We had the most fabulous lunch here, we have been talking about that beet salad & minestrone soup for days. As a matter of fact, soon as we got home hubby made me go get "red quinoa" to add to our beet salad bc that is his new favorite now :)... This is a locally owned small business that has just moved to this location & space. Formally just a supplements store, it's now a full blown organic market/grocery with a excellent organic cafe, offering locally grown produce as well! The only other cafe that can even compare to this one is in NYC, and this one blows that one away. Hubby & I both wish we lived in walking/biking distance to this gorgeous little market. I ordered 10 lbs of the medium claws for the family for the long presidents day weekend and they were a huge hit with everyone. They deliver fresh overnight via fed ex and although delivery is a bit pricey at $70 for weekday delivery up to 10lbs and $85 for Saturday delivery, I think it was worth every penny for this seasonal delicacy.

The bread selections also have some nice varieties. We have been getting the round loaf of Sourdough. It makes delicious toast. It's interesting that they don't have self checkouts. I hate self check outs and appreciate it when I can get a real person to check me. I don't mind waiting is line for a while to get the service I want. I'll continue to return.

During this pandemic not to much entertainment available. Mostly trips to the grocery store or…read morefridge. So idea to visit u-pick farm came very timely. I planned to visit another farm but when made it there, found sign on the gate- closed due to COVID-19. Farm across the street was open. That's how i found Owen's. There was plenty of parking spots. Parked, walked to the big open " office" where young lady explained to me and my friends the rules- pick any berries we want, any patch. Water in the fridge available for purchase, potty - for free. Little buckets already lined with plastic bags already waiting for us. In less than an hour all of us gathered 3-4 pounds of fresh juicy berries, soaked up some sun which helped to shake off some of the " home dust". Paid $5/ pound and went back home to bake fresh blueberry pies. Very nice little farm, pleasant people. Will be back foe sure. Up until now they was only on the Facebook, i think they deserve to be on Yelp as well!
