The markets is very clean and the people that work there are very friendly. The fresh meat, ready made items fresh and frozen were priced very reasonable. Items like halo's were $10.00 a bag . There were several items in this store that you pay prices like you are buying items at a convenience store. Their store made chicken pot pie is one of best store made pot pies I have ate. I love the texture and flavor of the gravy. Their egg salad sandwiches are really good, portion size is huge and price is cheap . Their homemade meatballs , Portuguese stuffing in the deli section was fantastic. I would definitely comeback here for their meat and deli section but leave other types of grocery items for market basket . read more

Tom's is the only grocery store we have here in town so it's super convenient!! It's like a mini version of the bigger super markets. You may not find exactly what you are looking for, but you will find something close. They carry a lot of the high end products as well. The meat counter and the deli are two of our favorite aspect of Toms. They have a great selection of meats, fish filet's, pork and chicken and it's always very fresh. As far as the deli, they have a huge variety of top end luncheon meats and many different cheese selections. Many people rave over their cooked products, I have yet to be impressed. The only negative thing I often see is their produce section is definitely not the greatest. Not a whole heck of a lot to choose from and lots of times it's already on it's way out. I have noticed many times they have the old wilted crap on top and the better quality down below. I caught the male manager giving me the hairy eyeball not long ago because I was digging beneath the junk to get to the better product. He immediately came over and re positioned everything like he was very annoyed. lol read more

Cute little market with a great meat counter and delicious prepared foods. I wish there was more of an organic selection for the vegetables and fruit, but everything they have there is very fresh. In that, I mean if you prefer to have a selection of many brands, this isn't the place for you. Tom's has a great selection of prepared foods. The staff is very friendly and personable! My wife and I check out this store and were pleasantly surprised. They have a great selection of produce amazing selection of meat and and out of this world selection of prepared food.. Today we got a sausage and pepperoni Cal zone as well as their egg and potato salad. Both were out of this world. Even though it's a town away the next time we have a cook out I will go there from my potato salad. If you haven't checked out the store yet I highly recommend it. They also have unique ice cream including grape nut ice cream which is very hard to find. The staff was friendly and helpful from beginning to end. read more

Tom's is a great little grocery store. It is much bigger than a neighborhood grocery but smaller than a stop and shop. The people who work there are so nice and friendly. The place is always clean and well maintained. They have about 25% or more of the store dedicated to the fresh meats, deli, fish and prepared foods sections. They also have another 25% that is fresh fruits and vegetables. So the healthy stuff I try to focus on is easy to find and plenty to choose from. And they have plenty of boxed and processed stuff you expect to find in the center aisles that I try to avoid and keep my kids away from (cookies, chips, sofa etc.). I usually come away surprised at the selection and have no trouble filling my cart. The only thing I couldn't find once was pulled pork. So glad Tom's is in the area. read more

