Want to start by saying I have read some of the other reviews. Everyone has their own opinion based upon their experience. It is what it is. * I had a huge amount of junk and rubbish in my basement and in the yard. * I got several estimates from clean-up and removal companies. But Alduit was the only one who gave a fair price AND WHO WOULD COME, LAST MINUTE ON THE WEEKEND. * What happened: Billy and his crew were coming from another job and had to modify their ETA. They kept in regular touch with updates. When they arrived, they tied right into the job. The crew was fast and efficient! As it turned out, I had underestimated the amount of stuff they had to haul. * Billy came back, making an EXTRA TRIP TO FINISH THE JOB ON SUNDAY!! NO EXTRA CHARGE! * Just from my experience: I would hire "ALDUIT" - Billy and his crew again without a second thought. Movers were very friendly through the moving process. I think i In most situations they would do a good job and so I feel I should give 2 stars instead of 1 for the botched job + no remedy. I wanted to move an upright piano. I provided pictures of the piano, video of my stairwell, as well as dimensions. They were very confident they could move the piano into my apartment, and wanted to do it the next day to fit it into their schedule rather than delay. They arrived over an hour late which is common with movers but worth mentioning. Me and the piano owner ended up moving the piano ourselves down the elevator to the loading area. They rolled the piano onto their trunk and rolled it off 5 minutes down the road onto my landlord's porch. They realized they needed an additional person to lift the piano safely. They left the piano on the porch and came back with four people early in the morning. I appreciate that. It was genuine effort and care to get the job done. But they could not get the piano around the stair corner. They put a hole in the stairwell wall and scratched up other parts of it. A corner of the piano was damaged (minor). Unfortunately the whole thing pissed off my landlord and he wouldn't let the piano into the apartment, even when I found someone experienced to do it safely at a generously discounted price. I think that I should have been refunded in full. I requested it but it was denied. The whole ordeal cost me a chunk for the (thankfully cheap-end) piano + the partial moving cost I paid. The movers should not have confidently assured they could move the piano to begin with. It became apparent they did not actually have experience with moving pianos. The half-completed moving job left me worse off than not doing it at all and cost me a lot of money, which is difficult for me. I requested that they move it off the porch as a courtesy for free, because my landlord was forcing me to move it. They did not accommodate. I would feel better about the situation if they were accountable and gave me the full refund. read more

50 miles) Fall River * 02720 My move was a mess. I thought I hired the right company but apparently I did not. Would I use them again absolutely not. My dresser got all banged up and pieces of my dresser chipped off in a number of places. Today I hook up my television and it is nothing but scratches at the bottom of the 96" tv from their move of tv. The gentleman was nice but he had no one strong enough to help me move. I had to leave a table and exercise machine because of how tired they were. The first time in the morning, he came he had an elderly gentleman come, he left right after to go get his friends when the elderly man could not move anything else after the dresser. I waited at least an hour and half for him to come back with his friends to finish the move only they were to tired at the end. By the time I made it to my destination, the whole back of the truck looked liked everything was just thrown in there because they did not pack the truck right. Now I have to replace a screen and get new furniture. read more
