I'm not crazy about this location for produce (ironically). I find the prices to be quite high for the quality. (The last time I bought produce here it spoiled within 2-3 days.) However, I do like coming here for flowers. They usually have a good selection at very fair prices and the stems last longer than the grocery store. I bought some potted plants here once but was sad to see they died literally within 24 hours. I would stay away from the potted plants - they must be very stressed out. They accept cards which is nice but cash is preferred here. Very no frills inside, but ample parking with a Dollar General next door. read more

I'm disappointed. I had such high hopes of going in and falling in love. With such a good location so close to home I wish i liked this place better. Not a fan of the separate lines for fruit here, veggies over there. Although there were a few older folks in front of me and they brought mixed baskets to get checked out in one line. There was not a good variety of produce to pick from. On the apples, I saw signs of all these different choices, yet only one kind visible. I didn't like the produced bagged and stationed behind the counter. I prefer to look thru the bags myself. I didn't like the layout. The workers were like robots, no Hi, how's it going, nothing. Just hand over your money and keep going. There were seemed to be a good variety of plants. But besides that and location, this isn't my cup of tea. read more

Sure it would be great to go to one place to get all your groceries but this place is great and is worth the extra trip. THE place to go for cheap produce. Quality is generally pretty good, but every now and then you'll get a bag of veggies that doesn't last the day before starting to go bad. There are 3 different lines, veggies on the left, and fruits on the right, and flowers near the front entrance. Not sure why, but you have to pay for each one in the respective line. For example, you can't buy kale and apples and pay for it all at once. You need to go to the veggie line for the kale, then go over to the fruit line to pay for the apples. Not a big deal, but good to know when you roll up to the fruit counter with a cart full of veggies. We shop here all the time, and will continue to do so. read more

I have such a love/hate relationship with Produce Junction. If you know what you're getting into, PJ's is A-MAZ-ING, the prices can't be beat and the store is easy to deal with. But with a touch of anxiety or being slightly unprepared, Produce Junction can be hit or miss. Pros: It all starts with the price - that's why you're here. Their prices, while still seasonal, really can't be beat. It's the best deal on produce in the area this side of finding a quality, cheap farmer's stand out in the middle of nowhere. If you want reliable deals, then this is the place. The Marlton location in particular has improved immensely with a massive selection of items easily placed into your cart. They still have many standards behind the registers (more in this in a minute), but I think moving more items into the shopping "area" helps me a lot. Service is fast and efficient. I note other reviews about how nice they are, but I've always found them pleasant but fast. Cons: The stupid fruit and veggie line is still annoying and I don't know why they do it. It used to be much more hardlined on this, but I think with the acceptance of credit cards, they've changed a little. Still, why are there separate lines to get peppers and squash and onions and then another for bananas and apple and lemons? Usually, I only need a few additional fruit items (many are already on the main floor) so I just ask and they're willing to grab them, but it's really hit or miss and sometimes my wife and I just split up and hit both lines at once. Quality is, well, really hit or miss. We've gotten the sweetest, most delicious apples and honey dew here, but also some really pathetic looking bananas. The greens tend to last only a few days and either need to be consumed or frozen. If you're a larger family (or even just 4+), then this might be ideal, but for just my wife and I, we find we need to plan accordingly to consume certain vegetables and items sooner and know which items can last longer. This is particularly true with certain greens like the spinach. The layout is confusing at first and cramped once you're used to it. I accept that this is part of why they are so inexpensive! Other Notes: They now accept credit cards which is really helpful. I don't regularly shop their plant section, but it always looks nice and we've snagged a few items before at great prices. read more

