Depressing store. This Aldi tries to be a grocery store but it looks like a failed Big lots inside. I was shopping for just a few things, like some frozen vegetables and maybe some bamboo shoots. The selection of frozen vegetables was barely existing, and I couldn't find any Asian type foods at all. I got really tired of looking because the place is just depressing. Checked in last night and had a happy and enjoyable experience thanks to the friendly and welcoming Staff at this location! I stocked up on my favorite Cranberry Walnut Bistro Salads and Pepperoni Hot Pockets, and added some fresh raspberries and Blackberries to my cart as well. This store is very well organized and neatly labeled, and I love how there are Cashback options at the checkout line as well! The store also has a section with free Cardboard Boxes that helps Customers organize our groceries and makes transporting them to our Car a lot easier as well. I definitely recommend this Aldi's location for your Fridge Stocking Refills! I love Aldi so, I don't know how anyone hate them! They have a great prices and so many unusual items. I absolutely love that. I found Date Syrup that I use instead of sugar now. That's just one of the great products I discovered here. I can also tell you that they have very strict standards of cleanliness in order to do business with their vendors. It's one of the toughest audits to pass. So, that makes me feel good about whatever I purchase here. The only thing I can say that has changed over the years is the amount of checkout staff ever since they added more self-checkout registers. The bad thing about that is you can't use self check out if you buy alcohol. That part is kind of a pain because they usually only have one register open. As far as needing a quarter for the cart, I always keep a couple in my car at all times. It's not a big deal to get such great prices and products! read more

The red headed male manager was easily the rudest worker I've ever met. An elderly lady was having trouble getting a cart and he talked to her like a child and in the end said "it really isn't that hard" and when I confronted him about his attitude he had a nasty attitude to me too. Update: The customer service is horrible. 85% of the employees are rude. There is rarely anyone at the cashiers and god forbid you ask them to help you pay for something. One of the employees was restocking one of the freezers with boxes and boxes of dairy and she clearly saw me standing there needing to get something but kept restocking. Never asked what I needed until after standing there for two min, I finally asked. Horrible! read more

Aldi is not my first priority when it comes to the grocery store because it's the furthest drive but whenever I am in the area for my eye lash appointment, I always make sure to stop by. Every time I have stopped by, it is never packed which I love and it's super spacious and clean. I also love the self check out, making it quick to check out. This is by far my favorite Aldi location in the area. We love that they are always fully stocked and the store is always clean. Aldi prices are unbeatable. My favorite items to purchase from Aldi are green grapes, brioche bread, oat milk, eggs and chicken sausages. Last time we'll be shopping at Aldi. My family and I are longtime customers. Today we saw endless rows of old food scattered with discount stickers around the store. Dirty store, no plastic bags to hold produce and just 2 employees working. Aldi is a wonderful store. Prices are great and quality is outstanding. There is NEVER a problem with what they sell. It's the customer service that is lacking. I've been to both the Chino and Mira Loma locations. Staff in both locations are need of training...training to treat customers with simple kindness and helpfulness. Went back to my favorite ALDIs . And was able to purchase quite a bit of groceries. Two shopping carts to be exact. Only paid $307 for all that. If I went to any other grocery store would have paid around $500 to $600. This is the perfect store to go to during these hard times. I highly recommend them. read more

Sandra was struggling this morning. She got a long line all of a sudden and didn't know how to do her job. She started ringing my items with someone else's items and blamed the convey belt like hello you have a switch. Stop it if it's not registering something to stop the items from flying everywhere. Then I figured she was going to double ring or charge extra and sure enough she did. Wish they had more self check out open cause she was a mess. Get it together lady! read more

We're familiar with Aldi, and was excited to try them out. They just opened, so I totally get that some kinks need to be smoothed out. Decent selection, though, like other Aldis, it won't necessarily have everything you're looking for. But totally a great place to just browse and pick up things you weren't originally there to shop for. Prices are decent, as well. Parking was good. Didn't need to wait for a space; just parked in a readily available one. Employees were fine. Didn't have any bad experiences with anyone. Biggest gripe was the shopping carts. For all Aldis, you put in a quarter to unlatch a shopping cart to use. Dunno what happened but the quarter got stuck, couldn't get it back, and also couldn't get the shopping cart out even with the quarter in there. Another customer that was leaving kindly gave us the cart they were using so that we didn't need to use up another quarter. It sounded like he went through a lot of the same frustration in getting the cart initially, too. We tend to only visit Aldi for certain nice-to-have items, and not absolute necessities, so we'll probably visit again in a few months. read more

