I like Aldi because, while it has a more limited selection of products than other large market chains, it doesn't have all the price tricks that stores like Giant do. The price on the shelf is the price of the product. No "buy six and get 15¢ off." Or "use your bonus card so we can track everything you buy." There is no bonus card at Aldi. Or "download the digital app for more savings," so we can track you even when you're not in our store." You see a price on the shelf, which is usually lower than similar products even when on sale at Giant, and you can buy one, or six of them. The price is the price. I also find that although Aldi carries what I think are house brands, the quality is great. Cereals, for example, are great, and about half the price of comparable cereal products at Giant. Salad greens are considerably less costly at Aldi. There is a smaller selection of spices at Aldi, but the ones they have are MUCH lower in price. And their barbecue potato chips are TERRIFIC! I still need to visit the Giant for products I just don't see at Aldi. A smaller selection of meats, cheeses, and fish. And the level of service is lower at Aldi than at Giant. And you won't find the array of health/beauty products that Giant carries. The store is neat, clean, and well stocked. For price and quality on the goods they carry, I really appreciate the lack of bonus cards and sale prices that almost require magic tricks to realize at Giant. read more

Great shopping experience with some European flair. I used to shop here all the time when living in Europe and am ecstatic that Aldi is now 'down the street'. A lot of the -for me- staple products are missing compared to when overseas, but then again, this is America and Aldi-USA sells American products....and German chocolate! Fresh and inexpensive fruit and veggies are too be had and all your grocery needs can be met here. Parking is well organized and if you bring a 'quarter' you can get a cart! Bring your own grocery bags otherwise it'll cost you $0.10 per bag! read more

I went through a phase where I was part of the Aldi fan Facebook groups, and I was obsessed with making charcuterie boards. For the purpose of making grazing boards, Aldi is a great option because their crackers, nuts, cured meats and cheeses are priced well and good quality. Generally though, this is not a great option for my weekly grocery shop. While individual items are at a discount, there's also a very limited selection. If it's a busy day, bagging your own groceries and dealing with lines can really slow things down. The quality of produce is hit-or-miss, and I am normally not able to get everything on my list, requiring a second grocery store stop. Some individual items while on special can be a huge bargain, such as greeting cards when they are on sale. I was able to get a great selection of holiday and birthday greeting cards at a dollar each. So, if you are a bargain shopper and are stocking up on generics or are not very concerned with what brand you used for cleaning supplies and laundry, this may be a good option to try. A side note, the staff at this particular location are outstanding, extremely helpful and hardware king. I has never had trouble getting someone to assist me. read more

I love the variety of fresh and reasonably priced produce here! On my visit, they didn't have any regular size green peppers so I ended up buying the smaller size, but they worked for what I needed them for. This store has been consistently kept clean and the isles are roomy. I love all the deals you can find here and I am addicted to their 99 cent per can energy drinks!! They rival Monster brand and may even be better! read more

I was at Aldi on Rt 22 and used a self serve register. I accidentally double scanned three items and there was no one up front to void the items except for the single cashier who had a long line. A manager walks up coincidentally so I called over to her asking if she could void the items. She came over after a minute and did so, but then made a comment saying if I needed any more help that he (the cashier) could help me. I said thanks but he had a long line so I asked her. God forbid I bothered her to do her job! I was so disgusted with her attitude. If someone doesn't wanna do part of their managerial job and void three items on a transaction, then maybe she shouldn't be a manager. It's not a wonder why no one wants to use the self check out registers, because there's no one around to help if something doesn't work right. Do better Aldi! read more

Very good and reasonably priced Grocery store in the neighborhood. Offers lots of grocery options not found in regular grocery stores. The prices are most affordable. Remember to take a quarter coin with you, if you want a shopping cart, as the coin needs to be deposited while picking cart, which will be refunded when you return the cart. read more

I love Aldi and l love this one too! It's bright, clean, and the aisles are wide enough to allow more than one cart to peruse. Also Aldi in this area is available delivered right to your door via Instacart! My favorite 2 sections are the seasonal section with imported chocolates, cookies, fun sauces, oh man! Also I love love love the cheese section. There's always fun varieties of cheese and the prices are excellent! The bread and baked goods are also priced well and delish. The frozen section has some good finds too. Heck the whole store has some gems! You may not be able to do a full grocery haul here especially if you're brand specific but they do carry some brand name things and the aldi brand is very good. Comparing apples to apples with products between here and Giant you'll find that the savings are great and you'll also leave with some unique finds you can't get anywhere else! read more

I love and enjoy the items that are sold at Aldis. The reasoning for the semi-bad rating is for one of the workers I've encountered today. She was ABSOLUTELY rude for no reason. She slammed my cart, didn't give me my receipt, made a mean face, & ignored my hello. I'm not usually the type of person to comment on these things but she was extremely mean for no reason and kind of ruined my day. I didn't get her name because I just walked off but I will be updating this with her name for the next time I go (because I still enjoy buying things from there). read more

I started shopping at Aldi about 2 months ago. I waited to do a review to ensure I had a real picture of what this store is. Aldi is a unique grocery store compared to the other mainstream stores (Giant, Weis, etc.) Aldi operates on a smaller scale and carriers a smaller selection of products. Don't misread this to mean they don't have all the products you'll need, they just have two brands of chocolate chip cookies instead of 15. The biggest appeal that Aldi offers is their incredibly low prices. Produce, meat, snacks, and frozen products are almost always cheaper here. Keep in mind these products are the "Aldi Brand" but after trying numerous products I can safely say they are as good - and in rare cases - better than the name brands! Sometimes I still need to visit a bigger store for specific items but overall I have cut my bill around $15 a week. For just two people I think that's good saving! Aldi does not bag your groceries but rather just places them in your cart once rang up. You can purchase bags, bring your own, or grab an empty box at the store. The store is small and can feel crowded at time - especially when people are wandering around lost. I try to go at off peak hours because of this. I recommend you check Aldi out at least once! read more

I would give it less. I was curious as to why I didn't hear a knock or doorbell. Nothing in my delivery was correct. Not one thing. Since corporate only offers its number and store not listed, now I have to physically go to store. Which was the purpose of delivery. Find someone to do things right, or find someone else. read more
