I stopped in at this location for the first time as I was on my way home. I needed some basic items. This location was great. The aisles were super wide and a lot bigger than my regular spot. This store was very welcoming. As per their policy, you have to put a quarter in to retrieve your shopping cart but you get it back when you return the cart. This location had way more stock than my usual location. I found many more products than in my location that are always out of stock. The store was very well kept and everything was in the proper place. The shelves, refrigerators, and freezers were organized. That also made my experience enjoyable to shop. I made my way to checkout and they had all the cashiers taking care of customers and 4 self-checkouts that were with no clients and all were working That was where I went due to the lines being too long it was a very busy day for them. FYI: Aldi charges 10 cents per shopping bag. They tell you about their effort to protect the environment. They also have a long area stretched in the front of the stores, where you can utilize the space to pack your groceries in your bags. I purchased what I needed, many of their products are not filled with preservatives and are very reasonable in price. They also offer an abundance of vegan, gluten-free, keto, and vegetarian products. This was my third location I have visited and I will definitely be back to Aldi! read more

Okay now normally i love ALDIs! However recently they've added some new staff who have not created a better shopping experience in my opinion. They just bossed around customers telling us where to stand for the line while there was clearly no sign, lanes, or notice otherwise. I actually ended up going back and forth between the invisible lanes they created and this took me longer to check out-- unwarranted advice? If it ain't broke don't fix it! It was the first time i experienced this and i felt that this store and approach to service could do without. Perhaps have them stand outside and help with the carts-- a place for some use! The groceries itself is fantastic and a lot more reasonable in pricing compared to Publix. I love the product variety and rotation of items. If I drive by an Aldi store I have not been before, I like to stop in and check out what they have. Sometimes different stores carry slightly different inventory or sometimes a certain store has run out of a certain item due to the customer demand. I went to check out their Chocolate section....they have great tasting European chocolates for a fraction of the price you would pay at another upscale grocery store or confection store. This store had a nice selection of them, some dark, some milk, some with nuts, some without. Great prices, great selection, great quick cashiers checking people out. read more

We love our local Aldi. They are mostly always fully stocked and the employees are great. To me, they have the best produce specifically fruit in our area. Especially for the price - you really can't beat it! I love the seasonal fruits they have to offer. We have even found blueberries in season from Hammonton, NJ which is basically the blueberry capital! Aldi's is the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. I used to just carry groceries around the store in bags I brought but getting my own cart has made the checkout process a lot smoother so now I always keep a quarter hanging in an Aldi's keychain made for that purpose attached to my purse. I shop at Aldi's at least once a week. Unfortunately the locations by me have become run down. I stopped going to one because every cart was broken. I have started trying different locations when I am out. I was headed back from Miami when it was getting close to Aldi's closing time so I made a quick detour to this store in Hollywood. It seemed like an older store and shelves were low or completely out of some things I needed. They didn't have the yogurt, frozen mixed berries, and low calorie OJ I use in my smoothies, Fortunately I was able to get enough of the basics to get me through the week. When I got to the register I got the biggest surprise. This is the first Aldi's I have ever come across with self check out! No more tossing the groceries into a cart so I have to fish them out and bag them myself. best of all, there was no checkout line. The self check out was so easy to use and I loved it. I hope to see it in more Aldi's soon. I would still prefer shopping at one of the brighter and newer Aldi stores that are more well stocked but the self check out was a nice surprise when I was in a hurry. read more

