The farm stand is in a pair of buildings at this time and they have enough room to expand when more vegetables are harvested. We were not here earlier in the year when the greenhouse does business. There is also a U-Pick section, but we did not try that. We thought it funny when we came to the unshucked corn that there were a few signs warning us to not peel back the husk to look at the corn. We followed the rules and trusted in the product, and we were pleasantly surprised. When we cooked it up later, the corn was perfect and tasty. So even though we did not have the fun of peeling the husks, the corn was VG. We will be back.

I needed some singles to use the water refill machine so I asked the cashiers if I could get $5 or $10 in singles. There were no customers at either register and the older lady told me I would have to buy something to get change and I said I was buying water and will be shopping after that. She then said with a very snippy attitude that it didn't matter I will have to buy a candy bar to get change. I was livid! With Jewel moving in across the street soon this type of customer service and attitude was terrible! I finished the two jugs I had started refilling and left to do the rest of my shopping at Jewel. Shame on you Strack & Van Til (Hyvee) for failing your customers! This has been said by many not just me! One more thing, the young lady bagging, on her own, looked in her purse to try and help me get change. Kudos to her customer service!
