This Aldi is super convenient, just west of 95 on Okeechobee Boulevard, but I tried to 'stop by' on a Sunday and found it packed with people, with basic items missing! The produce aisle, the first aisle you enter, can easily become clogged with carts, and there was a line of carts waiting to enter this when I went- wow! This is also a lot of pressure to keep the line going and not stop to select produce, which inevitably takes more time than packaged items, due to inspecting the quality of the products. They were out of several items I usually get, such as organic carrots, nectarines, take n bake cheese pizza. I was surprised, since the location I usually go to has rarely had anything out of stock. This store shares a parking lot with many other stores, so it was a little farther to park on a crazy hot day than at my usual location. read more

Aldi is one of the best low cost national grocery chains. The great thing about this chain is that you can get fresh produce from local farms, European chocolates and ethnic foods. I was in the area so I stopped here to get some Asian groceries, which were actually cheaper than at some Asian grocery stores. This Aldi location is much more spacious since it was remodeled last summer which is good as this location is crowded every time I shop here. The store is well organized, well lit, and well stocked. The check out area was staffed by two cashiers when I first got in line to pay. Another cashier was added shortly after I joined the line. I like how the cashier asks the next customer in line to go to the newly opened register. So many times in other stores I've seen a new register open up, only to have someone who just got in line jump ahead of everyone who was already waiting in line. Not at Aldi! One of my favorite things about Aldi is how Aldi offers so many seasonal items. During my recent visit, I saw decorations, Christmas cards, cookies, candies, Advent calendars, toys, candles, pajamas, and many gift items for sale. I don't know how Aldi fits so much 'stuff' in one store! During the fall, many harvest, Octoberfest, and Halloween goodies were available. It's fun (and sometimes expensive!) to find all the interesting and unusual products in one store. I paid $2.44 for a gallon of milk. I saw eggs listed for .74 cents for a dozen. My adult sons who live at home love the chocolate milk which sell for $1.23 for a half gallon. Produce, cereal, snacks, paper products, canned vegetables, frozen goods, and alcohol are inexpensive and good quality at Aldi. That's what keeps me coming back! Think of Aldi's as the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. I used to just carry groceries around the store in bags I brought but getting my own cart has made the checkout process a lot smoother so now I always keep a quarter in my car. I have noticed that a lot of stores are leaving carts where the quarter slot is locked in the parking lot for shoppers. The more I shopped at Aldi's the more I save and now I have become a regular shopper. Thanks Rachel for turning me on to the Aldi Nerd Community Groupon Facebook which gives me tons of great ideas. I end up stopping an Aldi's at least once a week wherever I end up. This week it happened to be in Palm Beach. Every week I get spinach and kale for my morning smoothies, peppers and carrots for snacks, and the packaged Asian salad for lunch. I also always buy their coffee pods, yogurt, and orange juice. I love to check out the frozen case where you will find a rotating selection of goodies. They even offer cauliflower crust pizza for those of us looking to cut carbs. I still am not completely sold on their meat but sometimes I will pick it up. I love that they have my staples but also fun new products to try. This week I noticed they have the Valentines Day candy and decorations out. This location is pretty much the same as every other one, no better no worse. There are a lot of bills you can't control but grocery shopping is an expense where you can save money. On the Facebook group I have seen people who are really struggling feed their family on incredibly tight budgets at Aldi's. To that end you can call me a proud Aldi nerd. read more

To whom it may concern....tonight 12/14/24 i convinced my husband who just came back from being deployed to go to Aldi instead of publix because of the prices and usually great customer service...i am a small business owners and mother of 2 and have shopped here for years while he has been gone....and have never had any issues ...tonight the customer services by Maria was more than disappointing.....very rude and considering this was his first experience it was embarrassing.., he had to talk to the manager about her behavior which feels like it got shrugged off ... i have been nothing but a loyal customer of Aldi's for many years and have spent thousands of dollars and now im at the point of not even wanting to shop there .....it was unacceptable behavior that was not necessary i would love for someone to contact us in reference to this situation -561-537-1339................. read more

