The Palm Beach Gardens Trader Joe's just keeps getting better. The produce is consistently fresh and well stocked, the selection hits the right balance of everyday staples and interesting finds, and the staff is genuinely one of a kind. These are people who actually enjoy being there and it shows. They go out of their way to help without being asked, and that never gets old. The meat section in particular has really leveled up over the last couple of years. Australian pasture raised ground lamb and shaved lamb shoulder have become regular purchases in our household, and the Angus brisket burgers at $11.99 are an absolute steal. Yes, the $9.99 price tag from 2 years ago was even better, but at today's price they are still among the best value burgers you will find anywhere. The frozen fish selection could use a little work and that is probably the one area with room to grow. But honestly that is a minor footnote in an otherwise excellent store. One thing that does get under my skin is the sheer volume of snacks, candies, chocolates, and packaged goodies that people have somehow normalized as everyday eating. More frustrating is how heavily seed oils show up throughout the store. They carry exactly one potato chip cooked in olive oil. Nearly everything else defaults to seed oils. Frozen processed items, salad dressings, EVERY condiment, EVERY premade item, prepared shawarma, seasoned chickens, marinated meats, even some of the frozen fish options contain them. Trader Joe's has the customer base and the brand credibility to do better here, and I hope they eventually will. We are loyal regulars and have zero plans to change that. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's! They have some great products. I especially like their health and beauty products, fantastic selection of $.99 greeting cards, frozen and produce departments, and sourdough breads. They also feature an Instagram bookshelf where they rotate popular products. There is always something new and exciting I stumble upon when shopping here. Finally, they have the best flower selection in town! I'm never disappointed nor do I leave empty handed whether it is a planned visit or impromptu one. It's so nice having a TJ's so close!! When I first moved here, literally, this was the first place I went to. And I haven't stopped coming yet. I have visited Delray, Miami, Wellington cause Trader Joe's is my jam and I try to visit all the nearby locations cause I'm crazy like that. Like I've been to all of them in Houston before moving to Florida and you just have to find your fav. Even beyond its close proximity to work and home, it's my favorite because I like some of the employees better. I didn't like Miami at all and frankly the parking garage is a clusterfck of foolishness. But parking is not an issue here, the store is a good size, they are typically stocked with my favorites. They always have the new items and popular items I see in my fb group. I really don't have many (if any) complaints about this location! read more

I've only been to a couple of Trader Joe's but this one was definitely not my favorite. The store was clean, and well lit, but things just seemed... off... Didn't seem to be a lot of staff on hand, the customers (way too many of them) were all entitled and pushy, and lots of empty spaces where things coulda/shoulda been stocked up. Don't get me wrong, we still stayed, we shopped, we bought, but the experience did not meet our normal expectations. Would not go back. read more

Me and my step mom had gone to breakfast this morning and gone to Trader Joe's to shop there as it's our favorite grocery store! We don't have a place near us in Port Saint Lucie (should add one there!) so we always go to this one when we can. We had an amazing experience there with shopping and everyone was so nice! After getting everything we needed, we went to checkout and had an absolute amazing individual named Pedro that helped us out at checkout. Pedro was an amazing person to talk to and communicate with. He was so very nice and very kind and friendly and actually had a conversation with us! It's hard to find nice people like him now sadly. He was amazing, kind, friendly, funny, helpful, and most importantly, very sweet. Out of everyone in the store, he was the most hardworking individual and ensured that every item was kept nicely! He definitely deserves a promotion, raise, higher pay grade, and a lot more recognition! He was amazing. I 100% suggest going to his checkout line and shopping with Pedro. He's amazing!! read more