This place is great in theory-- great selection of fruit and vegetables for low prices. However, it's been a disappointment in reality. First, the fact that it has nothing other than produce makes it a special stop for any weekend grocery run, in addition to our other usual spots that carry everything. This would be worth it if the produce was high quality, which brings me to my second point: The quality of the produce is always a guessing game. While some items have been good, a lot have been rotten (or spoil within a day), or taste really gross. The strawberries we get always need to be thrown out in 2 days because they get covered in mold. The cherries lasted longer, but have no taste whatsoever, and some are even bitter. I love fruit - they have cheap fruit. I love veggies - they have cheap veggies. I love fresh flowers - they have cheap fresh flowers. As you can see, I'm a fan. Produce Junction is great! If you're looking to purchase fresh food/veggies/flowers, there's no place that does it better on a budget. I recently bought 2 packages of blackberries for $3... a huge bag of bananas for $2... bags of salad for like $1 each (in the supermarket they're $3something)... a huge container of strawberries for $1.50. The prices are out of control! Yes, it's semi-annoying that you need to pay once at the fruit counter and again at the vegetable counter, but that's a small price to pay for the money you're saving on the freshest food around. This place is amazing. They sell fruits and veggies and plants at an amazing price. The store is bare bones - nothing is pretty about this store but the prices are well worth it. 5 ears of corn for $2 ( I paid 3 for $2 yesterday at a different store). I got 3 big sunrise cacti for $2! These are way bigger than you'd get at a big box store or a private garden center. Two African violets for $2.50 - again much bigger than average. Nice patio planters with a variety of flowers for $9 and hanging baskets 3 for $20. The down side is they are very crowded in the weekends and your cart is always running into someone. Also plants are in stores on the floor so there aren't many straight aisles in the stores. So 3 cacti, 2 African violets, one hanging basket, one house plant,5 ears of sweet corn, and a reduced rate mandevillia (not blooming) cost me $22. I paid $26 for a mandevillia alone in costco. This place also has bulk flowers so you can pick up flowers for a wedding or a function if you are planning in arranging them yourself. This store is about an hour from my house but I do love coming down here when I have the time. . read more

Interesting set-up...you walk-in and there is one line for fruit and one line for vegetables. Prices are cheap and produce seems fresh. You can buy flowers, dried fruit and nuts here. I also think this place is nice because it doesn't smell like a rank fish exploded like the produce section of the asian grocery store on spring garden. read more

My wife was here with her mother shopping for fruits and vegetables the gentleman at the counter try to overcharge her 11 bucks for her fruits when my wife said how does this equal $22 when it's supposed to be 11 she asked for the manager and they looked at each other she didn't say anything to him these people are ripping people off left and right please be careful they're overcharging and putting the money in their pockets. read more

I bought five items Peppers, corn, zucchini, peaches, sweet potatoes The peppers were good, the zucchini very good , the peaches were HORRIBLE- right into the garbage, many of the potatoes were rotten, and the corn had no taste at all. Really great place to get your vegetables and fruit because it's so freaking cheap! Some cons: you don't get a receipt-they quickly add up how much you owe with mental math, so if you don't know exactly how much you owe you may be overcharged. You kind of feel rushed here, so it's best to make a doing list if you go. Finally the produce may not always be the freshest and can go bad pretty quickly compared to a regular grocery store. For the price though, can't complain too much. It's a fraction of the cost of what you pay at grocery stores. Be warned that you cannot buy organic here! read more

We are trying to go further living within our means and a place like this is such a godsend! The prices are incredible and I always begin my grocery shopping week here--I only buy elsewhere if I can't get it here first. In general, the vegetables are of higher quality than the fruit and occasionally you can get some poor quality vegetables, as well. But, if you're careful and shop wisely, you can really come away with a ton of food for very little money. I find the large quantities not a problem. For instance, two bunches of kale can easily be frozen when you get home and will last. I do the same with the cut broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, brussels sprouts, etc. Anything that doesn't freeze well and is in large quantities (eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes), are put into the instant pot and made into soup or stew, like minestrone or ratatouille (there are plenty of great recipes on YouTube for this). The only thing missing is dried beans. But, I can pick these up for dirt cheap at The Dollar General or at Trader Joe's. They also have some exotic fruits like dragon fruit and lychee nuts. I haven't tried any of it yet but I'm sure I will! read more

Never ceases to disappoint. I don't buy any produce here any more because it all either is rotten when you open the bag, or absolutely horrible tasting. Don't waste your time or money. I figured I'd give it one more try since so convenient for me: bought a bag of what looked to be gorgeous Cara Cara oranges. UGH tasteless and dry.....I'm not surprised, this place buys the bottom of the barrel produce and makes a dollar selling to us! read more

This is a place I've heard a lot about and have been wanting to get to. They have a few locations. So I finally made it to the Marlton location. My first impression was that the place is very clean and well lit. It was easy to navigate my way through the store. They have a really good selection of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Usually places like this, I notice that the prices are good but the fruit or vegetables will be ready to spoil. This was absolutely not the case here. Everything is fresh and the prices are really really good. I would absolutely recommend people go here. They only accept cash, although there is an ATM in the store. The only other thing that I have is that there are 3 separate lines. One for fruits, one for vegetables, and one for flowers. This was kind of a pain and it didn't seem to make a lot of sense. They said it was for quicker check outs which maybe is true but the place wasn't that busy. That was really my only complaint. Other than that give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more
