I LOVE this place. I have never been until last week. I got 100 dollars worth of ORGANIC groceries and it was INSANE how much stuff I was able to buy! I will say the only down side for me was the produce. I'd rather go to a local farm for that but other than that I loved it. The staff is awesome and FAST as well. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this store! Started shopping here very shortly after they opened probably 10 years ago. Felt like I got a raise! Suddenly, I had more money for other things. like travel. Buy all my produce, dairy products, some fish/ meat, many staple items, as well as paper goods & cleaning products at Aldi's. There are some specialty items that go elsewhere four, but most of my weekly shopping is done at Aldi's.As a bonus it is fun to see what special items appear that week. Usually there's a theme - Such as exercise gear, summer cookouts, gardening, home organization, holidays, gourmet cooking, back to school, etc. Everything is so affordable, you can treat yourself to something you might not need, but would enjoy having. This Aldi is interesting, I have been to this location several times and each time I go I have a different experience. I don't think a customer count was in effect at all today. I think the customers forgot about the six feet rule and COVID as every time I turned my head someone was right next to me or reaching over me. I saw employees around the store "keeping busy", while a pretty large line formed in the middle of the store to checkout at the only register open. Not great today and will not be back anytime soon. read more

I don't think I looked into what this store was about. Paying a quarter for a grocery cart seemed odd to me. Very no frills and being someone who cooks a lot, there wasn't much of a selection of items for me. The poultry shelf was practically empty. I put back the few things they did have that I needed and headed to the Market Basket for better selection and display. read more

How happy am I that they put an Aldi in my town? Very! I had heard of Aldi before, so I knew how their system works - put a quarter in the cart to unlock it (you get your quarter back when you return the cart), and you need your own bags (or pay 10 cents per bag, or buy a huge canvas bag for $2). The food here is cheap but GOOD! They also carry some name brand items, but it's mostly their in-store brands. It's not a big supermarket by any means - it's more the size of a Trader Joe's. The prices are very, very good - especially on dairy/meat/produce. Bags of ceasar or italian salad mix (with the croutons, etc) were $1! I'm going on a diet so I bought a lot of their diet brand, which was MUCH cheaper than anything I'd find at a regular supermarket. My only gripe I guess is that they don't take credit cards, only debit/cash (no checks either). I can see their reasoning behind this, but I use my credit card instead of my debit so I can get rewards/cashback, so it's just a peeve of mine that they don't take it. read more

I've only visited this store a few times, since they recently opened a store in my town (which isn't listed on here yet, so I can't review them!) I love Aldi. The prices are excellent, half the price of regular supermarkets and the quality is excellent as well. I've heard some people say they can't do a weeks worth of grocery shopping in this store, but I disagree.. There is a great variety of some items, smaller variety of others, but all prices are significantly less than the competition. I'll admit I was a little nervous about the meats, but they looked good, so I took a chance on a package of chicken and a package of hamburger and the quality was just the same as the larger chain stores. So you can do a weeks worth of shopping here, and judging from the people I've seen walking around with full carts, I'm not the only one. Its definitely a no frills store, you pay a quarter to get your cart, fill it, check out and bag the items yourself, you can purchase bags there, the cheapest ones are a dime and I believe you can get a nice reusable bag for around a dollar. I always forget my bags, so end up buying a few of the dime ones, or ask for a box, which they'll happily give you. Once you bag, or box in my case! your items, and put them in your car, you return the cart yourself and you'll get your quarter back. Many times I've been walking toward the store and someone hasn't put their cart back, so I'll grab it, and I look at it as saving a quarter before I even walked in the store! I've done great with baking items here, again at least half the price of the competition and the quality is just as good, if not better. I can now afford to experiment with fun recipes and if something doesn't work and ends up in the trash, I'm rarely out more than a few dollars (and save a ton of calories from eating it anyway!) The customer service is excellent, every cashier I've met has been friendly, helpful and very efficient. There is rarely a long wait to cash out, even when theres just one person working. I was so happy when this store opened close to me. I save so much money!! and one last thing.. they only accept EBT cards, debit cards and cash. No checks or credit cards, its another way for them to keep their prices down. would recommend it to anyone, just give it a try, you'll be glad you did! read more