This was my first time at a Trader Joe's location ever and my only complaint is the parking, that parking lot was beyond Jam packed. It was me going on a Saturday perhaps going on another day would have been less packed. However I found some of the best fruit in the store, all of which I've been eating. Everything I found was $5 and under other than my coffee. The prices are fantastic, I got a ton of different kinds of frozen food to try on out. Cookie butter is delicious a must have if you have a sweet tooth! They had a wonderful and huge selection of coffee to choose from. Wine was better priced than anywhere else you can shop at price wise too such a steal. Not to even all the employees greeted me with a smile, made some small talk and were incredibly kind. I heart Trader Joe's in PBG. They have great organic grocery items at a decent, fair price that brings me to a place of spiritual purity and strength, strength and spiritual purity. While the parking lot is crowded because it's a wee cramped, I usually find a space by the entrance within a reasonable walking distance. Once inside, my mind is captivated by the gluten-free muffins, fresh produce, quality cheese offerings, and very reasonably priced wine selection. They have the kombucha teas that I like and allow my core being to embrace synergy. Synergy. The chocolate peanut-butter Joe joes, if you are in the know, are the bee's knees if you please. I indulge in them when I need a sweet fix and become one with myself. The store clerks who have checked me out so far are very friendly and engaging. This Trader Joe's is in the same shopping plaza as Olive U, Raw Juce and Marshalls, in eastern Palm Beach Gardens. The small-ish parking lot is shared by all of the stores (which are usually busy), so the parking is pretty competitive and the overflow parking is a bit of a walk. Employees here are consistently pleasant with smiles. I have often engaged in pleasant conversation/banter on my way out. I have also made returns here, which are pleasant in that a receipt is not needed for Trader Joe's brands... which makes sense! I have a mild obsession with picking up a $1 greeting card on the way out. They have such cute and clever graphics and designs compared to regular cards, regardless of the impressive price! And that stilton cheese with apricots? So delicious! read more

I have been going to this store once a week since I moved to Palm Beach Gardens 7 years ago. The staff is always kind and every member is able to check you out really fast. They seem to genuinely love the store and care about your experience there. I have loved mostly every product that I have bought there. Specifically, the chocolate milk and the pizza bagels are off the chain. Nothing is gross here. After going to the nasty Costco in north palm beach I will never take Trader Joe's for granted again. read more

Grocery Trader Joe's / Guiseppe's / Giotto's / Ming's... the names go on and on depending on the category, but you get the idea: most of the items are privately branded and tend to be far from what you get at your usual grocery chain. Trader Joe's tends to cater more to the organic / fresh side of things. The store is typically set up as floral / fruit / product at the entrance , followed by dairy / breads and then canned good aisles. Frozen and refrigerated are also represented The selection of products is pretty far flung and there is definitely something for everyone. Me, I prefer the coffees, frozen Indian dinners, veggie burgers and junk foods. Sourdough bread is a staple and then I hit the snack section (it's not easy to maintain this weight you know) Prices are fair and the help is actually helpful there. The only downside is that the breads tend to mold quickly - probably because they are frozen during transportation. So keep that in mind. Checkout is usually quick and easy. The parking lot is a Mongolian Cluster-f#$k however, so exercise caution. read more

Longtime fan. Great prices and interesting items. All the pizzas I've had there are delicious and made in Italy. They have a nice Asian and Indian section of frozen foods that are good. I'm a fan of the frozen chicken tikka masala with the naan. The steamed pork buns are good too. The butternut squash Mac n cheese is yummy when in season. Lots of great pumpkin items. I could go on but worth going for yourself and trying a few things. read more

Five stars for this location! Definitely not the closest to me but now that I've found well-desired items that I've not been able to find at my closer TJ stores, this may well be worth the trek! McBride Sisters Wine is the reason for the additional star and what makes it stand out amongst its peers. Additionally, the service is great-- which can honestly be said of any Trader Joe's store that you go in to. Prices and items are unique and worth the wait in line as this store and all others practice social distancing. Additionally, the other stores in the plaza make your shopping trip worthwhile. Stop in and pick up a new accent rug from Marshalls then go over and pick up fresh squeezed orange juice that will never have you looking at any other competitor's oj-- dramatic (maybe) but sometimes you need to be a little extra when you find a win! read more

The only downfall about this place. I have to drive so out of my way to go here. I mean like this is a commitment. I love this place. The prices, the selection of amazing food options that I have never seen. Best time of year to visit is once Fall hits. Give me everything pumpkin and butternut squash. Trader Joe's, what's not to like. Their stores are always clean and well stocked. The fresh fruit and vegetables are super fresh. Meats and fish are wonderful and their frozen food items are amazing. Best of all the people that work there are hands down the nicest and most helpful people on the planet. Either they train them to be great or it's a cultural thing we're they all love their job. Lastly the prices are super reasonable. Wish the had a Trader Joe's in Tradition or Port Saint Lucie. It would be nice not to have to drive 45 minutes to shop. read more

