There is no magic mascara or eyelash curler that would make my lashes look good. Falsies? Forget it...super inconvenient and messy with glue and getting the lash strip on your eye lid just right. I know I don't like looking sloppy. This is where Kimi, the most amazing eyelash artist ever comes in. Found her on Yelp! Thanks Yelpers :) My life is forever changed. My lashes are so on point, I use less eye makeup now (including eyeliner), and it really saves time getting ready. Trust me, your boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, husband, or whoever it may be will be thankful. I've tried 2 of the 3 lash styles offered: 1) Super glam - The most popular choice. The true "mascara look." 2) Diva - The Y shaped lashes are 2 lashes fused into one for a fluffy, natural look. The third option are mink lashes, which I have not tried yet. You can also choose the length of your lashes, how much curl, and if you want longer at the ends. Back to Kimi, she is so diligent, precise, and gentle. Not to mention, she's fast! Her work is night and day compared to work done by other salons. Her booth at the Sola Salons is comfy and relaxing with pretty good music playing. I must ask her for her playlist next time. When it's time for the big reveal, you won't believe your eyes! I recommend keeping up with fills at least every 3 weeks and scheduling your next appointment at least 1 week in advance. So I came here and wow what a difference that made. The inside is very pretty and they have a little waiting area. When I came here, Christina took (and still does) care of me and she did an amazing job. She took her time making sure the lashes were flawless. Ever since then I have been coming to her for fills and I am always satisfied. The lashes lasts from 2-3 weeks depending on how well you take care of them. I have had lip blush done in various countries all around the world, and this is by far the best experience I have had from start to finish. First, her response time and communication is top tier. AS SOON as I made the appointment (at almost midnight on a holiday may I add), she followed up with me immediately and answered any and all questions I had written down on the site when booking the apt. She was so kind, loving, yet professional; it literally felt like I was talking to one of my best friends. I immediately felt so comfortable and without even meeting her, I knew I made the right decision in choosing her. I was referred by a client at my work, however, I have several clients with various recommendations and Jay's work is what stood out the most. As soon as I got there, she welcomed me with a smile, bright energy, and turned my day around. The location itself is very nice and peaceful. The space we were in was so clean, detailed, decorated/furnished beautifully (you can tell there was so much love and thought put into it) and I automatically felt like I was at home. It felt like a girl's dream hangout spot. I then showed her pictures of my desired results and she was so patient with me choosing the color I wanted and made sure I was satisfied with my choice. As soon as she started it was evident that she was passionate about what she does and a true professional. She made a painful procedure extremely bearable with her precise technique, often replaced gloves/needles, and constantly checked how I was feeling, if I needed anything or more numbing. She really took her time on me and made sure that everything was perfect. She went over my lips multipleeeee times and made sure there was no spot left untouched. There is one area on my lip where the color just wouldn't hold (which is normal for me due to my skin type and had nothing to do with anything she was doing) and unlike the "professionals" in the past who would just shrug it off, she had so much patience and went over it again and again and again until she got the desired result and I was so blown away by how meticulous she was. She is someone that truly strives for perfection and doesn't stop until she gets it. And boy did she get it, in a timely manner too. As soon as she was done and cleaned me up, she showed me my results and I literally almost cried. I did a whole entire catwalk and modeled it off for the other women in the room because that's how happy I was. My results were and are unbelievable. As a woman, we want to feel beautiful and confident & that's definitely how her work made me feel. Her work speaks for itself and wherever she goes I'm going to follow her. If one day she decides to move to Japan, baby guess who's buying a ticket because I will never let anyone touch my lips again who is not her. I took all her business cards that she had. I'm so big on customer service as I've worked in that industry all my life, and her customer service is 10/10 hands down. Ladies, I highly highly recommend this wonderful woman.
