To make matters worse, the drinks come in aluminum cans that are opened and poured into clear plastic cups. This is an outdoor market, so naturally it's hot outside. Within about 15 minutes, the drink was warm and noticeably watered down from melting ice. For what they're charging, I expected something that would actually stay enjoyable for more than a few minutes. And then there was the customer service. The woman at the register took my payment, didn't give me everything I ordered, and then walked away when I tried to get her attention. I had to wave down another employee just to get what I had already paid for. When you're charging premium prices, the food, drinks, and service should actually feel worth the money. Unfortunately, none of them did. The only positive thing I can say is that the actual market itself is very nice and appealing to walk through. They have a good variety of produce, merchandise, and other vendors, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately, the food and drink experience didn't live up to the market itself. The food, drinks, and customer service left a lot to be desired. With the prices being as high as they are, I expected a much better experience. The market may be worth visiting to browse, but I would personally skip the food and drinks.

I have been a pie eater for 60 years and this was top notch stuff. Now we have some wonderful pie in South Florida and when we travel, we find some excellent pie. But this was a real pie lovers experience. The piewe got was exceptional with cherry pie being the best. I am not always drawn to cherry pie, but this is special. The pie crust is crisp and delicate and the fruit is plump and flavorful. Not too sweet either. Really great. We did not drive to the OBX this year, instead flew to ORF and rented a vehicle. Otherwise, we would have been packed with pies heading back to Florida since they do not ship pies. The fresh peaches and tomatoes we also bought were crap, but looked good. Beware. Just a quick browse today as I looked over the local produce while headed to another shop. Lots of great looking stuff, even if it is a little early in the season for fresh grown. Loved the collection of local honey. Did you know that eating local honey is a great way to build up a ragweed tolerance so that you don't have really bad allergies? Yep. A spoonful a day will help with that! The gent working today was very helpful and not at all disappointed that I wasn't making a purchase at the moment.

My husband and I enjoy supporting small, local markets and farms; especially those that remind us of home and our military roots, so it is extremely disappointing to share that our experience today left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. While selecting ears of corn, I picked up several that were already opened and set aside. I examined them only to understand why they had been separated. From across the aisle, an employee called out, "Ma'am, you can't open our corn here." I responded politely that I understood. She then approached me and asked, "Did you open all of these?" Her tone was accusatory, and the question itself was inappropriate. I clarified that the ears were already open when I picked them up. Instead of accepting my explanation, she continued lecturing me--repeating the same point multiple times despite my acknowledgment. She also stated that your corn is "fresh, just picked," which was factually incorrect given that the ears I was holding were ice cold. "Fresh, just picked" corn would be warm to the touch, as though it went directly from farm to stand. I mentioned that the opened ears had earworm. She replied that "there is nothing wrong with corn that has a worm; you just cut it off," and continued repeating the same reprimand I had already acknowledged multiple times. Despite my calm responses, the employee continued pressing the issue to the point that my husband stepped in, saying, "Okay, that is enough." The employee then told us, "Maybe you should go to Walmart to buy your corn." This comment was inappropriate, unprofessional, and entirely unnecessary. At that point, we decided to purchase the four ears already in our bag, inform the cashier of our experience, and leave; spending only $5.00 versus our normal $60-$80 we spend each time we visit. Unfortunately, this interaction has led us to decide not to return to your market, which is genuinely disappointing. We value local businesses and the sense of community they provide, but the treatment we received did not reflect the welcoming environment we expected--or the positive experiences we have had over the past six years as regular customers. We drive from Yorktown specifically to buy your fruits and vegetables, but we will not drive to Sandbridge to be chastised and publicly ridiculed for something I did not do, and even if I had, I acknowledged your policy immediately upon being told. The only issue I run into CONSTANTLY is the people putting together pickup orders being in the way. They literally block entire sections of the shelves on a regular basis. And a few of them have been incredibly rude. Another issue, also with pickup, is that they never have enough slots open during the early afternoon. And I've been shopping on the app to place a pickup order so many times and never end up going through with it because they don't have a time slot available before 7pm OR they don't have basics that I need available on the app (like milk bread and eggs) but when I walk into the store they have plenty of everything on the shelves. .

We ordered a 2nd set of Wrangler Duratracs for my Jeep. These same size tires were installed at…read morethis same store in 2019 without any issues. The order for tires was placed on May 23rd with the install date to be May 28th. My husband took my Jeep to this EC Walmart on the day of installation only to be told they weren't allowed to install an other than stock sized tire on my Jeep. Something to do with this particular store and a lawsuit. Our order was canceled & I received 3 emails-a cancel email because we missed our appointment (a LIE), an email saying some from Tires Nation would contact me (they never did) & the last email saying the tires were delivered to the wrong location. My husband immediately left this store & went to the new Discount Tire in EC who matched Walmart's price & installed them without any issue. So, imagine my surprise when I noticed the funds from the Walmart order of $1254 were withdrawn from our account-over a week later. 2 calls to Walmart.com customer service have failed to resolve this issue. I placed a fraudulent charge report against them with my bank (still waiting on them to get their own act together) and miraculously received a refund confirmation email for $313.61 on June 13th. Someone at either this store or online has STOLEN almost a thousand dollars from us & I'm starting to get angry. I spoke to yet another online person today who told me Tires Nation emailed me on 6-6 to request the order #. First off, why would they need an order number from me when they shipped & received the order & secondly, I never received an email from their 3rd party vendor. If I were you, I would NEVER order tires online or have tires put on here due to whatever happened causing an issue for others because you are likely to lose money. Get a quote & take it down the street to Discount Tire. I'll be calling Navy Federal to find out what their problem is with my dispute. I provided them all the documents they've requested. I'm going to give Justin 48 hours for billing to contact me. After that, I'm filing a claim with small claims court. I'm unemployed with nothing better to do. Walmart, you are not what you used to be, nor do you care about your customers. I can see why Amazon has stolen your business. Just like you stole my money!!