I have a friend that swears by Aldi's so I figured I'd check it out. They are a discount, no frills supermarket where you need to pay a quarter for your cart, bag your own groceries and bring your own bags. The first thing I noticed is how clean it was. This place is much cleaner than any other discount grocery store I have been in. Most of the items sold are their own store brands. I did see some regular, national brands and the prices on those were mostly the same as Stop & Shop and Shaws. As far as the store brands, some prices were on par with store brands at other markets or slightly cheaper. One thing that really turned me off though was that none of the produce was refrigerated. While I get that not all produce needs to be, I'm not cool with my bagged lettuce or peeled baby carrots not being refrigerated. I don't think I'll be a regular. read more

MY FAVORITE!!!!!! Where else can you go spend $99.11 for a household of two who eat healthy with 2-3 weeks worth of food?! ALDI'S!! It's a bit of a drive from Brockton to Raynham but it's always so worth it when I check out and spend less than $100! 3 stars for Customer Service: It is not THAT great.. Aldi is my place of serenity after a long day and drive.. It WOULD be nice if they smiled, said hello and looked somewhat happy when checking out sometimes... Can't win em all! read more

Aldi's is a no frills / niche type Supermarket. The store is very clean and well managed. I shop here for specific items such as paper goods (TP, Tissues and Paper Towels) because the quality is surprisingly good and very low cost. I was very excited to check out Aldi, and to some extent it lived up to the hype. Prices were significantly lower than a typical grocery store. Of the items I purchased, which included chocolate, chicken, steak, milk, bread and some snack items, all were good quality. I didn't buy any fruits/vegetables since none were refrigerated and didn't look fresh/good quality. From a food safety perspective, a whole apple is fine to leave out but peeled carrots, broccoli that's been cut at the stem, etc, need to be refrigerated to slow the spread of bacteria and keep it safe. Of the dairy, only 1% and 2% were available for organic milk. Cream was only available in quart size containers. The store was clean, organized and simple. If you tens to get overwhelmed shopping in big stores, Aldi is a better choice since it has wide aisles, high ceilings but shorter racks so you can see the whole store. Overall a good visit. read more

I love Aldi. You can save big on milk (2% is usually $2.50 a gallon) and milk sometimes goes on sale. There's a nice selection of basics and lunch options for kids, tons of frozen fish and chicken, with some nice Mexican and Chinese dishes too. There's enough for some decent at-home meals including low cal foods. Warning, read tthe labels though. There's a lot of sugar and salt filled products. If you want fresh bread, visit Art's Bakery down the street. I still get my fruit at the fruit stand up near the rotary. Overall great on the budget. read more

Prices good, but the quality of the produce does not make it a deal! Strawberries did not last 1 day before spoiling and the bag of apples most of them were bruised. Canned goods and frozen stuff was good, cheap prices... I would go back just not for the produce better off getting it on sale at regular supermarket and having it last! read more

I moved to Raynham just over a year ago and I don't know how I ever lived without this store before then! The produce sales (and even some everyday produce prices) can't be beaten! The quality is always fresh - they have a double your money back guarantee too on everything they sell. Their brand products are way cheaper than name brand and taste just as good as name brands - if not better! (I buy their nonfat plain Greek yogurt regularly and like it more than any name or other store brand - plus its way cheaper!). Their gallons of milk are always around $2, eggs under $1. Tips for shopping here: bring a quarter for a cart (don't worry, you'll get it back when you return your cart once you're done using it) and bring your own bags since they don't supply any (you can however buy them for a small fee). You also bag your groceries after you pay. I know those 3 things sound strange, but it keeps the prices low and lines moving fast no matter how busy they are, so I'm okay with it! I tried the Aldi in Milford after a friend of mine highly recommended it because she was saving lots of money every week. At first I was skeptical but the prices and quality of the food were excellent I also passed on some of the meats but you can pretty much get anything else there. Don't be put off by the "non-brand" names.You'll be pleasantly surprised. The concept is very much like the stores in Germany (where I have visited family). We love Aldi's. My husband and I moved from the midwest several years ago where Aldi's was a regular stop for groceries. We were thrilled to find the store in Raynham - we shop for non-perishables, paper and dairy products. It's a far better "stock up" store than Wal-Mart. If you're looking for name brand products - you won't find them. But the quality is very good and the prices - exceptional. Shelves are always stocked, no long lines, friendly staff, good management... and extremely budget friendly! read more
