This grocery store is as basic as it gets. They do have very low prices for some of the most common food items that I purchase regularly, and that is a plus. However what I don't particularly care for are the home goods and non-food items. Like lawn chairs and windshield squeegees. This things don't really make much sense to me in a store like this with limited space as it is. They also do not have pre-pared foods like most of their competitors carry. For example, a quart of Greek pasta or macaroni and cheese that you can just pop in the microwave and heat up. I did not see any Arizona iced tea, and extremely limited juice drinks. For those reasons, I would characterize this store as just fair. I come here to get the very basics to hat I need about once every two weeks, and I usually do not buy much more than that read more

To be fair depending on the time you go will be your experience. If you go when it's busy you are going to feel chewed up and spit out by the store- if you go when it's slow it's a really entertaining place to explore! I love their food selection and the prices it's always my secret weapon whenever I have a party or event coming up so I would still recommend. read more

Although the products are good and NORMALLY the service is good, a young lady that looks to be hispanic in her 20's decided to embarrass my mom while she was checking out. My mom was checking out a few items today at the self checkout around closing time when her card wasn't reading (mind you the card had money on it) so instead of coming up to her and talking to my mom the lady decides to yell across the store (she was by the door and my mom was in the middle checkout register) "YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY SO YOU CANT GET ANYTHING!". She completely embarrassed my mom . That lady had no respect or decency to at least go up to talk to my mom and see what was going on. Now mind you the store was full of people, so she had no reason to yell anything like that. read more

Lines can get very long at this location. As long as customers are fast the cashiers can get the lines down fast. I love ALDI cheap wine and random seasonal things. If you go into the store looking for something specific you may not be able to get it because they don't carry everything, so don't go with a list. Not impressed with this store after all the good things I heard about Aldis. They had seven cashier lanes but only two were open on a busy day. Also, the fruit was moldy. The aisles were a mess. They have items all over the store that are placed where they don't belong when customers put something back. Won't be visiting this store again. read more

Ok, so I still love Aldi. They still offer great deals and some unique products. But this location has become my least favorite of the 3 in the area--parking is just a disaster! Between customers for The Village Thrift Store and Lowe's, there is never anywhere to park. The construction going on around Aldi's entrance (for their facelift/expansion) only adds to the problem, since now pedestrians are forced to walked in the middle of an extremely narrow street, so getting in/out of the lot is also a hassle. I only go here when my other errands take me right past it, and I have come to dread it slightly when I do. Maybe once the renovations are complete I will change my review again. read more

Aldi is a great place to stock up on staples; the stuff you need week-in, week-out. Most of their items are private label. I felt like I was in Twilight Zone the first time there, as they actually concoct fancy looking packaging and branding for their products, but it's all brands I'd never heard of. They also carry a limited selection of items, and most items come in only one size. Many items, particularly larger ones, are simply stacked in the cases on the pallets they arrived on, rather than arranged on shelves. Over the last couple years they've greatly expanded their selection of specialty items, such as organic, low fat/low carb and gluten free. Aldi's items are, for the most part, high quality, and competitive with whatever name-brand product whose packaging they're loosely imitating. My experience is that they're using the same suppliers all the other chains use for their private-label products. If you can live with the store brand whatever from your current grocery store, you'll likely be happy with Aldi's version. And Aldi reliably undercuts Walmart, and well, let's face it, Walmart is undercutting everyone else. As mentioned in other reviews, you need a quarter to liberate a shopping cart. You'll get it back when you return the cart. Coincidentally, there are zero carts in the parking lot or around town. Do yourself a favor and bring the reusable bags you guilted yourself into buying. Or liberate boxes from the store (a practice the staff condones) to carry your purchases. Payment is by cash, EBT or debit only. No credit cards or checks. No dumb loyalty card. The entire business is built around minimizing your overall grocery bill, and basically everything they do differently from other grocery stores serves that end. read more

I have tested Giant, Safeway, Walmart and by far ALDI is the only store that created a safe and clean environment against COVID-19. They only allow a small population at a time, clean each cart before use, practice social distancing in lines. Giant is awful and unsafe and Safeway is the worst of the three. I call Safeway and Walmart COVID-19 central. I'm sure the virus is there. No one wheres masks or gloves and they are the least intelligent and sophisticated customer base. read more

Great little grocery store, when you're trying to save money. I often have found myself in a pickle about whether or not I should go to ALDI, due to cleanliness factors. With the new renovation, it much better than ever before-- but still falls short of Lidl's due to customer service and cleanliness. read more

This is a good store for value. The problem is with the store is the meat. I can only say this about this store. Everyone need to look at the meat per pound price. They say meat is a good price per pound on the flyer. But when you go in the store the price is higher per pound then what the flyer says. I have been watching this take place for weeks now. Look at the new flyer on Wednesday like the fresh chicken leg thigh or breast and look at the price on package and see the difference. read more

My wife and I always do most of our grocery shopping here. While they don't have brand name items, they make up for in great prices of basic food needs. It is amazing how much $20 will buy here compared to any other named brand grocery store. At times the lines are long, but the employees are usually pretty quick to notice the need for more cashiers and will try to jump on an extra register to help move people out the door. The owner works at the store and is a really friendly guy who takes an active and dedicated interest in making his store the best. Great place to shop and save some serious money. read more

Aldi is the best grocery store! They don't have a zillion items to choose from, which makes shopping simpler and less expensive. I can get in and out in a jiffy. The food is excellent quality and the staff are friendly. I save a fortune feeding my family by shopping here for regular grocery items. They also ha e great specialty items during the holidays. I'm so happy to have discovered Aldi. I always shopped at Harris Teeter until I was at The Village one day and decided to see what Aldi was. I'm so glad I did! read more

Where do I even start. My husband is the one that turned me on to Aldi a couple years ago. I was skeptical at first like many Americans but it is now my go-to grocery store. I feel like I should be Aldi's ambassador at this point because I rant about it so much to all my friends and family. It's great quality, great prices, and the staff is always friendly. The cash registers move fast because of their setup. Their "Weekly Specials" always seem to have something that I need but for a lot less then anywhere else. With a large family that eats a lot this is my wallet saver. $1.49 for a gallon of milk, yeah i shop here for all the basics and have noticed that their meat prices are getting very competitive and quality is good so may be doing more of my overall grocery shopping there.
