Incredibly Delicious! This review is for their food truck, which recently visited our development on a Sunday morning. First, I thought it was a great idea to have a food truck on a weekend morning, because you can tap into a different group of patrons than on a Friday night. Service was spot on with each type of croissant and food item was explained (with pride) to me while trying to choose. On this visit we sampled the ham and cheese croissant, the apple croissant, and the savory bread pudding. Everything was delicious! The croissants were some of the best ones my wife and I have eaten. So much so we contemplated walking back to the truck for seconds. If you see their food truck stop and you will not be disappointed! My fiancé and I visited Frederic's shop while searching for the perfect wedding favors for our guests, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. Frederic was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout our visit, making the entire process so enjoyable. We sampled several of the chocolates, and every single one was absolutely delicious. We ended up selecting Red, a red berry-filled chocolate, and Hedonism, a hazelnut and sea salt chocolate. The chocolates were a huge hit at our wedding! So many guests commented on how delicious and elegant they were. We made sure to let them know where they could buy more. I think you should stay away from this establishment. I especially recommend that you stay away on Saturdays when fresh pastries and other delights are available. I'm not being selfish; I'm simply concerned about your health LOL Wow. Just wow. I'm not sure where to begin with the superlatives. My companion and I paid our first visit on a recent Saturday morning. She had heard about the almond croissants and wanted to drop in and try one. It was all over once we entered the store and I was grateful to finally pry her away! This quaint little shop is tucked away in a mainly residential area a few blocks off Jonestown Road in Colonial Park. The shop is utterly immaculate, and from what we could see the production area was also spotless. The young man working the counter was very friendly and quite patient as my companion bounced from item to item, adding to our quickly burgeoning order. I finally managed to stop her and we escaped with an almond croissant, a butter croissant (mine), a bacon and Swiss quiche, and two wonderfully crafted desserts. I would have included a photo of the butter croissant, but I devoured it before we left our parking space. The photos are of one of the desserts--now long gone!--and the bacon and Swiss quiche, which I am savoring as I post this review. The quiche shell is basically perfect and the bacon is generously portioned and good sized, thick bits. Just wow. Frederic Loraschi Chocolate is absolutely worth a visit. Ever single aspect of our visit was superb, and I know we'll be back repeatedly. HIGHLY recommend. The best chocolates in PA as far as I'm concerned! This is a little shop in a neighborhood near the mall. The building is unassuming and tucked away, with a small lot on the side. The smell when you enter the store is incredible! They make the chocolates on site. I recommend trying the orange peels and the drinking chocolate. They are both incredible, and make great gifts too. I've read the Yelp reviews and have been meaning to stop here since it's so close to my residence. I got out of work early so I decided to stop in. This is a small shop located not far off of the beaten path (Jonestown Road) in the Colonial Park area. Unfortunately, they didn't have any single chocolates in their case as it was explained to me that they just came back from vacation but that some would be available next week. They did have boxed macarons and other goodies. Great place to buy gifts for chocolate or macaron lovers. Everything was explained to me by the young, friendly gentleman behind the counter. I made my selections, paid and headed home. I couldn't wait to try some so I immediately opened the mini assorted box and popped 2 of them into my mouth (not at the same time!). This review is for the French Pastries which Chef-owner Frederic Loraschi is slowly introducing in the market. I visited the shop couple of days before Christmas, thinking I'll buy some macarons. The interior of the store has a simple beauty due to minimalist design used. The lady at the counter welcomed me and explained all the items they had in store. When my eyes fell on the French cakes, I was astonished, because I wasn't expecting them and the website doesn't talk about them. I drive to Lancaster to buy French pastries from my favorite bakery there. So, I jumped at the chance to try these closer to home. They had 2 Holiday logs: Chocolate and Caribbean Log. The colors for Caribbean log were eye-catching and I decided to go with it. My decision was correct. It was delicious and light as air. Everyone in the family loved it. It was on the pricier side, but so worth it. I'm not sure if the french pastries are available all year round, or only during holidays. But if they are, then they are a must try. read more

Lucky Me!! My husband surprised me for Valentines and gifted me with a hand picked box of chocolates and a box of macarons. The macarons are delightful, delicate, and the flavors were executed perfectly! I tried a blackberry violet cookie, and the violet was ever so subtle and really gave the flavor combo depth. The chocolates are works of art. Gorgeous!! The chocolate is of superior quality, so smooth. One of the chocolates in the box was a truffle and had such a "clean" chocolate taste. The fruit filled chocolates bring a bright and tart accompaniment to the beautiful, shiny, colorful chocolate shells. What a gem! I never knew of this place until just recently. Who would have ever known or guessed such a fine establishment was right here all this time?! The display of chocolates in the case is like perusing fine jewels, each one a beautiful work of art. We haven't eaten more than one yet, but we are going to cherish each treasure. Truly wonderful chocolates. Expensive but worth the price. Each piece of chocolate is a work of art, beautiful to the eye. The flavors are delicate and clear. Amazing chocolate shop, chocolates are by far the best I've tasted in Harrisburg and surrounding areas. It was so evident that the Chef makes them with so much passion. There are many flavors - fruity as well as others. I got a custom box of 16 and just loved all of them. Even the packaging and color of the boxes is great. I tried their macaroons and cake also. Macaroons found to be just ok - they were sweeter than what I like. This month got the caramel and chocolate cake which had a peanut butter macaroon displayed on top. Made with chocolate mouse and orange flavor in that - it was a delicious creation. Got a chance to talk to the chef. Right now, he's making only one flavor per month. They're getting more machinery this month for their expansion. In future he wants to make individual slices of more flavors of cakes - looking forward to that. I have been to Frederic Loraschi multiple times but this is my first review. I walked into the store this week to buy my wife and daughters some Valentine's Day chocolates. I was greeted with a life changing chocolate sample. I bought my wife the single origin chocolate sampler. My wife has declared this the best chocolate she has ever had (we were just in Switzerland last Summer). This is easily the best hand crafted chocolates in the area. Pure Paris in Harrisburg, PA. These chocolates are the finest in the area. There are other good handmade chocolates in central PA, but Frederic Loraschi's are exquisite! The caramelized banana and the lavender honey are treasures. In my box of 19 chocolates there was not a single "so so" chocolate. Recently, I was the lucky recipient of two boxes of Frederic Loraschi chocolates, gifted to me by my wonderful husband. The reason for two boxes? In order to try everything that Fred makes - and I'm so glad to do that, because I will be back for more! Fred's chocolates are delightful and elegant, with flavors that "pop" and subtle notes that are sublime. It's tough to pick favorites, but I particularly enjoyed the Fade (lavender honey), Rise (mango and passion fruit) as Bergamot. Fred's chocolates are works of art. We consider ourselves chocolate "snobs" and find that Fred's are simply the best. Fred has received numerous awards for his work including being a World Chocolate Master silver medalist in 2010, and named in the Top 10 of all chocolatiers in North America in 2011. My husband said that Fred was a delight to talk with and clearly passionate about his craft. We are so fortunate that Fred decided to settle and work in Harrisburg.
