After dinner we stopped by here a little before closing. This dessert shop is tucked away in a great boutique building that was decorated for Christmas. It was late, so they had a small selection of various desserts. I passed on treats. The family had ice cream and a fairly large chocolate chip cookie. The ice cream was good and apparently the taste of the cookie matched the size. Big flavor. There were several desserts available that I'm sure would have put me in a food coma, but I was full from dinner. I definitely recommend this great place to satisfy your sweet tooth. read more

Highly recommend this bakery-- they post on their social media daily and let everyone know the new treats fresh from the oven! They are always introducing new pastry's so you can always try something different! The macarons here are my favorite-- super soft and delicious. I really wanted to love this place. The shop is adorable inside and the staff is always great, but this was my second visit and the second time we've received stale treats. I understand wanting to sell through product, but selling items past their prime doesn't bring customers back. I gave it a second chance, but unfortunately I won't be returning. This place is super cute! The decor and the choice of (oldies) music just transforms me to another place. My first time here and I want to try EVERYTHING off their coffee/latte/etc menu!! Unfortunately they did not have the New Orleans signature latte because they ran out of the banana foster syrup it's ok. It just means I have to come back! Pictured was what I ordered the Capone. Honestly, I ordered it because of the name lol. But its a macadamia nut latte with white chocolate sauce with oatmilk. It's so freaking good!!! Talk about killing two birds with one stone! Visit a nice small business coffee shop and finally drink some bubble tea! Finally got to visit the Sweet Easy recently. Parking is on street and there's also a small parking lot close by on the same street. I recommend following this cafe on Facebook as they are great with letting you know what they are making that day. The shop was very clean and the barista who took our order was very friendly and helpful. I have never had bubble tea before and hilariously didn't know what was going on or what I wanted. The barista was totally on board with the laughing and having fun. I got the coconut bubble tea, I would probably order that again. It's very light and refreshing. They seemed to have a really good selection of flavors. I also ordered a piece of banana bread, which was decent in flavor but a bit on the dry side. It was still morning and not very hot so we sat outside at one of two tables which I think is always a nice option. The music from the restaurant next door was audible but not too loud and we actually really enjoyed it. My daughter didn't like my dancing, but that's a different review. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and I will definitely be going back to try the macaroons I always see pictures of. They also have decorate a cake kit from time to time, which I think is a great family activity and really says a lot about the ingenuity of this small business. read more
