Just revisited the farm and realized I've never written a review. As a family we've been going for a least a decade. So we've seen the pricing increase over the years, but it's still worth it for wholesome family fun. We usually visit once per season and this visit was for u pick strawberries. It was the perfect day for it as the weather was very pleasant-70's, partly sunny, no rain, with a slight breeze. The hayride felt bumpier than usual, but the kids loved it and didn't notice, which is most important. Afterward, we enjoyed some farm fresh ice cream while sitting on a bench and people watching. We'll be back for u pick blueberries next month hopefully, pumpkins, apples, and apple cider donuts in the fall. read more

Visited Johnson's Farm this past fall in the late afternoon / early evening. What a cute spot to celebrate fall! Most things were closed down by the time I arrived (would love to visit earlier in the day next season), but we were still able to walk around and explore their pumpkin display, shop in the home decor store, and try some treats from their market. The pumpkin displays were lovely and perfect for a photo op. The home decor store had such adorable and seasonal items, all at fairly affordable prices. The market offered a number of treats made on-site or locally. Of course, they have their apple cider donuts (delish!) and a variety of apple ciders (particularly liked the sparkling cider option), but also a lot of breads, locally made more savory items, other beverages, candies, etc. Truly something for everyone! It wasn't too cold, so we enjoyed a donut and our cider outside on their many benches for guests. This was a pretty quick visit, but we hit all the highlights! I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the day (I'm sure it's a popular spot for field trips). Johnson's is ALWAYS a treat!!! One of my fav farm/ markets. There's SO much stuff to look at (like home goods lol), fresh baked goods and a wonderful selection of fresh produce. They always have events going on and I believe they have pick your own too? I haven't dabbled into that, too lazy lol but you can literally make a day of coming here! The donuts are not made in house. They come frozen and all they do is heat them up for 5 mins in and oven then coat them in cinnamon and sugar. I believe people deserve the right to know what they are eating. The donuts are not bad but they are not in house made. read more

Good for smaller younger kids. Hayride needs tickets to go to picking which needs to be paid for. So you're paying for entrance, the ride and picked products. Other farms hayride is part of the entrance fee since, but not an issue. Business is business. There is food service options but the quality could be a lot better. Overall we enjoyed our time here. Today my girlfriend Angie and I decided to go pumpkin picking at Johnson's corner farm. The hayride was so much fun and we got a huge pumpkin to carve for Halloween. We decided to also go Apple picking and sunflower picking which was a lot of fun. The apples were the best apples I ever tasted so crisp and fresh. It was a fun time for us and the staff was so friendly at the farm, I've been coming here for years and it's always like your part of the family when you're there. They have lots of family activities for kids and families as well. We decided to have lunch too and got some fresh lemonade and a turkey sandwich. We worked up an appetite after all that pumpkin picking. The inside is full of knickknacks and delicious goodies, I'd recommend stopping in to see what treasures await you. Came here for hayride and strawberry picking on Saturday morning. There was not a lot of people, mostly families and kids. The strawberries were ripe and sweet, you just have to make sure to walk a little further out and avoid the ones on the ground. There were also a bunch odd shaped deformed strawberries which was interesting to see. Also, just come prepared with a hat and sunscreen because it did get pretty hot under the sun. I also got a watermelon from the market and it was super juicy! It was such a fun experience & I would definitely come back again. read more

Visited Johnson's Corner Farm in October on a Sunday. Walking up to the farm was shocking to see so many people in line; very crowded. Our time slot reservation was for 4pm (all the other times were sold out; when we purchased days in advanced). We had to wait in line for 30 mins until the hayride pulled around. I understand that if you prefer a less crowd; you can visit during the weekday but that's not always possible for everyone's schedule. Also, we are still in a pandemic. What was the purpose of reserving a time? It was very disappointing to wait in such a long line. Especially, when an excited child is ready for some fun! First, stop was to pick apples. The pink lady apples seemed like one of the fans' favorite because there were not a lot on the trees or mostly on the ground. A lot of the other apples appeared to still be on the trees. We had to walk further down to find some pink lady apples; which was fine. Picked a few to purchase. Then, the hayride took us to pick pumpkins which was fun (trying to find your favorite pumpkin). It started to get breezy outside but we found cute pumpkins to purchase. Lastly, we looked around at the animal farm. Not sure where the food was located to feed the animals but it looked like you're able to give the cows, pigs, goats, etc corn (down a white pole for them to eat it). Interesting. There's also places for kids to play. By the time we got off the hayride, it seemed that some of the concession stands were closed and what was opened was packed. Overall, we had a funday. read more