Six (6) years ago, Tom's Market arrived in Tiverton, RI, where the CVS used to be before they moved. A nice little 'junior' supermarket, it's what I call a 'yuppy' spot...overpriced (very) but has its redeeming value...its ace, if you will...in the store-cooked foods section within the deli area. Immediately we LOVED their Mini Meatloafs! Gravy added, garnished with an onion ring...just take home, heat it up, and voi la! So the following week, we returned. No mini meatloafs, but they did have meatloafs with bacon and gorgonzola cheese mixed in. Why? What was wrong with the regular ones? Dejected, we left. Ten days later, we tried again! This time, Chourico and some God awful cheese. No plain meatloaf. Yet EVERYTHING ELSE they've offered since Day 1 is in the display case, unadulterated! Now I'm upset. (We drive a bit just to spend our money at Tom's, and they arent offering everything they did at the beginning.) So I tune down my fear inducing look and voice level, and simply ask, "Why aren't you making regular mini meatloafs as a regular item? If you can add the crap to them, you can certainly set aside a plain batch or two to make a few plain ones each week!" THAT accomplished nothing! A year or so later, we spoke to a 'Regional' (three whole stores need a Regional Manager, but can't make plain meatloafs!). He gave us some runaround, a free slice of plain meatloaf used in the making of meatloaf dinners (so they DO make it, but just not to stick in the display cooler) and assured us that, on any given, random day, we ought to be able to get regular mini meatloaf! [Yes, I know...Kim Jung Un and Donald Trump want to blow us all up, and I'm irked over meatloaf! Welcome to my brain! The grass is definately not greener in there!] Finally I call Tom...THE Tom, of Tom's Market. He tells me that my request isnt that difficult, and not to worry. Our next visit in? Meatloaf with blue cheese and goat milk, or some hoity toity crap, but NO regular mini meatloaf! WHY ON DAY ONE DISPLAY YOUR OFFERINGS, ONLY TO NEVER HAVE THEM AVAILABLE AGAIN? So skip ahead to last summer. The deli case offered Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad, which Melissa loved! Every visit since? Following along now? NO Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad! As I told you earlier, they are WAY OVERPRICED, but their saving grace has been their 'home cooked' offerings. But now that we've given up on those, there is really no smart reason to shop there anymore. Week One: Little pizza slices, made fresh, and in a little bag...nice and moist! Deelish! Ever since the end of month six? NO PIZZA SLICES. How many more times should we drive there, only to find that, foolishly, they don't have what we've come to enjoy...but could, if they so chose? Very rarely now do we stop in. The two stars are for their plain mini meatloaf...which we haven't been able to buy since Obama's second term began! Everyone must make their own decision, however, and some of you might love crap in your meatloaf, and some of you might enjoy paying $6 for what the area supermarkets are selling for $3. Go and be merry. Enjoy the Meatloaf with walnuts and squirrel ragu...I shouldn't have said that...it might end up in the display case! And, as always, tell them...Christian wants to know when you're gonna offer plain mini meatloafs again! UPDATE: 4/23/18 Was in this morning. Walked out, my Italian temper in full flame mode, verbally expressive. Glen, Tom's partner, explained things. There was no Chicken Caesar Salad...due, Glen said, to the Romaine lettuce issue. Agreed. There were no plain meatloafs, because they ran out. There was no macaroni salad, which isn't made there, but which ran out. There were several other empty bowls in the case. The small pizza slices, on the counter in bags, is the fault of the overzealous, not so bright apparently, Board of Health inspector. BUT Glen gave me his personal contact info, and numbers to call ahead next time. A+ effort by the owner operator, which needed to be shared. read more

This market reminds me of an upscale version of a market in West Dennis that I used to go to as a kid. There's not a heck of a lot of choice like you would find with the bigger chain supermarkets, but you SHOULD be able to find what you need, and you'll find it was relative ease because it's not that big of a store. One odd thing...I would like to know why this store has a Newman's own fetish? I swear they had Newman's own stuff I didn't know existed! Anyways, back to the review. As we were walking around, we were asked twice if we needed any help, it was very endearing. I don't eat meat, but my mother said it looked good, and the -prepared foods in the deli section were almost a little too fancy. Some of them looked delicious though. There's no florist here, which was odd, because I swear the scent of flowers lingered in the air. I'm not crazy, my mother thought so too, we think it might have been the produce. All in all it's worth checking out if in the area for some reason, but unless you are going for the meats, it's not worth going out of your way for. read more

Great little neighborhood market where I can find good produce and my favorite honey balsamic dressing. Worth the ride. Didn't buy but noticed the have prepared food and there was a line when I there last time, so must be okay. This is a nice market and they have a good variety of things considering that it's a small store. Their sale prices are higher than most other grocery stores regular prices- but you save in gas if you only need a few things. I wouldn't use it to do my whole weekly shopping at cuz I'd be way over budget. I think of it as a very nice convenience store. read more

I actually worked here for over a year and left for another job. There was only one thing I really liked about this place and that is that there are a lot of local items that are sold. However, having gone back there even after I've left the same issues still apply: certain management is bad and cashiers are left waiting for change because the manager isn't coming when called multiple times. The greens aren't stored properly which causes them to dry out or wilt. Cashiers put on their fake smile and ask me the same question every time I go, which to me is disappointing. The owner- for a lack of words is an a**hole who only cares about money and belittles people. Lastly, like any other local place it is a little over priced but as a grocery store in general it has what you need and is good for a quick run- maybe not a full trip though. read more
