He repaired and smoothed out some poorly done drywall patches, closed up the interior wall where an old wall A/C unit had been removed, fixed three interior doors that wouldn't close properly, and finished laminate flooring in my entryway that had been left incomplete. He also added molding and trim around the stairs and half wall, installed a bullnose metal edge at the top step to help prevent tripping, and did some caulking around the entry door and stair trim. Everything came out clean, solid, and professionally done. Alex was always on time, communicated well, and was very respectful of my home. He cleaned up after the work and took the time to explain what he was doing, which I appreciated. His pricing was also very fair for the quality of work. He's easy to talk to and clearly takes pride in what he does. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again and would definitely recommend him to others looking for a dependable handyman.

Uh, no. If it wasn't a straight up lie so I'd buy a pellet stove, it's pure ignorance. If you don't know just say so. Don't make stuff up. I patiently listened to the guy try to sell me a pellet stove, then a pellet furnace, even after I clearly stated I wanted something that didn't require electricity...which I reminded him of after the furnace pitch to which he replied "just get a generator." I was gonna buy their last coal stove but no thanks. Not listening to me=no sale. I went to Fuel & Flame instead bc If they don't know something they say so, or find out, and they do not attempt to blow smoke up (you know where) or sell me crap I don't want. 3 stars because they did have the damper I needed, and the store is neat, well lit, and stocked to the ceiling with pellet stuff (if that's your bag, man.)