I found Johnson's Corner Farm as one of the featured farms on a yelp list. By the description (and proximity) we decided to give them a try for our fall visit. Due to the volume of people they expect during the weekend, we bought our tickets in advance and had to select our time slot. By the time we booked (on the Tuesday prior to the weekend visit) most of the morning slots were sold out but we were lucky to get a slot before noon. You have as early as the Monday prior to book your weekend reservations. The weekdays do not require advance tickets. We were a group of 5, 4 adults and 1 child. The cost was ~$7pp for adults and free for children under 12 months. This includes the hayride to the Fall destinations of the farm (apple orchard, pumpkin patch, & sunflower fields). Other areas of the farm are a la cart, such as the petting farm and corn maze. Both of which I was not interested in since I wasn't in the mood to dodge animal poop or being lost. Upon arrival we realized how popular this place is, the parking lot was full and that was only 11:30am. We walked to the entrance where there were a lot of people in line for the hayride to the main event and locations. While there were a lot of people, the lines moved pretty quickly since they had multiple tractors for pickup. First stop, the orchard was massive and sectioned off to help distinguish which trees are ready for picking. They were marked to help decide which apples you wanted to pick. They provided 2 bag sizes and the apples were $1.99/lb. You had the freedom to stay as long as you liked and hop on the hayride whenever you liked. The next stop on the hayride was the pumpkin patch and sunflower field, which we had the option to purchase those items as well besides the obvious photo ops. Again, could stay as long as we liked. The last stop was the purchase area where you bought your items from the stops and then there were tents with other items for sale such as cider donuts, pies, cider, and more. Upon leaving, there were even more cars filling the additional parking areas created so I'm sure the stops were filled with folks. So the earlier the better for the best experience. read more

This farm is great for people of all ages, but is especially good for kids! They have an extremely large pumpkin patch with lots of different size pumpkins and gourds. They also had sunflowers that were $1.50 each. The hayride out to the pumpkin patch and sunflower fields was fun and a short distance. We did buy the corn maze passes as well, however I wouldn't recommend it. If you are with kids I'm sure it's lots of fun. However as an adult the corn maze was too easy and there were no places where you could potentially get lost. The prices here for all of their activities are very cheap and it's a great fall day activity! read more

Today on October 3rd 2023, George & I came to Johnson's Corner Farm to pick some apples , pumpkins , & sunflowers , & also to get a Hayride too. So far everything was tons of fun; picking apples (different types: Fiji & Red Delicious) apples, beautiful sunflowers & a big huge pumpkin . The service there was excellent too, everyone was so welcoming, polite and nice too. Johnson's Corner Farm is for couples & families with little ones too. It's cute for anyone who wants to eat something delicious from Johnson's or to get something warm to drink like hot chocolate, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches or what ever you desire. Johnson's also has 2 farm houses and inside them has nicknacks, jewelry, food, beverages, and much more. You'll be surprised when you go inside & also very satisfied when you come out. This was such a fun place for my toddler! We came on a Sunday, and it wasn't busy at all, but I can imagine it being a little crazy if the place was packed! Pros - Restrooms were really clean - the play area was well kept and clean. Absolutely loved that the splash pad had a baby area and older kids area - nice picnic area to eat lunch or snacks - plenty of parking - very reasonable prices for the veggies picked for the pick-your-own experience Cons - they advertised to us that there were blueberries to pick, but there were barely any. We ended up just giving away the small pile of blueberries we found to another family and got some green beans instead - prices for their baked goods seem a little overpriced Great place for family with little ones! Really great Family Farm Day for me and my daughter. My brother recommended this farm for us to go to on a Sunday morning and it was a blast. We had the chance to pick strawberries, snap peas, and radishes, while boarding a wagon to take us to the fields for picking. There are separate prices for everything so things got kinda pricey. You pay for the picking of fruits and veggies then pay separately for a wrist band to go in the kids play area. My daughter had a blast picking the veggies and fruits fresh from the fields for us and was ready to eat them when we got home. The kids had a chance to play in the water areas, where there were sprinklers and a playground. There was also go karts for kids and adults, which was really fun to expereince with my daughter, nephew and brother. When it comes to food, I expected more choices but we ended up getting 2 hotdogs and 2 sodas and some cookies. To make this a 5 star review, I would add more options for food. read more

