First time I used delivery (it's free for 1st time) but the 1st item on my receipt was 5 paper grocery bags at .60 each. I just wasn't aware in advance, so now you are! I only had a $54 purchase and it could have been in only 3 bags, in my opinion. Plus, I had added a $10 tip for my shopper, which they keep 100% of. The order was delivered on time, quietly to my front door. There were a few substitutions I had approved in advance if not available, mostly of inorganic items for organic that I wanted, that lowered my final cost. Everything was in excellent condition. All in all it was worth it this time. It didn't really save me any time, because it took me over an hour to find what I needed online and they didn't have everything I wanted. But, I had been camping all weekend - my feet were killing me and I needed a shower, a nap, and to put everything away, and to wash everything. So I am happy my favorite grocery store has delivery service! When I think about it now, using Delivery probably saved me about $100. When I go into the store, I find so much great stuff, that I always spend another $100 on stuff I didn't know I had to have! LOL, which takes me an extra hour anyway. read more

I love Aldi! They have the best deals. You can get almost anything from the local grocery store for up to 50% off at Aldi's. This Aldi is in a great location. Plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping center. Even during busy days/hours, parking is never a problem. I've been here several times and have never had any issues. Items are usually in stock. I mainly come here for the sourdough round bread (with only 3 main ingredients) - my family is obsessed. They've been out of it a few times but fortunately, I've been able to find good substitutions. Store is clean and shelves are organized. The layout flows well. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They work quickly and efficiently, too. Even with usually just one cashier, they get people in and out within minutes, all while keeping a positive attitude! read more

Though there are many stores nearby, I have a soft corner for Aldi. Maybe its the pricing or maybe the quality of stuff. I cannot decide but its got really fresh groceries. Especially the produce section is usually spot on. They are not so huge as the chains of retail stores but you get all the necessary items here. Clansy is their own brand which also is pretty good quality. They generally have "hot buys" which are limited time items sp if you see it for a less price do grab it. You either love or hate Aldi based on your "needs". Pros: -Looks like a warehouse club without needing a stupid membership. -Great prices without needing a stupid card on my key chain. Cons: -Need a quarter if you need a cart, you get it back though when you return said cart. -Need to BYOB, bring your own bag, if you don't want to drop half your shit in the parking lot. Aldis, which also owns Trader Joes, has mostly generic stuff, but everything I have tried so far has been excellent. Their baking mix, the generic equivalent of Bisquick is half the price, and when I did a side by side pancake test, it was actually better! I got a bottle of 100% pure maple syrup for less than the price of all the "maple flavored" name brands at Kroger or Publix. The produce is cheap, incredibly cheap, as are eggs and milk. -Not a wide selection of anything, so if you need name brands or big variety, this is not your shop. -If you need to save money for your Bikram Yoga class, you will like Aldi. read more

Aldi's is a very good chain and the prices are awesome! Never mind you need a quarter to get a cart and you have to bring your own bags or they charge you 10 cents for one. Hey thats how they keep cost down. Aldi's gets a truck every day and sometimes you might see a product one week and the next week it's not there that's just how it is. They have a lot things in here thats the same as the name brand products you see in Publix just cheaper which works for me! I saw king crabs and lobster tails in here good prices! I finally allowed Candice M. to drag me in here to get my week's worth of groceries. I will say this place is HIGHLY disorganized you think you are in the section where the cheese should be and instead you are looking at turnips. However, the disorganization is how they are able to keep their prices down. Paid my $0.25 for my cart (don't worry you get it back if you put your cart away) and went to town. They have all the things you know and love but they don't say Jiffy or Kraft on the box. I was hesitant of that not because I don't eat generic stuff but because their items are a little to generic. Went to check out and got not 1 but almost 2 weeks worth of food for $55! That's unheard of not to mention I bought some fresh fruit as well as junk food. Cooked the food I bought and I have to say it was all tasted amazing! Tasted exactly like anything you would buy at Kroger. I took the Aldi challenge and now I am a believer! i just figured out why Aldi's milk stays fresher longer than other stores; its because they never hand stack it, they just wheel it in those huge carts from the truck to the coolers where you reach in the cart and get your milk. No physical handling of the milk cartons. And the same goes for their chips, everywhere else i buy chips half the bag is broken chips, why? Because they hand stack the bags; not Aldis. They stack the cases, no individual handling of the bags I'm eating a bag of kroger chips right now, I got 10 chips that were unbroken; the rest are broken. Aldi's does it smart. read more