This Aldi location is fantastic. I enjoyed shopping there prior to last Fall's remodel, but now I love shopping there. The design of the store changed and the layout is far more sensible and easier to maneuver as one shops. The produce section is by far my favorite highlight, but I also enjoy the frozen food section as well as the household items. The produce is extremely affordable and fresh. One enters this section when they enter the store Furthermore, the organic selection is vast and equally affordable. While I don't purchase sweets, I must give a shout out for the neighboring dessert section. The cookies look orgasmic and the variety of chocolate.... WOWZERS! The snack section is massive and the nut variety is great. I often buy the large container of Deluxe sea salt cashews for $12.99, less than their Costco rival and pretty darn tasty. As I stated earlier in the review, I always stalk the frozen food section because they introduce some amazing seafood and vegetarian friendly items. I'm not a vegan nor vegetarian, but I do enjoy a good black bean or mushroom burger! The gift and household section is great because they carry some budget friendly and useful items. For example, I wanted a collapsible laundry basket yet didn't want to pay $20 at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Low and behold, Aldi featured one for $12.99. In addition to a lesser cost, they offered it in gray and white. Whereas, I had only seen it for sale in white at competitor locations. One may not necessarily be able to knock out their entire grocery list at Aldi, but I assure you there's a LOT to be purchased including organic groceries. More importantly, there's a lot of money to be saved and quality is on point. Don't forget to bring your reusable bags because they don't offer bags and a quarter if you desire to use a shopping cart. No worries, the quarter is refundable if you return the cart. There's nothing really wrong with it, but it's my last choice for groceries. It's very inexpensive, I just don't like the shopping experience. I'd rather pay a little bit more in have a wider selection. But I know many people who go there all the time, they just won't see me there. read more

Welcome to Aldi's: One of the yelpers told me about this market and it took me some time to get there but it was definitely worth it! #1 rule: Don't forget your quarter! #2 rule: If you do forget, buy some flowers to break your bills and get that quarter. #3 rule: know the culture of the store: no frills (you pay for those), no credit cards (cash, debit, ebt), (Aldi brand is primary here.... not so much name brands) #4 rule: take your time, factor in cost at other markets and enjoy your savings. I am very pleased with the grocery items I purchased. Loved my roses and cooking at home. Final rule: be patient, return the cart and get your lucky quarter back. read more

They have great and comparable prices here as well as a variety of products. No only do they have chips, but they also have speciality cheeses, organic products, produce, and fresh vegetables. To cut costs, you have to buy a cart for $0.25 also it's $0.07 for each paper bag and I believe $0.10 for plastic bags. I'll be back here for sure. read more

Like I get the whole cart and saving bags thing, but not when the cashier doesn't even acknowledge you and literally throws your grocery's in the cart to the point where they are demolished. I've never felt so rushed in my life, especially because I didn't have a cart and had to put everything in my bag before the next person started. And yeah I get that there is a lot of people in line but I go to Aldi for their customer service and this location just doesn't get it. I wasn't going to write a review until the lady (who was miserable) threw the receipt at me and didn't even say sorry. Such a disappointment. I literally brag about this grocery store to everyone I know, but it seems like that is going to stop soon. read more

I have to revise my rating. This location has gone downhill in the last few months. They don't get the items I have grown to enjoy in my two years frequenting this location, and there's a 50/50 gamble you will get hit up by a panhandler in the parking lot unbagging your groceries. Also, the last couple of times I have gone, they have pallet jacks laying around with cases of food, further obstructing the aisles. I can see every once in a while, but its constant and absolutely ridiculous they would do this during peak shopping times. The congestion has gotten worse, that coupled with the way people drive makes me want to avoid that entire shopping plaza completely. I will not be going back unless I am in a pinch for an item or so. read more

I do appreciate the concept of how they pass on the savings to their customers by being open less, lack of shelf presentation, hiring less employees, smaller stores, self return carts (bring a quarter), no bags (bring your own), limited products, and no credit cards accepted to reduce fees. I got past the layout of the store, chaotic, but they lack several of my own staple items. There is not much variety either. They do carry a few gourmet type items such as specialty crackers and cheeses. They have very few brand items that we may be used to. Their own brands tout to be just as good or better. There are savings here but it is not a one stop shop. The lines are long and service is non-existent. Since they do not bag your groceries, they literally throw your groceries in the cart. I did not have time to bag my own because they want you out as quickly as possible. Prices are good but not a pleasurable shopping experience whatsoever! Tried it but will probably not return. Went here for the first time today after hearing about the low prices. Just moved from out of state and was trying to find a good/affordable grocery store near me. They have a big clean parking lot so finding a spot was no problem. Only issue is they only have one cart pick up/return station which is located right by the front entrance of the store which can be a little inconvenient if you park farther away from the entrance. Also need a quarter for the cart. The inside was clean ( even though they're going through a renovation right now) and i was able to find some great deals and low cost grocery items. Checkout was super easy and quick and the woman who helped check me out was super sweet. Told her it was my first time there and she even apologized for all the construction and small talked with me. They don't provide bags ( which I don't mind at all) unless you pay extra per bag so you may want to bring your own. All in all I had a great experience and will be returning for the low prices! read more

