Great prices, clean. This is one of very few Aldi's on the east coast of Florida that has a safe parking lot. The Dania location keeps you constantly looking over your shoulder. With that said, the staff at the registers are some of the most rude and entitled people I've had the pleasure of checking out with. It's a constant inconvenience, I've never once heard a thank you or anything else that doesn't scream "I hate my job". Update. Got home with our groceries. Opened up the Brussels sprouts we bought, smelled like rotting eggs, threw them in the trash. Opened the bag of sun dried tomatoes as well, found mold and threw that away. Buyer beware, you should check your groceries before consumption. See photo below. Review changed to one star, will not be returning.

Cute treats to make with the kids.

Think of Aldi's as the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like the German roasted coffee they sell. if you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. At least the lady checking me out saw I would be awhile collecting my items and she moved me out of the way with the cart and brought an empty one over to help the next person. This isn't my local Aldi's but I was in the area so I decided to see what I could save on. Produce was cheap, with melons and strawberries for just a little over a dollar which is a big savings over Publix. During the school year I use Aldi's to pick up inexpensive snacks for my students. Today they had a selection of affordable Mothers's Day gifts. Three wick candles were under $5. They had really cute solar figures for the garden which I picked up along with chocolate, and diffusers with essential oils. I purchased a card for $1 that would easily be over $5 at Hallmark. With the money I saved I was able to treat some mom to me ladies for the holiday. I find some departments too small for me like the meat but if Aldi's has what I need it will always be at the best price. I keep tote bags in my car just in case I want to stop at one. The company has recently remodeled a number of their stores and this is one of them. Everything was clean and well organized. Staff was busy all over the store unloading more product. I always like checking out their seasonal products and home goods items to stock my gift closet. If I lived closer I would be here all the time.

Stopped in this Aldi as I was in the neighborhood. Recently remodeled, this Aldi is spacious and well lit. Products were stocked neatly on the shelves but due to some shortages due to COVID-19 panic shopping, there was little left in the cleaning and paper products aisles. Cashier was polite and let me leave my cart by the register as I needed to visit the rest room before I headed home. The rest room was clean but could use a hook to hang a purse or diaper bag. Also, I didn't see any sanitizing wipes for the shopping carts but I carry my own hand sanitizer so I was good. Please get some sanitizer or wipes, Aldi! I was able to pick up the things I needed and get out quickly. Remember to bring your quarter and your bags!

He is too weak to cook so Big Larry bees cooking up some stir fry and curries for him as that is his jam right now. Well, they have Harry's house of Cholesterol with six gallon jugs of Nutella and lard, but no green veggies until I found this gem of a market. A tiny bodega tucked into a strip mall and Exactly where I would expect an Asian market to be. Little English spoken and not a white fellow in sight. Ahhh. My kinda place. Fresh Asian veggies! OMG! Long beans, three kinds of Bok Choy. A zillion kinds of mushrooms, black garlic, Thai Basil, FRESH lime leaves. Heaven for a cooking freak like me. Canned and dried necessities as well like fermented bean and shrimp paste, tons of fish sauces, all kinds of soy sauce including hard to find sweet soy and even sweetened condensed coconut milk. I swooned. Curry leaves, fried onions and those Bitchen teeny dried shrimp. You get the gist. They had everything I needed except Fugu. But, unless you are looking for it specifically, you'd pass right by. The place looks teeny but explore - even if you are not a fan of Asian food, you should stop by with your kids. It is an awesome way to learn about a new culture in your own back yard. Hey, and you might get the kids to put the Baloney sandwiches down in favor of a bowl of green curry.

To me, theirs is the best. The chopped liver is surprising - rich but never grainy. My guilty pleasures include their curry chicken salad and macaroni salad. The butcher shop is great - although there are times when only one butcher is on duty and the wait is too long. The bakery has "everything" and their pizza shop outstanding. Their New York style pizza is one of the best anywhere in South Florida. Although I don't buy my wines there, their offerings are impressive - a broad and deep shop. Finally, their people are almost always friendly and helpful. Overall, I always have a comfortable shopping experience.

It was delicious & some of the best I have had. I saw seared ahi tuna in the entree case. I got two pieces for the hubs. He said while the tuna was good, it was not cut the right way which highlighted the sinew. The almond horns were excellent. Overall it was a good experience. But I will continue to frequent Joseph's Italian Market. Better food & less pricey.

We saw meatloaf, chicken piccata, lasagna, ribs, I mean I can go on and on. They also have a market to buy other goods. My one complaint is the staff. The guy who made our sandwiches was so polite, but he was the only one. The hot case is right next to the pizza, so you would think if the lady asked for some meatballs he would take care of it, especially since the deli line was so long. The guy in the pizza station had no customers, but still told the lady she had to wait and ask the deli for the THREE meatballs she wanted. Checking out was the same. Just rude, no acknowledgment. Will I still come if in the area, probably but I'll give them the same energy they give their customers!

So the dirty water gun was soaking in water that he was about to pour into people's glasses. I almost threw up. Then....we witnessed him drop the water jug into the ice - the same ice that servers were using to make drinks. Who knows where the bottom of the water jug has been as I'm sure he has put it down a time or two on bar tops, table tops, etc. And now, it's sitting in the ice. Gross. Lastly, there had to be 100 flies all over the outside bar. Regular flies and also fruit flies. I hate to leave this negative review but am doing so in the hopes that they clean up, because we really love Carmines.
