They update their facebook page daily due to weather and strawberry conditions so it's easy to keep an eye out before you make the drive. It's buried deep in Pungo off a charming road and a beautiful leisurely drive through the countryside. We easily found it, pulled in, and weighed our baskets and were sent off to one of the fields to pick. They had 2-3 open at the time with several rows to choose from and plenty of parking. It was muddy, which I knew from their warning to wear the proper shoes and clothes, but we managed to find a few rows and found tons of available strawberries. I was worried about there not being enough for everyone but that was not a problem - we quickly picked about 7 pounds of beautifully ripe red berries and headed back to the main station to weigh them. We stood in a socially distanced line where I browsed their veggie plants (for making your own home garden) and their beautiful potted flowers. They have some friendly wildlife here as well you can interact with as the goats were happy to come to the fence and be seen. Great experience - I now have two jars of fresh strawberry jam and tons of frozen strawberries for smoothies! This may be a new tradition.

The guy at the register was like do you need all those produce bags, and I jokingly told them if they had bags for groceries I wouldn't be trying to make lemonade outta these lemons. What else was I to do? Lol. They have a nice assortment of cheeses for the bougie in you!! Lol. Now anyone can afford the stinky cheeses. I like the dips as well. Your charcuterie board will be nice if you get what you need here, and very reasonably priced. I do enjoy they're little desserts as well. The meats at this location look good. Not every Aldi or Lidl has decent looking meat. So shout out to them for that. I do wish they had a bakery section like Lidl. But it's still a nice store. The employees are nice. Don't forget your quarter when you go, and be prepared to pay $.12 minimum depending on the bag you choose. All in all Aldi is a good store. I do wish they had a rewards program. But I guess they feel the prices are good enough!!! Anyhoo, check them out!!

And the trued and true classic flavors like cherry vanilla, pistachio, Rocky road, all yummy and creamy and taste so natural unlike other brands that are way too sweet. I also like the International frozen items that Aldi Carrie's - they vary but when they are available, I definitely stock up! Today I bought the frozen German cakes - apple walnut, almond... the other week I got the strawberry cream and chocolate hazelnut. All have light airy consistency and oh do good ingredients - like the chocolate ganache in the chocolate hazelnut cake is definitely Belgian chocolate! Don't be fooled, once you thaw these babies, you'll be hooked! I also got Asian frozen foods. Love love love the Fusia brand since they come in great portions (usually good for 2, think date night to impress with your culinary skills)...today I got the Shrimp fried rice and the Kung Pao Noodles with shrimp. Oh and in my way out, gif that pumpkin gif just $2.89...and I eyed that last outdoor rug ... what a find at $29.99! See you all at Aldi!!!

Also different foods from other countries, which I appreciate. They sell some generic products, but most of what I've gotten taste similar to the brand name items. But not everything! Definitely bring your reusable bags, or you can purchase paper bags or reusable bags there. If I'm having a gathering I definitely like to shop here for different types of crackers and dips!! They always have new items, the only problem is what you see won't always be there. So if you like something, get it while you can. The prices are reasonable for most items and I like this store! The parking area had plenty of spots and the lot was clean as was the walk up. I scored on a cart that still had a quarter in it.... Score! The store departs from other Aldi immediately when entering. The produce area was neat and decently full. Even remarkable my visit was after 7 PM when inventory is often low. The rest of the store was also in pretty darn good shape considering the timing. Inventory was either full or at minimum had something. Most surprising were their top eggs. The organic cage free eggs often sold out had very low inventory, but was perfect for me to get a dozen. These eggs are delicious and a bargain at $4. Also the organic 2% milk often low, or sold out was in stock. Also a bargain. I chatted with a manager on the floor and told her how nice the store was. Checkout was smooth utilizing a credit card. Staff was friendly. I would absolutely return and go out of my way to do so.

This was my third and last stop without any luck. The previous two locations just said they didn't have it and went about their business. When I asked at this location, the manager said she would go on the computer to see if she could find it. When she returned she said she researched December, January and all ads available to her. Then she reached out to other managers for help. Unfortunately she couldn't find the item but I truly appreciated her efforts in trying to locate the item for me. This is not my usual Aldi's but may have to rethink that. Also, while I waited, I had time to walk the store. It was clean and very well stocked. Everything looked fresh and appetizing. And just in case someone is wondering what the item was, I will post a picture just in case.

I don't usually write reviews like this, but what happened today deserves to be called out…read more I placed an order for 40 pounds of chicken leg quarters for a family Easter gathering--something that requires planning, coordination, and trust. Yesterday, I even called ahead to confirm hours and made it clear I would be picking up my order today. When I arrived, I was met with complete incompetence. My order was scribbled on a yellow Post-it note--already a red flag--and they had written the wrong date (Monday the 7th). Because of their mistake, they had sold out of chicken and had nothing to give me. No backup plan. No accountability. Nothing. So now, on a major holiday weekend, I'm left scrambling to replace 40 pounds of meat for my family. It gets worse. After leaving, I called and spoke with the owner. I expected at least a basic apology or some attempt to make things right. Instead, I got smug indifference. No ownership, no urgency, no concern. His "solution"? Offer me whole chickens cut into quarters at nearly THREE TIMES the price. That's not a solution--that's taking advantage of your own mistake. When I asked how something like this even happens, his response was essentially: "Well, I guess they wrote it down wrong." That was it. No apology. No effort to fix it. Just a shrug wrapped in arrogance. This wasn't a minor inconvenience--this was a complete failure in customer service, communication, and basic professionalism. If you're trusting this business with an important order, don't. They've shown exactly how little they value their customers when it actually matters. I won't be back.
