If you're not on the Aldi bandwagon, then just jump on here. This store never fails to have the items that I need. Not traditionally being an off-brand consumer, I resisted trying Aldi for a while, but now I can't live without some of their items that are even better yet less expensive than the brand names. So I'm not going to rate down this place tremendously due to my personal dislike of this store. A lot of people really like Aldi and I guess I see you save SOME money with their brands of food and items, personally I did not see too much of a savings. It has a small selection of items and if you blink you just might miss what you're looking for. I did notice the produce was organized and fresh, also the meat selection did not look too bad. I came in to buy a few items for Nachos...Tortilla Chips, refried beans and olives. It took me like 10 minutes to try and find olives.. I went down the ONLY aisle that had canned vegetables/sauce/ and Hispanic food like 5 times... NO Olives! I about gave up and then I walk down to get cheese and then bam! Olives at an end cap by cheese?! So it was a bit discombobulated for me. I don't hate the place , customer service was good, it wasn't messy or anything it just wasn't what everyone hypes it up to be. We get the sale paper head to the store on Wednesday there when the sore opens and nothing is in the store the rude staff's response" We are sold out remember we were the first one in the store on the first day of the sale. Just to clarify several inaccurate comments. 1. You need to rent a cart. Not really. If you need a cart, put in a quarter to access the cart. When you leave, return the cart and your quarter is returned to you. Notice at Aldi's there are no (paid) employees scampering around the parking lot to retrieve carts. This is one strategy Aldi's uses to keep the prices down. 2. Must buy a bag. Not really. Bringing your own bag is an European approach to keep the costs down, plus it is environmentally friendly (green). For several items, most people bring, say, a canvas or plastic reusable bag. If you forget your bag, it is not necessary to buy any, although that is an option. Empty boxes are available at no charge throughout the store. This is a similar cost saving (money in your pocket) approach used by Costco. Selection is not there (no 10 different brands of ketchup!), but the quality and low price is what you get. read more

Aldi has really stepped up its game and has put out a great number of healthy products and affordable organic and non-organic vegetables. This is my go-to Aldi store, but beware that the aisles are a bit cramped at this location. This location is nice because it is not as busy as the store on Woodruff Road. The store is always clean and well-stocked. The biggest problem here is that they have crammed more items into the space than other locations. There is one aisle that is really hard to navigate around because they basically added an extra aisle of products. However, it's really just a minor annoyance and does not detract from the awesomeness than is Aldi. Since I mostly come here for produce, they have a nice selection and their products always look good. They don't have a lot of exotic produce, but they have great prices on those standard fruits and veg. The prices are about 50-75% of what you pay for these items at Publix or Ingles. They also have milk, eggs, and meat that come from hormone-free animals as well. Don't forget to bring a quarter for the cart and bring your own bags if you don't want to pay for them. read more

Quick curbside pickup and extremely accurate results. Large selection , and very happy with some new things I tried

Went to this Aldi on the way home when I typically go to the Spartanburg Aldi. What a difference! They were out of many things. Employees were working on restocking and one employee that was training another while restocking the cereal said "don't worry about rotating it, they all expire a long time from now anyways." What????? Then I get up the the register and the employees are swearing and talking about someone getting fired in front of someone's little kids! Completely unprofessional. Now I know not to stop at this location! read more

Very clean and organized grocery store. I am not a fan of paying for bags, bagged veggies and such. Was making a pitstop for someone. You must use a quarter to rent a basket and afterwards IF you return the basket-you get your quarter back. Customer service gets all A"s, very assertive, knowledgeable about the products available and friendly. ALSI isn't my type of market but for those who care to go, it carries a special type experience worth exploring. read more

This store was recently remodeled and the longest that I have ever waited to check out is 5 minutes even when the store is slammed! I go to Aldi for my basic foods and save tons of $$. Milk, bread, baby carrots, butter, lettuce, salad dressings, etc. read more

I don't get the hype. They have a limited selection of mostly off brand foods or foods close to expiration. It you want to save a few bucks and don't mind the limited selection, this is your place. Be ready to buy bags and rent a shopping cart. read more

Last summer we started to shop at Aldi, because Walmart was becoming too expensive. We saw a considerable difference in our grocery shopping bill and have been pleased. While this store may not be everyone's cup of tea, whenever we do our shopping run we hit up Aldi first and try to get most of our shopping list items knocked off, then it's off to Lidl and last and least Walmart for any hard to find items not available at the first two stores. Believe me, if I could afford it you'd find me at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Fresh Market or Lowes, but I cannot afford all those high-end prices on our budget. I do not like to compromise on quality, however, we have been satisfied with most Aldi products. My husband has even found some great deals on non-grocery items. He bought two 50-feet water hoses for $10 each and a chain saw for $30. We'll keep shopping here and never leave guilty looking over our grocery bill. In fact we can sigh a sigh of relief. Rude cashiers! The store has a foul smell and the produce prices are the best in town but they run out of them fast so you never know what they have in stock. I would not waste my time going back to this Aldi in Taylors, SC - visit another location or go to Walmart they have more selection and they are one stop. If you visit this Aldi you will need to go to another grocery store to finish your shopping anyway. I had like getting bags for my groceries and not worrying if I have a quarter or not for a buggy...and again the cashiers at their store are very rude!!!
