have had the pleasure of shopping at an Aldi this nice and therefore Aldi gets an overall bad rap. First and foremost, the best time to come is immediately at opening time on Saturday morning. They must receive a shipment on Fridays because produce is always so fresh Saturday morning. Many Aldi stores have cheap produce, but few have good looking fresh fruits and veggies. This one has both. I have to add that this store does a great job of pulling and checking for old produce because I rarely find anything "yucky" at this location. Seriously, less than $2 for strawberries? Rock on Denver Aldi! They have a small section for organic produce, and I wish that would expand. Currently they carry carrots, tomatoes, and apples. Beyond produce, I use Aldi for cheeses and eggs! We eat 4 dozen eggs a week, so the $1.79 price helps a lot! The feta crumble cheese is amazing on salads and comes highly recommended. Seriously, if you're in or near Denver, this Aldi is worth the stop. read more

I love shopping at Aldi. This is one of two locations that I frequent. I can get in, get what I need, and get out fairly quickly. The store is always clean, as is the restroom. I especially like shopping in the produce section for a wide selection of fruits and vegetables. The prices cannot be beat in any other supermarket in this area. Will shop here before patronizing a Walmart that is right across the street with over 30 registers and only 2-3 open. No,Aldis may not have the VAST selection as the huge big box retailers,but they have exactly what I need and dont leave me standing staring at over 30 different brands of one item I need. I get what I need and im done. Staff on hand are always friendly and helpful...very clean neat and orderly store....WILL KEEP COMING BACK....NO HASSEL SHOPPING....LOVE IT.... Hate the new over sized carts can't get down the isles. The fire marshal needs to visit!!! It would be nice to have two size carts like Walmart across the street. read more
