I recently moved to Denver and this is best places on Bus 16. From produce to plants, it simply wins the hearts of many locals, including mine. I stop in often. I have tried twice to shop in there to support the locals. they are so rude . i tried to give them grace after the first time so I went back a few months later, and I wasn't in there two minutes before I was approached again with rudeness. I was looking at the peaches and wanted to make sure that I didn't get any that was bruised, and the man jumped on me because I was making sure the ones at the bottom of the bag or basket wasn't bruised and rotten. We stayed in Lakeland for spring break and went into town for breakfast and happened upon this lovely market. It is the largest & best outdoor market I've ever been to. Clean well organized, lots of variety and friendly. The service from the business owners was impeccable. The very kind donut tent gave us some great advice on things to do in the area which was totally above and beyond. The food and coffee was delicious. They had so much wonderful variety of local Homemade pickles, jams, honey, pastries and crafts you name it you could find it. I wish we had a market this lovely near us. read more

New to the Denver area and checking out places for fresh local produce. Had been out for lunch and wanted to at least see what this place had to offer. Huge selection of Peaches and Tomatoes along with other veggies. Tomatoes were not rock hard and nice to the touch. Same with the Peaches. Good selection of other veggies such as string beans, onions, sweet potatoes, okra and others along with a freeze cabinet full of nice cheeses and butters. Looked at their bedding plants and they looked sick but what do you expect in mid August after weeks of 90+ weather. Planning on going back over this week and stocking up on some Fresh Tomatoes to made a Southern Favorite, Scalloped Tomatoes. Would have picked them up which I was there except we were not going directly home. Will also take some pictures to add to the review. later. read more

Great stand on Business 16. It's a nursery with many nice plants and a surprisingly large variety. We got the best ferns ever here. Downside, they don't help you very much in knowing how to care for the plants you purchase. The store has a great selection of southern bottles. Bottles of relish, jellies and picked everything (pickles, okra, eggs, Asparagus, old fashioned sour kraut, and tons more. There are a great selection of produce ever changing with the season. In the fridge are eggs and wonderful pimento cheese and don't leave behind the Ashe Mountain cheddar cheese. In the fall there is a pumpkin patch and nest Christmas-trees and then they close until Easter. read more

Would leave ZERO stars if I could. Went there Saturday to buy a Christmas tree. I purchased it for $159.oo dollars and they where holding it for a few ours so my wife could come with our truck to pick it up. We arrived back at 5:30 and was surprised there where no other customers there. We got out of our truck with our dog (super friendly..AKA our kid on a short leash) we where in the parking lot and a man comes running at me and says we cant have a dog here. I said we have purchased a tree and its 20' away outside. was told we needed to leave... wanted to get our yearly family photo next to the tree. I have NEVER been treated so badly. I asked for a refund and was told NO!!! I said if you need the money that badly keep it and Merry Christmas!! At that point they refunded the money and the female owner then came out and said some things to my wife that I wont put on here, but it was horrible!!! If your a dog person or a person that wants to do business with good people..STAY AWAY!!! read more