While the farm offers lots of activities, I found many was lacking or overpriced. Lacking - if you are not on the pumpkin bay ride, it's very slim pickings. This is a great place to come and have some fun with the fam and pick some veggies. The hayrides were being disinfected between each groups. Staff were all wearing masks. The farm itself was nice. We picked sweet potatoes, corn and broccoli. They have a cute inside store as well which sells baked goods, other food items, books, candles, home goods and holiday themed items. These pictures were taken a week ago! So my guess is if you haven't yet gone there's still some time to make it over to the farm for a hayride to see beautiful flowers. For $8 you get a hayride with two stops. One with all these pretty flowers and the second to pick your own. Go as early as you can, the crowds were def thinner. Our 5:30 ride had maybe three families and were spread out but when we were leaving the crowds def got larger. Once you get off you can roam around each stop as long as you want and there's a wagon that circles once every probably 15 minutes. We spent maybe an hour taking a LOT of pictures but we didn't want to pick any flowers so we just stayed on when people got off for the second stop. We stopped in the store for some donuts and pie afterwards. Perfect evening. read more

Johnson's Corner Farm is probably the most popular farm in the area, and anyone growing up locally has been here a handful of times. The Farm offers a "Farm Market" that sells their local produce and baked goods, tractor rides, seasonal fruit & veggie picking, a children's area with play equipment and a splash pad, and a small "zoo" where you can feed goats, chickens and cows. Each activity has a small fee associated with it. Outside they market they have a small stand that sells food. They also host seasonal events. In the Fall for 2019 they had a great craft fair and outdoor concert. Most recently I stopped here to grab their new "Pie Samplers" which offer scoops of their 6 different pies. Pretty surprised by the reviews for Johnson's. We've been here for a few fall events and birthday parties. Im not sure what people expect going to a farm but Johnsons is one of my favorite. So many things to do, staff is always super friendly, food is usually pretty good. Love that theres a playground and a little sprinkler area. Its fairly priced considering all of the accommodations. Welcome to Johnson's farm where we create unnecessary line on a Sunday. I don't get why we can't just walk over to the apple farm as its faster to walk than wait for a ride. You guy should make a path and give us the option instead of finding every way to make some extra money. The hay ride is not fun anyway and doesn't provide any details about the farm. The actual picking farm itself is smaller than I expected but we'll organized. When we were here, there isn't much variety available yet. They also said don't eat the apple on farm but how do I know it's sweet. The tree feels a bit smaller than other places I been to. Therefore you can't hide and picnic. It does get hot during midday sun. Btw it's not a picnic apple farm. We get to see some cool looking pumpkin. But after that, it's about it. The shop is okie. I did enjoy the apple cider donut but you can't hate that. read more

