One of my favorite spots. If you're making a charcuterie report, I highly recommend stopping by Carmine's first.

Very good food! We had a private room within the restaurant since we had such a large group. They are so attentive to each guest needs

I found Carmine's on my way out of town and maybe that's a good thing because I would have been there everyday of my vacation had I found it sooner.

I didn't realize that Alaina's was a sit-down establishment that just so happened to have a refrigerated glass display of sweet treats, baked goods, and cakes to enjoy on-site or to go. Its aesthetic was a lot classier than I anticipated. I thought it would be more of a diner-type environment, but instead it's much more visually appealing as a dining area with both table and booth seating, serving high-end booze and solid cuisine. I ordered their two-egg sandwich with bacon and fruit, which allowed me to live my best life. It was delicious. Their bacon in particular was magical. The iced coffee black helped me wash it down. Price-wise, it was reasonable. I would need to come back for happy hour and discovered they have dinner as well -- originally thought it was only open through lunch hour. It comes off as much more upscale, especially once you enter the interior. I was impressed by Bruichladdich scotch selections on their liquor shelves, as well as their lovely Belgian beers in stock in the bottom-level fridge and on tap. They have brunch-themed cocktails to enjoy. I'll have to return with the missuses to enjoy more, as I was impressed by what I saw. But I need to try dinner there to confirm my speculation.

It was packed as we were walking up. Greeted my a lovely cashier who explained the seasonal drinks to me. I settled on the coconut cloud latte. We kept an eye out for a table while we waited for our order. The latte was fluffy with the cold foam but pretty bland until I used the cutest pink heart straw and tasted the sweetest at the bottom of the cup. For my lunch I ordered the ah turkey cheddAAA on jalapeño cheddar sourdough. The sandwich was massive and pre cut so I saved the other half for later. I didn't taste much jalapeño nor cheddar on the first half of the bread and the sandwich was also pretty bland. I rarely tasted the ligonberry drizzle. It would definitely be better if the ligonberry was in the actual sandwich. Hubby let me try a bite of the turkey lurkey he order and oh my it was amazing. The house made sage mayo and provolone were delicious. The turkey on the other half of my sandwich had more flavor and I finally tasted the jalapeño and cheddar in the sourdough. I guess all the flavors finally marinated together after sitting for a day. It still lacked the ligonberry taste so I will order the turkey lurkey on my next visit.

I really wanted to love this place again, but unfortunately I've been consistently disappointed…read more When Small Cakes first opened, I was genuinely excited to have a local cupcake option--especially because they regularly stocked mini cupcakes. They were the perfect little treat: enough to satisfy a sweet tooth without the guilt or wasting half a cupcake because it was too big. Over the past couple of years, though, the experience has gone downhill for me. Minis are never available anymore unless you special order days in advance, which completely defeats the purpose of a spontaneous treat. The selection is okay, but the flavors just don't hit the way they used to. They're good cupcakes--but they don't have that "wow" factor anymore. No tingle, no excitement, no craving for the next bite or urgency to try another flavor because it's so decadent. The staff has always been pleasant, so this isn't about service. It's really about the product and options. The cupcakes are large and expensive, and without mini options, they're not practical for a light, bite-sized treat. I truly wish there was more variety or better size options available without having to plan days ahead. I miss what this place used to be and hope it can get back there someday

It's very clean and nicely decorated inside. The young lady working was nice. Limited parking in the plaza. I found the cupcakes to pack more flavor in the icing and toppings. Stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes and let me just say...bihhhhh these cakes do not miss!…read more I tried the biscoff and the oreo flavors at this location. Our cafe at work has NBC on the menu so I've probably had many bundtinis from this location as well. Of thr bundlets, well one was super delicious, the other was good but missing the flavor mark. Both cakes were moist and fluffy, and of course Nothing Bundt Cakes does not play about that cream cheese icing baby. I even got extra icing on the oreo because...why tf not! However, that was a mistake lol Customer service was overall nice each visit. The location itself is a little tricky to find with all the businesses packed into the plaza; it's on the right when you turn in, front faces Northlake. I actually called while trying to locate it and was on hold for a long time, I was lowkey starting to get a little annoying. She came back to the phone right as I found the place. What really stood out the first visit was the gentleman that came from the back because he recognized my order. I was supposed to pick it up the previous day, and they had called me near closing time. I was working late and thought they closed at 8, but it's actually 7 (womp) so he changed my pickup time to the next day. When I walked in, he said, "You made it today!" and I was like hell yeah!!! I'm not letting that shxt happen again! The first visit was for my coworkers, but one of them gave me half of their cake. I already knew how good the biscoff was from when it rolled out the first time so I wanted to surprise them with it since neither had tried it. And while this location wasn't "as" good as my store in Houston, it's still fire! So I came back a couple of days later and bought another biscoff and oreo for myself this time. I ordered it with extra frosting. I said that was a mistake because ol girl tried to hand me any ol one when she couldn't find my order. So I called her on it and it was corrected but I had to wait for them to open one up and add frosting. On top of that, it was way too much icing, wasn't needed so I'm never going to bother with that again. Restaurant is small, of course like the others, not designed to seat and enjoy. Overall, great flavors, good service at this location. And shoutout to corporate because they listened to the people and brought the biscoff right on back; exactly why Nothing Bundt Cakes stays winning. I'll be back...mostly cause I got a BOGO offer on the receipt. My fat azz don't need to keep coming here....