I love shopping here. The employees have always been top notch. The prices and quality of the items I prefer to purchase also bring me back. I would really like to not be approached by people in the parking lot offering to return my shopping cart for me for the 25 cent deposit I paid to get it when I arrived. We could also do without the musician with the amplifier. I can take care of myself, but I am sure these uninvited people intimidate other shoppers. I would suggest to make it a pleasant shopping experience for everyone do not allow these solicitors to be on the premises. read more

Good selection, shelves are always stocked here. Aldi's has seriously switched to more natural alternatives and more selection of international foods; you can certainly find them in this location. Only giving four of five stars because although their staff is friendly and courteous they get busy and can be a bit far under-staffed. Hire a few more smiling workers. read more

We had heard a lot about this store and finally had the time to go. First, we were not sure where the store was located. Our GPS had conflicting addresses. There was no phone number or way to contact the store. We were able to figure it out. Next, no one had told us about bringing a quarter to get a cart. It's a great idea, but there should at least be a sign up telling you what to do. We were lost until someone we knew happened to pull in and told us. I know they are trying to cut costs, but a sign does not cost that much. I am sure they are losing a lot of first time visitors because of this. After all the hype, we thought the store would be very large and were surprised with the selection. There are some name brands, and some brands we never heard of. Found the whole set up confusing and a bit of a mish-mosh. We did get some good deals and do like that they have a focus on organic foods. Over all we will go back when we are in the area but we will not go out of our way. read more

This a clean location and they rotate their stock very well. Of course you have to bring your bags, a quarter for a cart, use cash or debit card, and wait ten minutes in the check out lane, but that is how Aldi is not matter what location you go to. Over the last year we - a family with two teenage sons - have gotten increasingly tired of the whopping amount of dollars we have been dropping at Publix. No matter how much we decide to limit the number of items while going to Publix to shop - at the check out it is always over a hundred dollars it seems. Even when going there to buy just a few things. Used to live in NJ and the groceries where nowhere near as expensive as in FL. We noticed that ALDI would open on Okechobee and 441 and remembered the name after we lived in Germany for a few years and decided to give it a shot. Folks: this is a hit ! The store is super clean. Not too busy - yet. My guess is that when the word gets around Publix will lose a lot of business. Full disclosure: If you look for the ideal NY strip or the freshest sea food you might want to go to Fresh Market or Whole Foods or even Publix. However, for all the rest - milk, can goods, pasta, rice, salad dressings, CEREAL, cooking oil, hot dogs, chicken and even hamburgers, fresh produce or snacks you will save TONS of money compared to Publix. Russet potatoes are almost half price compared to Publix for example. We are thrilled that ALDI opened. We like Costco too but sometimes you don't need bulk and then ALDI is hard to beat. read more

I go to the one in Royal Palm Beach and love how efficient they are. My kids love berries and other fruits and Aldi makes it affordable to keep fresh fruits in stock at our home. Plus they have good healthy organic options at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Their also brands are sometimes better or just as good as the brand name items. read more

Wow. First visit to Aldi's. A foodie and love to try new food stores [usual are Publix, Winn Dixie and Whole Foods]. Read the reviews and it got my curiosity so thought I'd take my chances. Very impressed with the cleanliness, layout, simplicity and service. Brought the quarter for the cart and was pleasantly surprised with some of the gourmet products available - standing rib roast [on sale], pate, gravlax, etc. Beyond that found the prices more than reasonable [though can't comment on the quality of the house brands yet]. Went around 9:30am and store was quiet. Do bring your own bags/insulated bags [at least leave them in the car] as at checkout there is no bagging. Considering, minor inconvenience for the prices. Less service does equal better prices. read more

LOVE this store... On average I save about 30% on my weekly groceries. Have been cooking professionally in private homes for 30 years and really can't distinguish a difference between Aldi brands and more commonly known brands. read more

Publix on Village Blvd is closed until they rebuild it and the Publix on Military Trail and community drive is a joke these days so I end up at Winn Dixie or Aldi's. Really not too bad. I don't touch the meat but the canned goods, and eggs and milk are fine. The bare necessities are fine at the store and pretty cheap. They do not accept credit cards. I always forget to bring grocery bags though. It's nice and close to home and very quick and clean. read more

I've been shopping at the Aldi in Sebring for about 2 1/2 years and do at least 75% of my grocery shopping here. Milk, OJ, eggs, meat, bacon (yeah!) cheeses and produce are priced significantly lower than Walmart, Publix, and Winn Dixie and the quality is par. Can't beat six ET bagels for a $1.69 and they are delicious. I compared 12 basic items about a year ago with Publix and the savings were almost $11.00. The only reason I go to other stores (not Winn Dixie) is because there are a few items, like fresh fish, that Aldi doesn't carry. read more