I came here to purchase a few tote bags for my gf, I had came the other day before and it said 1 color limit per bag. I came back to purchase some, cashier Jennifer told me I could only purchase two tote bags when there was boxes of them. The cashier Jennifer was not nice at all. This is a bad image for Trader Joe's employees trying to regulate, but it felt more like a harassment, I tried to go back in to purchase the other two colors. As soon as I walked back in, she whispers to her co worker to go grab the tote bags back from me when I'm trying to check out because she said only 2. I felt like they were very threatening in a way that does not want me to go back there to buy ANYTHING. I went to another Trader Joe's in Wellington, and they let me purchase one of each color. I wasn't buying everything, just one of each color. This location is inconsistent. What kind of rule says you can only buy two bags when it's not even selling out with lines? No lines, nothing. They have plenty of bags, do they put a limit on those? No. So why is there a limit when there's no line?? Sometimes they need to treat people better, not like that. I am a paying f king customer. I didn't do anything but try to purchase a few tote bags one of EACH color. This place does not know how to do business. F em. So if you trying to go buy some bags, someone's watching you. Uncomfortable. Not stealing, but a customer being watched by cashiers and staff on how many bags you can purchase. Crazy. This Trader Joe's location need to get their act together. I've got to ask; I've been coming here for over 20 years. I went weekly to Trader Joe's in New York and when ever we are on vacation in the United States we start our trip at Trader Joe's stocking up on nuts, snacks, wine... for the road. I always bring my own bags I love the big refrigerated bag and I have a trunk full of Trader Joe bags that I bring along. This Trader Joe's is in a good location right off PGA Blvd in a high traffic strip mall. It's easy to spot from the street, though the parking lot requires some patience at times as it gets busy. Trader Joe's for me always has great deals on produce, nuts, and items I can't normally find at the local groceries I go to. They carry a decent amount of pre packaged vegan items as well which I appreciate. I particularly enjoy the TJ's soy chorizo which is far from health food, but it tastes great. I don't get it often as it's on the salty side and I don't particularly go for lots of sodium. However it's worth a try. Trader Joe's prices are usually much better then other places I go for similar items. The employees are always helpful and answer any questions you may have with a smile. read more

Summary: Trader Joe's has turned into a dumpster fire. I have been an avid TJ's shopper since 1981, when I went to my first store in Southern California. I now live in Florida. This review is about TJ's in general, and not limited specifically to the Palm Beach Garden's store. There is no TJs near my home, but I go to this store periodically when in the area have also been to one in the Orlando area. Both suffer from the same set of issues. My major criticism is their lack of items. I typically cannot get about 40% of the things on my list. This is hugely disappointing, and forcing me to shop elsewhere. Here are some examples of items they no longer carry or are constantly out of stock: - Gorgonzola cheese - Dates - Trader Joe's Grower's Reserve Chardonnay - Any of their in-house beers - Barbara's Morning Oat Crunch Original Cereal - Raisin Bran Cereal - Their traditional granolas The list goes on-and-on. My spend at TJs has probably decreased 50% because of these issues. I'm sure management's response will be these issues are related to pandemic. Maybe they can also blame it on World War II. In life, there are two types of people: those who deliver excuses, and those who deliver results. Let's see more results, and fewer excuses. read more

I like to come here every other weekend to stock up on my guilty pleasure... their boxed food! I absolutely love Trader Joe's, it is my favorite grocery to shop from. They always have the sweetest and most tasteful fruits, as well as a variety of vegetables and different snacks. Like dried mango and a whole dedicated nut aisle. The staff are always willing to help you find a certain product, or answer any questions you may have about certain foods. I also love the surfer vibe I get from Trader Joe's, there is also wall art that I think adds a nice touch to the establishment. The only complaint I have is that the parking lot is always packed, during the week and on the weekends. In my opinion Sunday is the busiest day to go to Trader Joe's. But besides that, I highly recommended coming to Trader Joe's in Palm Beach Gardens! read more

I have had two disappointing purchases recently. Bought lobster ravioli. Looks pretty with nice red and yellow striped ravioli. Taste like nothing, blah no flavor. What the heck is inside? Very disappointing. Never buy that again. Bought cranberries last week. The dried kind in the dried fruit and nut aisle. Tasted them and got a bad taste in my mouth. First of all they look old and number two they have cranberry seed oil on them and you can taste that oil. It destroys the taste of the cranberry. Somewhat like a rancid oil taste. Taking those back. I appreciate that Trader Joe's takes things back, no questions asked but it's a hassle to remember to take it back. Anyway that's my take on those items.