I would normally write a great review about everyone that works there, but today we had the unfortunate luck to have Mathew as our cashier. Super rude and even asked my husband to meat him outside when he got off of work to fight. All because we asked him to put the cold stuff in a certain bag. Everyone else in this store is great. I wasn't impressed with this location. Many of the shelves were empty; so many items I needed were out of stock. The shelves were also very messy. Whoever owns this store needs to do a much better job on neatness and stock replenishment! The produce was in better shape and most fruits and vegetables in stock and fresh. Hands down to the savings to get here. I will not argue that. This small market may not have all the items a neighborhood brand market would but the items it carries are good quality, fresh and at a good price. This is not a market I normally go to because it is out of my way. Today I found myself in the area. My first impression of the market was messy but clean. I was then happily impress with the chocolates I found. they have such a good variety and at an excellent price. The lowest for those brands that I have found. I was so happy with my find. The produce aisle looked not what I am used to, disorganized with piles of boxes in the middle. The produce felt and looked fresh. The price was great. I did end up buying some produce and can honestly say that yes they were fresh. I wasn't there for too long. The lines looked long. The cashiers did move people quickly in and out. They do a good job. They are not very friendly. You have to bring your own bags. This store has interesting items you don't normally see. I found a cherry beer. That was different. BE CAREFUL, WRONG PRICES I go to do some grocery every week at Aldi on sterling street in Hollywood. They got some good prices on most articles but also a lot of pricing mistakes More than one time , the prices mark on the shelve is different than the price you pay at the cash. This week , under the containers on the shelve the price for a container of chicken bone broth was $1.37 , so it was a great price I use that a lot In my cooking, so I put 6 of then in my basket. I was not feeling good,so I told my husband to go at the cash and pay for my weekly shopping ant I will go to the car. We know many men are not the best for shopping because they don't do that often, at less mine is not good at all. So he did not keep his eyes on Travis who was my cashier that day running the order. As we got home, I look at my bill, and the bone broth that I had bought was charge $3.65 each That is a big difference from $1.37 to $3.65 Yes, I could had went back to show there mistake , I don't live close to that store, taking in consideration My time and the gaz the car, I did not do that. So, from now on, I will be more careful, and stay close to the cashier, and check prices , and won't leave my husband to finish for me the shopping. read more

I have passed the place quite a few times, but today, I decided to check it out for the very first time. What threw me off before I entered the market was that you had to pay $0.25 to use a shopping cart...you'll get back the quarter once you lock the cart back in place. Located in a plaza, next to Burlington, along Washington St. and State Rd. 7 (441), Aldi is a large store that feels like a combination of Save-A-Lot supermarket and a dollar store. It's clean with organized aisles such as grocery, candy, pastry, bread, fruits & vegetables, beer, dairy, packaged meats, laundry items, paper goods, personal & baby care items. In the middle of the store, there are Aldi Finds, which are tools, toys, pet items, household items; and outdoor items for camping, home, and garden. Aldi carries a few of the national name brand products, but they mostly carry their own food brands. The prices are low and affordable. There are a few of the employees around, and the cashier who checked my items out was pleasant. Just like Save-A-Lot, you have to pack your own groceries and bring your own tote bags. Aldi does provide bags, but you have to purchase them. $0.10 for plastic bags and $0.07 for paper bags. It was an unusual shopping experience here at Aldi, but I believe I would only come here for small items such as bread, dairy products, and fruits. read more

I stopped in after seeing clients in the area and was on my way home. We needed some basic items, like vegetables, fruit, and bread. I have not been to this location before but it looked brand new. After I parked, i noticed a lot of people traffic, leaving and entering the store. This location was great. It was super bright and the aisles were super wide. The location I usually frequent looks old, the aisles are very narrow, and a lot darker. This store was very welcoming. The customers were a little odd though. I think there was only one person, other than me, that had a cart. You have to put a quarter in to retrieve one but you get it back when you return the cart. So not sure if no one has quarters or were being cheap, even though you get the quarter back?! Anyway, people were using old, beat up fruit & vegetable boxes as their baskets. Creative but it looked like a struggle. This location had way more stock than my usual location. I was relaxed browsing around because it was not over crowded with people or products. The store was very well kept and everything was in the proper place. The shelves, refrigerators, and freezers were very neat. That also made my experience much more relaxing. I finally made my way to checkout and there were only two lanes open. There was at least 5 people on each line. Btw, Aldi charges 10 cents per shopping bag. Most countries other than the US do this in efforts to protect the environment. I usually keep reusable bags in my car so it definitely comes in handy. If you have a cart, they scan and place the items right back into the cart. There is a long area stretched the front of the stores, where you can utilize the space to pack you're groceries in your bags. I purchased a good amount of groceries, that will last us 2 weeks or more and spent less than $55. Many of their products are not filled with preservatives and are very reasonable in price. They also offer an abundance of vegan and vegetarian products. I'm in the process of becoming vegetarian and go vegan when I can so this encouraged me even more. This was my third location I have visited and has been my favorite so far. I will definitely be back! read more

I've been shopping at Aldi's for 8 yrs. This is the ONLY Aldi's that I have been in that was 1) filthy and 2) bad quality produce. I love coming here for fruits, veggies, bread, dairy, & fruit juices. Just the other day I bought 20 items & it came up to $35 dollars! All healthy foods! This place fits my budget for myself & family. I grateful stores like ALDI are here in my neighborhood. I have to drive past Publix, Target, Walmart, & GF Supermarket to get here, but it's worth it. I didn't give it 5 stars only because if you don't have a loose quarter you'll have to carry your items by hand or grab an empty box around the store.