TRADER JOE'S LITTLE COUSIN! I was in the store recently and noticed that there was only one guy working on the floor. When I was ready to check out, he was it! He explained to me that this particular location is not generating enough revenue, (due to competition from the local Target and Walmart), to warrant an additional staff member. What?? You people in this area need to get it popping! You have got to shop more so that the store can get better staffed. This is not my primary location but I do love stopping in to get some summer favorites. Here are some of the things you will want to grab during your next visit: Yellow squash and zucchini: great for the grill, (season with onion, garlic, and other seasonings of choice, add a light oil (grapeseed) and a little charcoal) Absolutely delicious! The mango and tangerine juice is absolutely the hit of the summer! 100% juice and delicious! Don't forget the 100% apple juice as well. The fresh nectarines, mangoes and spinach are great alone and in a breakfast smoothie. You will also want to pick up some of the frozen fruits as well, (blueberries, strawberries and tropical mix). Brussel sprouts are all the rage for some reason but you can actually prepare them yourself. I like to steam mine for just a few minutes, slice them in half, saute them with garlic, onion and light oil and lightly brown. They should still have some bright green color and have great texture. Do not overcook! The blue chips are very thin, light seasoned and a staple at my house. You must try these. I love them in my soup, alone and as a base for my nachos. Try some of their light flatbread pizzas, they are delicious as well and a nice way to lighten up for the summer. Aldi's is not for everyone and it takes time to get accustomed to this store. I remember walking in and walking out a couple of times before I figured it out about five years later. I was just going in and taking a very superficial look at things before deciding that it was not my kind of store. Now, I am hooked! Give it a chance and you too will be hooked and remember this store is owned by the same German company that owns Trader Joe's! read more

Great store. Food is good. When milk is on sale, it is a bargain. Other dairy is also good. So far, all products I've tried has been close to exact match to name brand. Meat is good quality. With 2 teen boys, I need a lot of food. Savings is worth it. However, if you need special/specific items for a recipe, you'll need to stop by Kroger to get unique items. read more

Aldi is great. This store is plain and simple, literally. Their prices are rock bottom! Their produce is always fresh. For those of you who have not experienced Aldi, bring a quarter to rent a cart. Yes, if you want a cart you have to rent one for a quarter but upon it's safe return you will get your quarter back. Bring your own bags as well. They charge for bags. This is a no frills grocery store. They charge for things that are normally rolled into the price, passing savings on to the consumer. So the idea of customer service is lost on this place. No one at the register and customers had to hunt them down. Then a customer had to go back and get something, his order hadn't gotten started being ring but his items were on the belt...I had 2 items and could have been rung and gone but instead he started ringing and I had to wait till he got back. Aldi is an odd little shop in an odd little shopping center location, but I like it. First off this isn't a glamorous place, it's simple and inexpensive, things are displayed out of their shipping boxes. When you walk in the door you are greeted by this weeks specials. (Some things change weekly at this place, you may want to snag one) Think IKEA, but a whole lot smaller, when walking through the isles. Just follow the flow of traffic from entrance to exit. As you wander through the isles, you will see 'meal type' items placed together, which is nice if you haven't already created a meal plan. The center isles are loaded with items that change frequently, so some extra browsing time may be needed. Bring your own bags, or you can purchase some at the register. Many times I am just buying the European chocolate ( which I highly recommend) so, I can carry that out in my arms...no bags needed. As you leave, makes sure you snag the sales specials for next week! It's always nice to have a plan. read more

