move from Windsor to Amherstburg. They were punctual, a bit early actually, started off well. we even got the key earlier than anticipated. You better be well prepared to direct traffic when they start unloading because they want to get it done asap and get away. 3 items suffered damage from what I have discovered so far. When job complete the foreman Glenn would not accept my personal cheque....said policy is certified cheque only or etransfer....news to me. They had requested a $200 deposit by etransfer and wanted the balance on completion was all I was told. If you have to pay electronically you have to make sure your limit is high enough. Due to etransfer limits, we had to access 4 different accounts (1 was a friend's) standing in the driveway, no WIFI,. one of the etransfers bounced due to bad email....then the phone calls started, no patience on their part while we tried to sort out the problem with our bank. Move on Friday, done late....ended up processing new etransfer on the Monday. Havent heard from them since. My impression is all they care about is the money not customer satisfaction. I called them to give me a quote . Their rep came out and gave us a very reasonable price for a 4 bedroom home. The moving date came and I was very happy with the move . They disassembled everything that need to be disassembled and they also assembled at the new home. They wrapped everything with blankets and no damages or scratches to my stuff . Very friendly and funny , smoothest move ever. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is planning on hiring movers . These guys are the best ever. read more

I hired them to do a job for me and I have had bad experience in the past with other movers . I was happy with their Flat rate Quote they gave me before the moving date . They promised 2 men and a truck . Then on the moving date they showed up 5 men and a big truck . I was so happy with these movers , they make the industry of moving look good. I just had them move my grand piano today. They were AMAZING. That's the least to say about them. Most of all they were very strong and well trained to specially move very heavy items. They moved my grand piano from Pasadena all the way to Encino with no problem. They were very quick and professional. They knew exactly what they were doing. I was surprised that it took very little time to move the piano and a few other heavy items that I had to add for them to move last minute. I'm very satisfied with their services and highly recommend them. The quote that I received from them was surprisingly very low !!!! I recently had this company move me--and when I met with the man and set things up I was told they would wrap all items that need it and take care of it all---they did not wrap a single item and I have many pieces of furniture that have glass tops or doors --nothing was wrapped at all---the man in charge is a very fast talker a real salesman but he does not follow through--I would not recommend this company to anyone I know and if I heard someone was going to look into using them-I would tell them not to---he is very expensive also--not a good experience at all. read more

Omg I absolutely HATE moving! But, my husband and I just bought our first house so clearly it was a necessity, and there was no getting around it LOL. I contacted a few different companies and wasn't at ALL impressed with the initial impressions. The various people I spoke to were either rude or indifferent, and just pretty much couldn't be bothered...it was like they didn't even want the business. But then, when I called Aleks Moving company, I was greeted by THE most friendly person who was eager to help and even came out to do a FREE estimate!! So, we booked with them, and then on our closing day we had issues with ERCA that delayed said closing, and, in turn, our move. I was able to reschedule (twice actually) with no issues, no penalty, and (best of all) NO ATTITUDE!! Only friendliness and well wishes on getting our issue straightened out. Then the moving day came (Thursday, March 26th) and Aleks Moving made the entire process COMPLETELY pain free, and - might I say - enjoyable?? The people who moved me and my husband to our new home were super friendly, incredibly personable, and had me in stitches laughing the whole time. The process was quick, easy, everything was handled with extreme care, and...let me tell you...IT WAS WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!
