I've been a customer of Mallyna for about two years but today was my final day as a patron. Yesterday i got a classic set of lashes. Early this morning I woke up barely able to open my eyes. Most of my lashes had fallen put and I was experiencing a severe allergic reaction. It was about two hours until they could fit me in to remove my lashes. At first the manager pulled me aside and tried to minimize my reaction, claiming it was dust that somehow caused this. After consulting with an outside lash tech, she said that the only thing this could be was expired products since I've had lashes for two years and never experienced this before. Finally, the manager conceded that it was a bad reaction but would only offer a new set, no refunds, as she stated she didn't have money to pay her staff without my payment essentially. At the end of the day, my lash removal was free but my $125 was apparently my contribution to their apparently thin margins. I think it's unfortunate that this happened to me, I'm just happy to not have lost eyesight over this fiasco. If I were you, I wouldn't risk it here. They seem to be cutting corners with (what I assume is) expired products and a slim ability to pay their people despite their high prices set to customers. read more

Today was the first time I ever got a full lash set (normally I do "natural" extensions that are very minimal) and Aliya did the most beautiful lashes on me. She takes the time and effort to make sure EVERYTHING looks amazing. Aliya is one of those rare artists that shapes the inspo photo to be most flattering to your unique eye shape. One thing I noticed from the very beginning of her removing my first lash set was how clean and sanitary she keeps everything. I felt no irritation while she worked on my lashes; sometimes I get so anxious being in one place for such a long time but she made sure I was very comfortable the whole time. Yesterday I gave this place a try. My usual place was booked up so i picked this place due to the good reviews. What an absolute nightmare. The eyelashes looked like shit after 2.5 hours of wasted appointment with Monica. I wanted to look nice for a family event. During the appointment she was gone over 15 minutes, after she taped up my eye lids and said "I am going to go get your lashes." Seriously? Where was she getting them from, buying them somewhere else??? 150 dollars wasted and 2.5 hours wasted, but I wish this is where my misery experience ended. I couldn't sleep all night because my eyes were hurting. I finally got 2 hours of sleep only to wake up to a swollen and very painful eyelid. Please beware, this place not only offers terrible service but also ruins your health. I am in so much pain and discomfort, I don't know how to proceed with my day. I am going to call them as soon as they open to go get this crap removed from my eyes. Please be careful from this place. At this point I don't know if I should trust them with the removal of the lashes.