A great place to come with the family. You can easily spend the whole day here. They have everything for the kids here including hayrides, pick your own produce/fruits, farm animals, splash park and other fun stuffs for the kids. We came here during the weekday to avoid the weekend crowd and picked our own strawberries. The strawberries were delicious and sweet. The kids enjoyed the hayride, feeding the farm animals and other festivities. We also got the strawberry pie from the store and that was one of the most delicious strawberry pie I've ever had. This was such a fun experience. We started off by taking a hay ride. We got to the apple orchard and I went to my favorite Fuji apples. We tried other apples and I loved the face that there were descriptions of the taste of and use for the apples. We only intended to pick apples but the ease of hay ride and the beauty of the sunflowers lured us to take the next stop. We really enjoyed seeing the beauty of fall. After the pumpkin patch and sunflowers we headed back to the entrance. On our way out we went to the store and had a fun time getting apple cider and apple pies. The flow of the store was pretty easy. There was a separate stand for donuts. That line was pretty long but the donuts were good. There was another store with decorations and that was extremely fun to window shop. All in all it was a good trip. read more

My honest review I drove an hour to Johnson's farm really excited to enjoy all the things with my five and three year old kiddos We got there everything was sold out. We waited in line 45 min for food --while in line swarmed by Nats everyone's head was covered in tiny flies they were EVERYWHERE. When we got our food we had to carry it over to a register to pay. There were not many people working (understandable since covid has completely wiped out many jobs and opportunities) We were lucky enough to let the kids ply at the playground for $12 a piece plus $6 for parent. Way too expensive. The donut line was very long--they could use more help accommodating hundreds even thousands of customers during the peak of the season and holidays. We were bummed not to be able to purchase tickets for anything having driven an hour. But maybe next year we will be lucky enough to purchase online......they were completely sold out of everything online too. read more

Great farm, easy to spend a morning or afternoon here. They have a nice shop where they sell preserves, pies, and other yummy things. We bought tickets (inexpensive) for the hayride so we could go pick corn and other veggies. It was my first time picking corn and the guy taught me how to do it and how to spot a good one. We picked string beans and tomatoes as well. They had humongous zucchinis! I got a pound of string beans, 5 huge ears of corn, and 2 or 3 pounds of tomatoes for $11. Beats going to the grocery store! I think it would be nice to take your kids there to educate them on where food comes from. They also had cute cut outs to take pictures in. Came pumpkin picking here last year too, and there was a huge line for the hayride to bring you to the pumpkin patch (late October, so it was expected). This time (late August on a Saturday at noon) there wasn't a crowd-there were people, but definitely not busy. We had the hayride all to ourselves on the way there. Visited on 9/12/20 This farm really has their act together. You have to make reservations so they can have some social distancing on the tractor pulled wagons. You get to pick a variety of apples, that you are charged for by the pound when you leave. You travel to the apple orchards, get off, and when you are done picking, you travel to where the lovely big sunflowers grow, it is a truly beautiful area, my DW, daughter, and sweet GD loved the experience of this well run family farm. After leaving the tractor area and paying for your apples, and sunflowers. we sat down at one of the many picnic tables that are made available to get a few snacks, there was a guy in a music kiosk playing some really good music through loud speakers, it was far enough away, so the sound was not intrusive, just pleasant. They have a totally awsome, and delicious frozen apple cider that was off the hook. After we finished our snacks (frozen apple cider, soft pretzels, and ice cream (for my sweet GD) we went into the main farm store, they had a lot of items that you are used to seeing in this type of store; preserves, baked goods, etc. The prices of a lot of the things for sale are somewhat high as you can expect from this type store. Some produce like corn was also for sale. All in all JCF is a great place to take your family for some fresh air and the opportunity to show th kids that apples really come from trees and not just from Shoprite, Acme, Piggly Wiggly, or Food Giant. read more

I came here with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon in October. It was fairly busy, but it was pretty easy to find parking. They have pumpkin picking, apple picking (not available when we came), a farm store, animals, a corn maze, and a short wagon wide to the pumpkin match and corn maze. I mainly came for the apple cider donuts, but they have a lot of delicious baked good and such. The pumpkins patch was very big, but the vines are prickly so you have to be careful. The corn maze was fun, and pretty big. I would say that everything is reasonably prices. Half a doze of apple cider donuts for $6 and the hayride to take you to and fron the pumpkin patch and corn maze is $9.