I've been going to Aldi for over 10 years, I was first introduced when living in the Memphis area and now I am very excited that there are 2 locations, Milton and Alpharetta/Roswell. They are all over the country. If you are not familiar with their low price concept, then try to go with the flow. They do everything to keep prices low. Service low, quality of basic products high. You are not going to find everything here, if you have your favorite, obscure items at other stores. But if you purchase the basics, you will save half. Their generic products are developed just for the stores and they are of the highest quality. Maybe even better than name brand products. The fruit and vegetables, chicken and meat are good quality and much cheaper than even WalMart. If you want to be a regular customer AND get first pick, find out when they get trucks deliver 3X per week. If you already bring your grocery sacks, then you are good to go. If not, pay a few pennies. When you are saving 80cents or a dollar on a gallon of milk, you shouldn't mind. I highly recommend this store, and for the money I save... I had to take back a product and the manager apologized several times and helped us exchange the product along with giving us the double back money guarantee! Maybe I'm being a grocery store snob, but this place isn't up my alley. Others might appreciate this place, but I definitely wasn't feeling it. It might have been the bad industrial, chemical odor that lingered throughout the building, or the general depressing ambiance (fueled by the bad smell). ALDI has excellent quality groceries and produce, but popular items such as plain almond unsweetened milk and 45 calorie bread often sell out. The dairy items are good too except they don't carry fat free cottage cheese. My wife won't eat ice cream from anywhere else. Most items are made for ALDI and few name brands are available. Prices and quality can't be beat and the number of organic items is surprising if they have what you need. read more

Low prices = good. Crappy customer service = bad. If your looking to save money and don't mind off brand products and bad CS this is the place for you. Employees here will ignore you as they roam the isles and when you get to the checkout line you'll be lucky if you get a warm welcome. My first experience here sucked, let me explain. I loaded up my cart to the top, I got to the checkout line, cashier didn't even say hello and I started off loading, I didn't realize they don't bag your groceries until it was too late. I don't mind paying for bags coming from the Bay Area, CA. where they no longer provide them. What bothered me was the cashier didn't say anything about it or even asked if we wanted bags before she just dumped everything into another cart. I was pissed...once I realized what happened, I bought a few bags, walked out, steam coming out my ears and bagged my own stuff while putting it in the car. WTF! Not sure if I will come back again. Might be willing to give them one more chance now that I know what to expect, but definitely at a different location. In all honesty I rather pay more at Kroger's and have better customer service than pay less to deal with lazy employees. read more

Not something I have ever encountered and want to share my story: When I was checking out, I noticed the grocery belt was really dirty and looked like someone either broke some eggs or spilled something sticky. I was looking for a clear spot on the moving belt so I could place my groceries while the cashier looked at me impatiently. I figured she was not aware so i told her that the belt is really dirty and I cant find a clean spot to place my groceries. I expected a polite response but instead the Jeanette the cashier snapped at me with rude words and i was certainly shaken up to hear. Jeanette was very rude to me and embarrassed me saying that "I can go to the next register if I did not want to check out here". I noticed there was already a long line on the next register and besides at this point I had already placed some of my groceries on the line and she had already started ringing the groceries up. When I asked her if I could talk to her supervisor? She snapped back at me again saying LOUDLY "I AM THE SUPERVISOR SO YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ME!!! I told her that she didnt have to be rude to me and at this point, she snapped back saying that I was rude to her. I am sure Aldi's has cameras and should have access to this episode. She continued mouthing off with her bad attitude. I am sorry for Jeanette and maybe she was not trained properly or maybe she was just having a bad day. I hope I am bringing this story to get ALDI's attention on this matter because there is an active COVID virus going on and cleanliness should be the first priority and besides this - I am hoping you are providing customer service training to your employees. Jeanette displayed a very bad behavior and this has been a very embarrassing experience for me. I do hope to hear back from you and at the most -do hope you keep a clean grocery store. Aldi is amazing. Great food for cheap prices. They aren't you're typical grocery store with displays and banners everywhere. You will rarely find "brand" names in the store but that says nothing for the quality. Everything I've bought there has been good and sometimes better than the brand name. In order to cut down on costs, everything is minimalistic, even down to the shopping carts. In order to use a cart you have to put a quarter into the slot and when you return the cart your quarter is returned back to you, thus to cut down on costs for hiring someone to do it. And make sure to bring your own bags or pay 0.10 per plastic bag you use (these are costs normally included in supermarket prices.) It may seem like a hassle but the money you save is worth it. Oh and they have wine too! read more

I really like Aldi, however, I do not like the smell when I walk through the door. The floors have a sticky grundge feeling. This is the only complaint I have regarding the aesthetics, I do not frequent the store because of it. I hate food shopping when I do, I want my surrounding to be pleasant. Aldi does not meet my needs. I shop Trader Joes, their cousin supermarket. I really would like to shop Aldi's but for the reasons above, I will not shop there. Advertised items are always out of stock, evven on the first day of the weekly flyer. After returning back so many times, I started feeling it's just a ploy to advertise low prices for out of stock items. No rain checks. Employees don't even care to check them in the store. read more