I usually enjoy shopping here but I stopped by at 5:45 pm which is rush hour and we are all trying to shop to rush home and make dinner. Tell me why were 5 self check out machines closed. I've been in love with this store since I visited my first one in Vermont 20 years ago. I've shopped here long enough to know what works for me and it's a lot. The chicken's a great price and quality, all milk products have an excellent price. They do wonderful mark downs after holidays on candy and seasonal items, including meat. Bananas if they're not sold out are the best price in town. Between Costco visits I purchase their cleaning and paper products. My cat will eat their canned food. Canned foods are priced below grocery stores. In the produce section you might want to look the item over closely if there's a markdown. I've returned a few items with no questions asked. If you need a quarter, ask the cashier for one. The floor staff is helpful and the cashiers are timed and hustle up. There are a lot of homeless in the area so I think a code for the bathroom is acceptable, Panera has a code too. read more

Overall, I really like Aldi. I find that they have the best prices on produce, and the quality is usually really good. I also tend to buy baking products from there as they are usually cheaper than most other stores. Normally, I would've rated Aldi much higher except today I learned that the only way to get the discount price on meats is to go to the cashier directly. If you use self check out, the machines do not register the sale price and you'll end up paying full price. That is quite disappointing and I can only imagine how many people have not realized that they didn't get the discount. Nowhere in the store does it tell you that you need to check out with a cashier in order to receive the sale prices. read more

I'll start off by saying we're huge fans of Aldi so I was excited that they were building one even closer to our house! We used to visit the norco one frequently. I came here today ( they opened on the 8th I believe) and loved it. Stock looked good - had some spaces in the food section but understandable with the supply chain issues right now. Had tons of Christmas decor and as always great prices. The store was very clean and I was surprised to see self checkouts which is exciting for those quick trips to aldi! We actually saw a lot more workers than normal and everyone was very nice and said hi. Remember your quarter for the carts! read more

Underwhelming and I wasn't expecting much to begin with. They have different things from the local grocery stores, but not much of a grocery store. Kinda small but it is clean. Check out is mainly self serve which I'm not a fan of. Bags didn't last long and I even bought extra so they would be light. Overall it was meh at best. Honestly wasn't happy when I first heard we were getting an Aldi instead of one of those big name grocery stores. But after having used them since they opened as my local grocery they have been incredible. They have the stuff I need to make daily meals. Sure they might not have the largest selection or very specific less common ingredients, but that's what Ralph's and Vons is for down the street. I'll take the incredible low priced daily items over having a larger inventory that I wouldn't use on the regularly. I have become a patron of Aldi and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good grocer with standard everyday goods. read more

I don't know if they only had 1 person working or what the deal was. I had to self check out because no one was at the register. I needed help, pushed the button twice and the 2nd time she yells at me from the register that is now open asking me what I need help with. I tell her the pack of chicken has no barcode and can't look it up. She tells me she can't sell it if it doesn't have a barcode... okay. What's the point of employees if they can't help. I could have easily sent one of my kids to get another pack but with that response I sure didn't. I understand rush hour or not enough employees but if that's what your customer service is, then don't work with people. read more

I like Aldi, but I don't think the bathrooms have been cleaned properly since this place opened which sadly, is not that long ago. The white sink is now gray. The floor has dried gum that has turned black. I had to use the bathroom with my toddler and it was so gross. The same with the floors outside. This place is so dirty. read more

Great prices especially on sale items. But you can't use self check for meat on sale. Didn't see any signs indicating that. Was told sale meats have to go through check out lane three. Of course no cashier there and was told someone would be there soon. No cashiers in sight at any check stands. Five minutes minutes later someone showed up and by then there were three people in line. They weren't busy at all. Less than ten shoppers in the store. Cashier Diana today said cash only so that we could have an human ring up our groceries. Diana said we could use a card if we wanted to self check out. I had a terrible experience at this Aldi. I always bring my extra quarter to use my cart but stuff happens and whenever I forget it employees are usually kind and let me borr a quarter. Yesterday 3/21 I went in to shop with my 2 toddlers and asked if I could borrow a quarter since I forgot my wallet. I asked a tall African American employee ( can't remember his name) to borrow one to put both my toddlers in and shop. he stated he could not just "give me a quarter" and that I needed to give him a dollar so he could give me change. I was understanding since I did forget to bring one. my problem is not there ( I eventually asked another customer if I could have their cart and they said yes) my problem is with the fact that when we where checking out two grown women with no kids came and asked him( in front of me while he is scanning my groceries) if they could borrow a quarter and without saying anything, he hands them a freaking quarter. i would understand if he had said no to them and to me , but the fact that he chose to not help me out when I clearly needed it more, made me furious. and when he was transferring my groceries to the other cart, he deliberately put the groceries on the section where my two babies were gonna go on and fill it up by thetime my husband started taking them out. I love Aldi and had never had an experience like this in my life every other location except this one has been very accommodating and kind.
