Excellent company. Chris contacted me immediately when I sent a request for info online and he explained thoroughly and clearly what services Residential Cleanouts offers. He took the time to understand what my goals were and offered several options. He took the time to really listen and I felt like he was tailoring a plan to fit my unique needs. They (Chris and Steve) kept in close contact via email throughout the planning process, responding to all my inquiries and questions. I was impressed that company policy is to send out a scout ahead of time to get an accurate and detailed first hand look at the project so as to be adequately prepared on the day of service. On the day of service, they arrived on time in very professional vehicles (trailer, pickup truck, van). The 3 young men (intelligent college students) plus the foreman of the project, were courteous, professional, & conscientious. They were respectful of the property and removed items with care, even though the items were slated for destruction/donation. They were quick, they didn't fool around or stand around smoking, they were polite and did not curse, they didn't take a break until they were almost done (I offered them lunch). They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up any debris or trash that fell during the moving process. The entire project from start to finish went off without a hitch. The only caution I would offer is to be aware that paying with a credit card (instead of cash or check) includes a service fee, which is clearly stated on the pre-estimate contract prior to agreeing to book the service. This company made an appointment with me. I was home when they came. I changed my mind about whether I wanted to cleanout the house. I forgot to cancel the appointment. They talked with me for 30 minutes. About an hour later, I received a text saying, "We will send you a bill for $100 but should you use us in the future we will credit the next bill." Chris was responsive, easily to schedule, highly professional and friendly. In our case, the pickup happened to occur during a bunch of snow, but that was no problem as Chris and team arrived on time, ensuring existing furniture was cleared before the new arrived. My home is about to be listed and desperately needed a clean out on short notice. I called the Friday after Thanksgiving not expecting someone to answer. It was Chris. He said he could come over right away to scope out the job and give me a price. I appreciated his positive attitude. He arrived on schedule and developed a plan and gave me an estimated price. We agreed and the clean out started immediately. I expected the job to take at least a full day if not more. Chris took over and the job was done in a little over half a day. When you have little kids at home, the last thing you want to do or have time for is to clear out a shed filled with the previous owners' belongings. Fortunately, Residential Cleanouts came to our rescue! Chris was prompt, easy to communicate with, and gave a truly reasonable price for the work that was done.
